Linda Lang "Querl will you sit with me a while? I don't know too many people here and The Powel hasn't arrived yet either." *Oh but he had. "The Powell" was in his stealth armor, invisible to the naked eye, by the appetizer buffet. His date wanted to raid the buffet so here he was. Operation All Your Foods Are To Belong To Us was underway. Karen was distracting Ms Danvers and Mr Rogers while Chris gathered plates of various appetizers away from prying chaperone eyes. It would seem odd to see plates of food floating to the table but Chris didn't care. His date demanded to be fed!*

*Billy looked down at his suit.*
I know this is kind of odd but I had to borrow it from Chris. Somehow, a large stain ended up on my suit! I was lucky Chris had something clean that fit...and was clean...and not a total disaster to wear to a formal dance.
*Billy cleared his throat.*
So, we're supposed to sit with Chris and his Cassie, Wally, Achilles, Dani, and whoever they bring. I know we had planned to sit with Kate, Eli, and our Cassie. but somehow Donnie Blake and Linda Lang got put at the table.
*They entered the gym.*
THEY GOT AVRIL LAVIGNE!?
*Mystique morphed into Pink and started belting out "Raise Your Glass." *

Karen kept Carol talking as best she knew how since she was trying to distract her. "Karen you look lovely. Nice gloves. But where's your date?"
"Don't worry Carol. He's coming around soon." "But I see your dates here. Hiya Steve." "Hello Karen." Steve replied kindly. "He's not my date. I told you already. We are here on business."
"Sure you are. That's why you pulled out all the stops for that killer dress you are wearing." "I like nice clothes and I don't get out much..."
"Uh huh Surrree~" Karen rolled her eyes, but in truth she was looking to see if Powell had enough grub yet. Once he was carrying at least 5 plates of food Karen decided to ditch. "Well gotta go find my table. See you old guys later." Karen rushed into Chris and super speeded him to the table. She wanted to chow down before anyone else showed up.

"Let's go!"
Wally and Linda walked into the gym and Wally was immediately assaulted by various guys snickering at him.
"Hey, moron, this is the DANCE, not War World."
"Wally, you forgot to finish redressing!"
"Oh thank goodness, Tuxedo Mask is here! Now we can pound these baddies into moon-dust!"
Wally sighed. He turned to Linda as he held out her seat for her.
"Do you mind if I take this off?"

Teddy winced at the music choices. Hartley seemed to be in as much pain as he was, if not more so. Wallace was quite the opposite.
With his hand on the small of Billy's back, he guided him toward the table, pulling out Billy's chair so he could sit down, then scooching him towards the table.
"So..." Teddy began, sidling down into the seat next to him. "....yeah."
Smooth Altman, smooth.

*Five plates of appetizers sat before Karen. After filling out his menu(he ordered the chicken), Chris stole a mozzarella stick.*
Hey, guys. Look at Cassie! She's changed!
*He pointed at Karen.*
Evolved like a damn Pokemon.
*He chewed on the mozzarella stick.*
Billy? That looks REAL familiar. And Bad.

"I would like to-" Querl was cut off by a bunch of the football players arriving.
"HEEEEEEEEEEEY!" Donnie Blake stomped forward, wearing his letterman jacket over his tux, and clapped Querl on the back. "THERE she is. Thanks, nerd. You can sit over there." He shoved Querl over to a seat against the wall.
Donnie eyed Linda up and down. "You don't look half bad!"

Karen was still chowing down giving out a quick "Hey!" to the group that had arrived. She'd already finished 3 out of the 5 plates and allowed Powell to have 1 mozzarella stick. Just 1... The rest were hers. She hoped he'd understand that. stare She swallowed her food and said quickly.
"I'm Karen. Lets not talk about Cassie. She lucked out. her loss! Besides have you seen all this food!? Who could resist!" Oh right... Who could resist!? Oh no! Quick change the subject to something else before the eat it all!! gonk
"Who's that clown?" She pointed her fork at the man Dani was sitting next to. She didn't recognize him. Then again she didn't know who Teddy was before yesterday and apparently she'd gone to school with him the entire year...
Karen shrugged not caring if her question was answered, she just wanted to horde the food for herself and hope her question would distract other others form thinking these plate where for them.
Even more food, Karen checked all the boxes on her entire card tricking the waitresses into bringing her all three meals.
"Hehe." She smirked slyly. twisted

*He checked off the fish choice on the menu and tugged at Teddy.*
Let's get some appetizers from the buffet.

Teddy marked off the meatiest meat option for dinner, and followed Billy over to the appetizers. He glanced over his shoulder at Chris, pointing to the suit. He then sent him a questioning look, obviously wondering why he would ever own a suit that hideous and let his date wear it.

*What an odd looking guy. White hair and all. But he looked real familiar. Chris could have sworn that he knew this guy. Something to do with the color red? This was going to drive him nuts. Maybe the met at one on sporting events...*

Dante looked over at Danielle and smiled as he looked around the room.
" Wow.. they even have karaoke set up."
It was a good thing to know in case the night seemed like it was going to tank. But could Cassie even sing using Dante's voice. Suddenly he got a bit of a headache and put his right hand over his head... some dark energy coming from his body and he grunted slightly. It lasted only about two minutes and then went away... he looked over at Dani smiling slightly.
" Sorry about that."
Dante was trying not to show it but he was slightly concerned... after all Lucifer did warn him about mixing the magic from two different religions. Hopefully he wouldn't turn into the Easter bunny or something from this. He then noticed Chris walking up to him, holding out his hand...
"Hi I'm Dante Morningstar... an old friend of Dani's"
Dante shook Chris's hand...it wasn't a complete lie.

First Billy is in my Michael Jackson costume and now Dani's date is cosplaying Devil May Cry. Make me stop, Karen.

Linda sneered towards the guys who were making fun of her date. How rude! She looked over at Kid Flash..
"By all means since you answered my question correctly I know you are who you say you are. Quite frankly I'm a little surprised that you didn't take it off sooner."
Linda smiled at him, she was having a good time... best of all it looked like so far she didn't need to kill Powell.
