Cassandra Sandsmark Dante straightened out his jacket a bit as Danielle put a flower on his jacket. He smiled at her..
" Oh... I have something for you as well. I bought it in L.A when you weren't looking."He took out a white rose corsage and placed it on her wrist... it was simple, elegant, and of course traditional. He smiled at her offering his arm." Well my lady shall we be off then?"Dante started to head out to prom with Danielle. "Of all the date's I've been on... No ones ever brought me flowers." Quickly she kissed his cheek, it was an impulse, but she told herself she was just being nice. Friends can kiss on the cheek right? "So Thank you. And I'm so ready for this dance. I've been ready for it since forever! This is going to be great I can feel it."

Dante smiled and laughed a bit towards Danielle..."Well you're a better dancer then I am so go easy on me okay?"They entered the prom and several people were already there and talking to each other... a few even started dancing already. Dante smiled briefly at Danielle... " So do you wanna dance now or get to our table?"

Billy Kaplan*Billy Kaplan was officially Freaking Out. His best suit had a huge stain! IT WAS RED ON A WHITE SUIT JACKET! What was he going to do!? This was the reboot date! The clock was being turned back and this freaking stain was plotting to ruin it. IT WAS THE DOCTOR DOOM OF STAINS!
He needed to calm down. He was acting very Powellish and that just would not do. Teddy thought Powell was okay but a bit derpy. He didn't want Teddy to look at him and think that. Wait...Powell. They were about the same size. Maybe Powell had something he could wear!*
Chris won't mind!
*Billy sped down the hall and started banging on Chris's door. Oh no! He must have left already! Billy looked around. Drastic times called for drastic measures. He began to chant.*
Unlock, unlock, unlock, unlock....
*The door clicked and Billy was in! He hurried to Chris's closest.*
No, no, no, ick, no, oh god, doesn't he wash things!? No, no, ick...wait! This will work!
*He had found a white suit! With a hat? It seemed to belong to the outfit so Billy took it all.*
I'll have to thank Chris!
*Back in his room, Billy changed. It was an odd formal suit. White slack, white suit, white tie, and a bright blue shirt. The white hat had a black band around it and there was a blue cloth around one of the arms. Weird but it would work. Black shoes finished it off and Billy was off to pick up Teddy.
Little did he know, Billy was wearing Chris's Smooth Criminal costume from the 80's dance.*

Linda was in the garden waiting to meet her date, she looked at her cellphone 6 o'clock... she was right on time. Fifteen minutes... she would give him fifteen minutes to show up or she would claim that this was some cruel joke by Powell and hunt him down... even if he was Karen's date. After all it wouldn't be right or fair to mess with Linda's feelings like this. The young woman went towards the fountain and sat down at the edge of the fountain looking down into the water at her own reflection, she was dressed her best with light touches of make up and long silky black hair, but Linda frowned and sighed. Who was she kidding? This had to be some sort of joke... Besides it wasn't as though she exactly trusted or liked Powell.

Running back to campus from Paris, still buttoning up his shirt, Wally zipped around. Linda wasn't at her dorm room. Maybe she'd changed her mind? He was just about to find Chris and ask what was up when he saw her waiting in the garden area behind the girl's dorm. He put on the brakes, checked his mask, paused and tried to straighten his wind-blown jacket.
"Hey, Linda." He half-waved when she spotted him. "Thanks for agreeing to be my date on such short notice. I hope I didn't screw up your plans or anything."
He held out a bouquet and then grimaced. It hadn't survived the trip from France as well as he'd hoped.
"Ah, jeez. Sorry about that. They WERE roses from Paris..."

::The tables for students were large and round. They were spread around the edge of the dance floor. Names of students were on small signs on each table. Students had signed up to be seated together at tables. One table had signs that read "Powell/Sandsmark, West/Guest, Baptiste/Guest, Achilles/Rasputin, and Altman/Kaplan." No one had heard that Karen would be Chris's date or who Wally's and Dani's dates were.
Below the signs were menus. There was a large buffet table filled with appetizers like stuffed mushrooms, mozzarella sticks, spicy shrimp cocktail, various dips with chips, and boneless chicken wings. Under that was three entrees that students could order from: basil garlic chicken breast over bowtie pasta with marinara, rainbow trout broiled in white wine sauce over wild rice, or eggplant parmesan. Each entree came with a salad. Baskets of rolls were already on the table.::

