Listen to me very closely, dude. You know I'm your bro so take my advice. You NEED to put the whole 'Wally West the Player' away. It's why you had a hard time finding a date. Just be yourself. She really, really wants to like you. And she will if you're just Wally West. Okay?
*Chris patted Wally on the back.*
I have to get ready...to probably get abused all night.

As Linda Lang stepped out of the girl's dormatory, Querl Dox trotted up next to her and cleared his throat.
"Er-hrm, Linda...would it be all right if I walked with you to the dance? I mean....after all the work Christopher put into your training, I'm sure he'd appreciate it if I saw it through to the, uh, end. If it's all right with you?"
That's what he'd do...just see her into Donnie Blake's hands, and then melt into the scenery. To observe. Like a good visitor from the future should.

"Umm..." Karen shook her head a little. sweatdrop You still don't understand that Wally IS Kid Flash? Okay. Time to work this all out.Hey she fixed Teddy and Billy, maybe she could put Wally and Linda together too? "Look Linda. it's not fair for both of us to go to this dance without having some fun. I plan to make the most of it even if it is with Powell! You should too!" She put a hand on her shoulder, looking at her with a slight urge to make her understand. "Whatever happens tonight, just know. It's not a trick. It's not a lie. And it's not meant to hurt you in anyway. You have to walk into this with your mind and heart open to the idea of the man under the mask. We share who we are behind the mask with the people we care about."She get's up stepping behind her and looked at her in the mirror. "If he's sharing who he is with you tonight. then he really does care about you. No matter who's under it." She patted her on the back, taking her purse with her and opening the door. "I gotta go get Powell it's time, and I bet he's running late as usual. I'm pretty sure he spends more time on his hair than most girls. So I'm going to light a fire under his butt."She gives a hopeful smile to Linda before walking out and says.
"Remember Linda try to keep an open mind. You'll be surprised at what happens when you do."With her final word she left.

You shouldn't be alone tonight."

"So how do I look?" Dani spins around in her new dress from LA. She'd even turned Witchblade into a necklace to match her dark red and purple dress. Dani smiles at Dante, walking up to him and, helping him adjust his tie it was a little crooked. "You look fantastic it that new 'look' of yours." She looked up into his eyes. Lingering there a moment, Their eyes locked a moment, and Dani quickly blinks then blushing she steps back a bit. "Hmm but its still missing..." She walked over to the nightstand where the flower she gave Dante the night before still was. Smiling at him she pinned the metal flower to his jacket. "There. No other girl will bother you. Now everyone will know you are mine. She faltered a little, with a small smile she looked all over but at Dante. She opened the door a crack... "Uh what I meant was...*Ahem* Are you ready to go?"

Dante straightened out his jacket a bit as Danielle put a flower on his jacket. He smiled at her..
" Oh... I have something for you as well. I bought it in L.A when you weren't looking."He took out a white rose corsage and placed it on her wrist... it was simple, elegant, and of course traditional. He smiled at her offering his arm." Well my lady shall we be off then?"Dante started to head out to prom with Danielle.

Linda looked over at Karen... confused why her roommate was acting like this." If it is really him. I mean how do a I know it's not some imposter in a Kid Flash outfit? Remember when the Skrulls came and I totally thought Jason had come back from the dead."Linda shook her head."That totally messed me up. Why do you think I avoided everyone for so long? I wouldn't expect you to understand... what it's like to try and hide away from the world to forget your pain. But I'll remember your advice it's just.... I don't have my hopes up. I can't get close to anyone Karen. I'm damaged goods, a hopeless cause, and apparently completely unlovable by any sane person."Linda sighed... why was she going through with this? Was it because she felt something for Kid Flash that she hadn't felt for anyone in a long time...? The only other person who somewhat gave her that feeling was Wally but he was too much of a player... No girl wants a guy who will go out with everybody and anybody. Every girl wants to feel like the guy she was with would see her as the most important girl in the world.
That was something Wally never did understand. Linda watched as Karen left, mentally preparing herself to see Kid Flash she thought that maybe she should give him a test... a Kid Flash test. To prove that he was really the same Kid Flash that she had talked to before.... and the test should be administered before he removes his mask... If he removes his mask. She gathered up all her courage and started to head towards the gardens where she was suppose to meet her date.

