I actually know women that get hit on more when they are out in pajama pants no make up and hair is a mess. Maybe it's because if a woman is confident enough to look like she just crawled out of bed, in public then she's a catch.
Then again confidence is sexy in it's own too. But not everyone is confident 100% of the time. I don't care how self loveing you are lol.

I think women are so insecure because men spend so much time tearing them down. Guys claim they love confidence but whether it's willingly or unwillingly they do everything they can to make the women they come across feel raw about themselves in some way or form. Women do what they do for men, they make the effort for men and their damned if they do or don't. Don't wear make up? You frumpy cow! Wear to much? You unnatrual hag! So no matter how how self loving a girl is there's always that space of insecurity reserved and caused by men. Everyone wants someone whose confident but they do so much to tear people down on an individual basis to a point where I wonder how people can want that when they work to create a world of paranoia and insecurities.

As for leaving the house in shambles. I was raised not to. My grandma said that it's my duty as a woman to care for myself and present myself to the world in a proper manner which basically meant I looked groomed and no pajama's. I don't leave the house looking like a wreck because when men hit on me I get pissed. If I'm obviously looking like a wreck it means I want to avoid ANY attention including males so then I become extremely irate. But to be honest, when I dress nicely it's for me. Everything I do appearance-wise is for me. Shoes, dresses, hair, makeup, it's how I show myself love and respect despite how I may feel about myself sometimes or in general.

I don't see the point in tearing down the person your with though. Maybe I'm weird that way. Even if the person I'm with feels like crap I'm still going to tell them they are sexy.
I've been torn down by some one I was with and know how much that hurts. So knowing how much it hurts I would never want to put anyone through that. Even before I was hurt I just never saw the point in it. If your with some one its reguardless of how they look, but it's also important to make them feel good about themselves.

Hmmm I wasn't thinking about being in a relationship. I was thinking about coming in contact with people in general. Friendship wise or just plain meeting an individual or passing by.

I think people like to think they don't hurt others intentionally, but I know first hand how some complete and random, innocent words can cut someone s0o0o0o damn deep and I've probably done it as much as it's been done to me without knowing, especially if people handle it the way I do.

With random encounters I try to be polite to anyone. It's just commone curtosy, but yeah things can be taken wrong. Especially if you don't know the person saying it, or know them very well.

I think that also has somthing to do on you are raised too. Some people just have no manners. My best friend's mom has a habbit of trying to joke with people but it just comes off as her being a snarky biyach. I had to explain Janet's sense of humor to my ex boss who now works with her.

My "giver of birth" is like that, but she's just a b***h.

My mother is very hideous. She used to beautiful but years of drugs, alcohol, fights has marred any of her looks and so she tries to take it out on me.

Example. My mother has NO hair. What she has can't be put into a ponytail.

My hair is long enough to touch past my shoulders WITHOUT me straitening it.

I'll wear one of the styles that shows off my length and she'll say. "I know you aint going outside with your hair looking all nappy and nasty."

So to gut punch her I said. "Shouldn't you be worried about getting enough into a ponytail instead of trying to find a way to make me ashamed of ALL the hair I have?" smile

My grandma's is a big woman and my mom is not only fat now and misshapened, and so she'll make all kind of fat digs and stuff.

But the moment we put her in her place she gets pissy and say "You all need to learn how to take a joke."

She's one of those people who think saying "No offense," means you can literally say what you want without reprecussions.

What she says doesn't hurt my feelings, it's just pisses me off because I hate it when the pot calls thge kettle black.

If you're filthy, have no teeth in your head, and practically crippled, then don't go around calling people ugly or saying anything bad about anyones appearance period.

So my mom can EASILY get her feelings hurt and what you say is NEVER a joke, but everything she says is.

She doesn't "joke" with me anymore because I decided to crush her. One day she was insulting me an my brother and was "joking" and I said. "Knock-knock. Whose there. Raped. Raped, who? Damn now I know why all those men raped you mom, you actually deserved it."

Was it wrong? Hell yes, but I like to give people their own dosage of medicine.

yeah if you dish it out be prepared to get it back. Thats terrabl ethat your mother is like that though.
My friend Jess has a mother much like that. When Jess was 7 her mom called her fat and made her go on a diet. She still jabs at her own daughter to this day. Thats just wrong.

Yeah, I'm a Libra so I'm a firm believer of Justice by any means necessary.

If people can't understand what they're doing is wrong, I'll show them.

