The recent chapters have caused an increase in the number of Ichigo fangirls. xd Perhaps Kubo is trying to distract everyone away from Grimmjow or Ulquiorra yaoi pairings? No, wait, this surely encourages them...hmm...let's consult Kubo's list.
1. Make feasible manga world.
2. Introductions - Have a few main characters and a simple story involving protecting spirits and freeing souls from their Hollow shells.
3. New people - Introduce a slew of new characters that come out of nowhere - be sure to include some handsome man-women for the fangirls! (Ex. Byakuya)
4. Damsel in Distress #1 - be sure not to make this damsel in any way important to the story after the specific arc is complete. Have her be a filler soldier somewhere or something.
5. Godh4x villain(s) - Reveal the most
intricately impossibly thought out plan by the most
believable fake character with a godh4x ability as the main villain along with Mr. Evil/not evil Smiley Man (hereon known as Gin Ichimaru) and the typical Mr. Blind Swordsman of Justice (hereon known as Kaname Tosen a.k.a Man of Batshit Crazy Logic).
6. Moar characters - Introduce an army of previously unknown bad guys that's majority are supposedly stronger than each of the Captains - be sure not to make any of them stronger than the Captains. Also note to make some of these characters pretty and 'bad boy' enough for the fangirls. (Ex. Grimmjow, Ulquiorra, Szayel [-Szayel only needs to appeal to yaoi pairings, simply make him a pretty version of Kurotsuchi-]