Linda shook her head briefly..
" No... it's okay. I'm just glad that Powell didn't decide to play some cruel prank on me for avoiding pretty much everyone lately."
Linda looked off to the side a bit.
" I'm sorry I haven't been in contact with you lately. It was nothing personal but thinking one of my exes came back from the dead just to find out it was some skrull messing with me... it still pisses me off. Plus, there was this nice guy... I thought he was a really great person and all... but he was a former playboy and well from what I've heard he hasn't exactly changed. I've already had my heart broken a few times in the past... Why would I wanna set myself up for another heartbreak?"
Linda sighed... she was rambling but she always did find Kid Flash easy to talk to, understanding and caring.
" Sorry, all of that has nothing to do with you. I just always found you easy to talk to.... I really shouldn't go on about my issues. Besides were just going as friends and all... I hope you don't mind if we sit at the table with my roommate Karen, her date happens to be Chris. It should be fun but not as fun as that one time you took me to the beach... Where was that beach again?"
In her own way Linda was testing the waters... the real Kid Flash would hopefully remember when he took her to the beach in Australia... If he didn't remember that then he had to be an impostor.

When he opened the door, he froze. What the hell was Billy wearing? Wallace and Hartley immediately began to snicker. Teddy stepped out, guiding Billy away, "You look nice babe."

"Melbourne. It's one of the Southernmost points of Australia." Kid Flash replied. That had been a really great night. "The Flash and I once took out one of his enemies, Captain Boomerang near there. He had this giant-" He cut himself off. "Sorry, tonight's not about the heroics. It's about having some fun."
He offered his hand to Linda.
"Shall we go?"

There was the sound of footsteps outside the door, and then a pause. someone was out there, waiting. a hesitant knock, and Teddy got up to go to the door, Hartley and Wallace behind him so they could all leave together. When he opened the door, he froze. What the hell was Billy wearing? Wallace and Hartley immediately began to snicker. Teddy stepped out, guiding Billy away, "You look nice babe." "Billy. Look. This is PROM. Not Cosplay Con. Could you-" Hartley was cut off by Wallace flicking him in the ear. Wallace gave him a 'this is their SPESHUL MOMENT NIGHT DON'T RUIN IT FOR THEM NO MATTER HOW HILARIIIIIIIOUUUUS IT IS' look. Hartley rolled his eyes and nodded."Never mind. You look fab. I'm sure there will be tons of cosplayers there. Let's go."

That was ... right. Linda remembered that night, it was so much fun, and he was such a great person to be with. She smiled as she put her hand into his.
" It's hard to believe you would have a hard time finding a date."
Linda still didn't know how she felt being Kid Flash's last resort for a date... But it wasn't like the two of them were dating or had a romantic past or anything... they were just friends. He didn't remove her mask but Linda didn't care, no matter who he really was at least now she knew he was the genuine article and that's all that really mattered to her. She started to guide him towards the prom..
" Now we can meet up with Chris and Karen later. But first you owe me a dance. I'm leaving this school next year but before I do you could at least dance with me."

"Oh I'll try yo go easy on you. But you know how I get when there'a my song on. I just got to let it flow through me! But yes I'll go easy on you. Just make sure you're up for the last dance and I'll be fine." She grinned at him. Handing their ticket to Carol Danvers, who looked questioningly at Dante since she didn't recognize him form the school."Hi Miss Danver's, this is my date Dante, don't worry he's a friend visiting for a while. I can vouch for him." Carol nodded and let them through."Lets go find our table and see who else we are sitting with. Then I'll dance the night away with you. Plus I want to put my purse down too." Dani finally answers with a smile. So far it was the best date ever.

Excuse me. An announcement before the dance officially kicks off. Unfortunately, Alison Blaire didn't make it.
::Boos erupted from the students.::
But we have good news. Professor Raven Darkholme has graciously consented to perform for us. So...welcome the Musical Mystique.
::Scattered applause came from the students as Darkholme took the stage. She said something to the band behind her and then morphed into Avril Lavigne. And sounded just like her too.::

"I know what you mean. I feel the same way. The only reason I'm here is because The Powell asked for my help with his project. I'm much rather be studding or doing research at the Future Foundation with Mr. Richards. He work is very important and we are almost at a break through."Looking at the gym, she noticed that Donnie Blake was not around yet. "Hmm he must be running late..." She paused thinking a moment. She really didn't know anyone else to sit with and was just going to sit at his table with him and his friends. "Querl will you sit with me a while? I don't know too many people here and The Powel hasn't arrived yet either."