In my experience, people never like their negative doings to be done to them and that's how I fight back. I was raised to do onto others as you'd like them to do onto you. So when you're rude, mean, violent, disrespectful to me, you're begging me to return the favor and I do. For some reason people like that are nicer to you once you kick them in the a** with their own damn boots. eek

My grandma raised me so I'm fine. My mother is just jealous because she ruined any looks she used to have and she's pissed now because I remind her of what she USED to have. I told her this one time. She always speaks negatively about how I dress but she's always trying to squeeze into my clothes or my shoes, or wants to know where I got this and that from.

My brother is lucky in a sense where he doesn't get as much of her bullshit simply because he's a boy. I'm sorry your friend had to grow up like that.

My grandma would point out when I was gaining weight because she'd want me to do something about it, but she never forced me to diet, she'd maybe nag me because she didn't want me to turn into a blimp and hate myself if I didn't have to be that way.

Some poeple do need a good dose of their own crap thrownm at them from time to time.

Your mother does sound like a very bitter jellous person, that alone will make her uglier.
I'm very lucky my parents are really accepting of who I am, but I have very close friends like Jess who don't have that same kind of understanding from a parent.

Sadly the world is full of ugly people like that though. I'm glad yoy don't let her negitivity stop you from being yourself. It shouldn't

I have to get back to work. be on again later. take care ok.

Yup, and that's where I put on my cape and make them eat humble pie.

She is. I hate to say someone is jealous of me, because that's her favorite phrase. She thinks me, my grandma, her sister are all jealous of her. But half of the teeth in her head are knocked out. Her mouth is crooked from when someone busted her there with a glass bottle, her hairline is receeding from unhealthy hair practices, and as I mentioned she's gained a horrible amount of weight and tries to fit into clothes to small for her. What on earth could we be jealous of? My grandma is a big women, but she isn't grotesque and she doesn't even look that big. She looks proportionate and petite and men MY age hit on my grandma in FRONT of me. So yeah I have a stigma about saying people are jealous of me because I don't want to sound like my mom, but my grandma brought it to my attention one day about how jealous my mom was of me. Whatever. My mom stopped being irrelevant to me when I was like 9, so unfortunately for her, when I argue with her it's not because she affects me, it's because I know I affect her. twisted

My grandma is really accepting of me, so I ignore my mother and her pathetic attempts.

I've met a lot of those people too, most of the time I didn't know they were like that.

Lol, no I'm evil. Her negativity makes me want to be myself more. I hate wearing my hair out, but when I know she's coming by I wear it down to piss her off. 4laugh

Haur, I was planning on having Harvey explain himself to Pam, with a mix of this and this.
PostPosted: Sat Apr 14, 2012 1:03 pm

Aww, I'd love to see Harvey b***h slap some guy over Ivy.

The funniest part is Pam's reaction to this side of Dent.

I think her dark and aggressive side will come out once she finds out she can't have children. Oh yeah, Ivy will be one pissed off psychotic b***h.

XD he smacks one of the teachers that's hassling Pam in her class while he's talking to her.

She knows him about as well as the public does, he's the "White Knight of Gotham" but then he comes home late and...

Pam: What the hell are you doing!?

Harvey: *sighs* Pam... I rob banks.
PostPosted: Sat Apr 14, 2012 1:13 pm

See the way I see it is, Pamela is the aggressive one so to see Harvey smack the hell out of someone is very shocking to her. Harvey's normally the one keeping her in line about what's right and wrong. He's noble and this noble man just busted a dude in the back of the neck. rofl

I can't wait for Pam's scared expression.

When Dent tells her he robs banks she's going to like cross her arms and start crying and acting crazy because that's a horrible lie to cover up his unfaithfulness.

"Oh my god!!! How can you do this to me Harvey!" She's screaming and crying at the same time throwing things in her underwear.

Teacher: I'm going to need those graded papers, Ms Isly.

Harvey: You said you supported me.

Pam: I do support you, but I didn't think you'd be doing... that!

Teacher: I don't care what you do off hours Ms. Isly but you're behind on filing your class' papers.

Harvey: *smacks him across the head*

Teacher: @.@

Pam: eek

Harvey: *goes through Pam's desk and takes out a stack of graded papers* *puts papers in teacher's arm and shoves him out door* beat it.

Then she sees the news report and starts freaking out.
PostPosted: Sat Apr 14, 2012 1:27 pm

Hmm maybe they should be mistaking one another.

She seriously thinks he's cheating and he thinks she's freaked out by his confession and seeing the news report makes her snap out of it and realize Harvey isn't lying.
