@Tentae It turns out I have a Paras with a perfect speed IV so it shouldn't be a problem. I don't have a ton of grass pokemon on this game but it turns out I don't even have to chain breed that stat over. Also I have a Ditto with a perfect attack IV so that's covered. Now I just have to get it all together in one pokemon. ^_^

Never use Thunder Wave on Ground types.
Try giving Raichu Focus Blast or Signal Beam or Hidden Power (Ice/Grass). Substitute isn't really it's thing..
Even Magnet Rise or attract wouldn't hurt.

But if you had Focus Blast or Hidden Power.. Grass Knot.. you'd have something for Dugtrio and other ground types. :3
But yeah, Arena trap can be a nuisance =P
I LOVE your Pidgeot. It does REALLY well in battle. I miss my Pidgeot crying