*Chris straightened his suit in the mirror. He looked good....he guessed. Looking around, Chris grabbed some sunglasses. He slid them down his nose a bit to look over the top of the lenses. Nice. Cool. Smooth.
...
Damn it, he looked ridiculous. Sighing, Chris dug out the corsage he had gotten for Cassie. It matched her superhero outfit...red and blue with a gold ribbon. He hoped Karen would be okay with it.*
Well...let's get this disaster on the road. I don't why I even dressed up. Karen wears nothing but jeans and tees anyway.

Karen knocks three times on his door, when there wasn't an immediate answer she call to the inside.
"Hey Powell! What's taking you so long? We are burning the midnight oil here pal."
*Knock Knock Knock!*

Teddy had panicked, unsure of what he should wear. Could he get away with jeans? Maybe with a button down?
Wallace had visited his room, his arm casually linked with Hartley's. He took one look at Teddy's outfit, made a soft "tsking" noise, and sighed. "Oh Teddy bear," he said, murmuring softly. He wandered over to Teddy's closet. "Who're you going with?"
"Uh...Billy."
"Really?" Wallace's nose wrinkled, "When is he getting here?"
"Probably like, ten or fifteen minutes."
Wallace sighed, and delved deeper into the messy arrangement of clothing, some of it torn and unrepaired from an accidental shift. Wallace pulled out Teddy's nice black pants, a white button down shirt, and a vest. 'Here, put the pants on while I iron the shirt."
Teddy shucked his clothes, pulling on the pants. When Wallace handed him the freshly ironed shirt, he slipped it on and fumbled slightly with the buttons. He then slid on the vest as Wallace pulled a tie out of the closet, knotted it neatly under his throat, and tucked it under his vest.
"It's a Spring Formal Teddy," Wallace said, "Not like, a weekend date."
"Oh."
"Fooooormal Teddy. Fooormal.'
"Cool."
"I swear, you're so hopeless," Wallace sighed, steering Teddy to a mirror to look in at himself. "But you're gorgeous."

*Chris felt like he was walking to a firing squad. He almost chickened out and jumped out the window to head for the hills. But he didn't. He promised Karen and no matter how rude she was, he didn't want screw her over.
He took a deep breath. Grasping the door knob, Chris tried to steel himself for an evening of verbal torture. Physical too if he was unlucky. Chris yanked the door open....*
You need to calm dow- HOLY $#@%!!!!!
*Chris's jaw dropped and his eyes went as wide as saucers. Karen was in a dress...a tight blue dress with long white gloves. It clung to her in all the right places and showed off cleavage. Crazy cleavage. Chris stared and a little bit of drool may have escaped his mouth.*

"I know. I look good. But Powell? Don't stare at my chest!" rolleyes
She noticed the flower corsage in his hand. It helped put her in a better mood.
"Oh hey! Is that for me?" She yanked it out of his hand without waiting for an answer. He was taking too long and there was some droll of his mouth...
"Pretty..."
She then ripped all the red petal on the flower off, leaving only the blue flowers and the gold band.
"And now it's perfect!"
She looped arms with him and pulled him out of the room.
"Come on let's go have some fun! And in case I forget. Thanks for the flower. and You're welcome for tonight."
And people said she wasn't polite! C'mon!

*His mind spun. Karen was in a dress...for him. He couldn't believe it. Since she made herself up for him, the least he could do was try and be a great date. No talk about Cassie. No fighting. And no staring at things. Well...he'd try real hard not to stare at things. He was only human.*
Karen, you look fantastic. Thanks for everything.
*He nestled in close next to her as the walked and patted her hand.*

"Oh this old thing... Heh. Its been around for ages." She laughed a little, trying to hide her blushing cheeks, she hoped that she wouldn't give away that its vintage..
"You ain't so bad yourself. You at least smell better than usual." Opps that wasn't very nice. Lets try again.
"I mean, I'm happy you trimmed your nose hairs." Third time's a charm!
"You smell nice. Glad you showered. And I like your glasses, they go good with your suit." Better, but needs work.
"And I don't know about you Powell, but I sure hope that buffett's got loads of food because, I'm hungry, and I could eat a truck. I haven't eaten anything all day because I was busy getting ready and first things first."
She spoke seriously.
"Our mission is food! So you may wanna carry two plates. No Three. You can balance it on your arm. Then we can go back for seconds! I got the edge on the Superspeed. But If you got stealth mode, you can totally beat the line! We can double team them and get all the good stuff!"
