They did something to Luffy's name too, but I don't know what since I only read maybe three chapters of One Piece before I decided that the only character I liked just simply wasn't going to save the series for me. 4Kids love raping anime shows for some reason. And they are violently against rice balls if that episode of Pokemon I watched wasn't hint enough...

Oh, yeah, they did change Rika's rice balls into cookies in One Piece. That also made me laugh, it was such a fail. And the thing with Luffy's name is about how L's are R's in Japan or something. I don't think it's such a big deal, because I saw in one of the manga a break down of character's names by country and it's pretty much different everywhere, so whatever.

I thought it was something else. I guess I was just imagining things. The episode of Pokemon I watched, they called the rice balls 'popcorn balls'. EPIC fail.

Yeah, and also how they edited out all the guns in One Piece, that was terrible. So many bad instances of it.

Yeah, we had discussions about that in English class. We all thought that was awful.
So now I'm back on and posting!

No, not even invisible guns. Like Kiya threatens an evil pirate captain with a revolver to save her town and making them. Only in the 4Kids version, it's a sling shot, with no ammo! And then there's an instance were Belle-Mere jumps a merman to save her children. She jumps through the door and pins him to the ground with a shot gun in his mouth. They changed the shot gun to a shovel... It's so wrong.

lulz. There was a gun in one episode of Pokemon, and they simply didn't show the episode. I would have LOVED to see a gun pointed to Satoshi/Ash's head.

Though I did like how they censored one of Shanks's men shooting a hill bandit in the head. It made me lol, because it was kind of bad a**.
Shanks(paraphrased): I don't care if you're a jerk to me, I'll just laugh it off, but if you mess with my friends, that's when i get serious. Hill bandit: You had best step back *points some object that has replaced gun at Shanks* Boom *crew mate shoots hill bandit* *hill bandit falls over* Shanks: When he wakes up, tell him it was a cap gun. Me: lolz rofl

And Fanatic was that in the dubbed or is that in the original subbed version too?

No, in the subbed, they actually kill him for pointing a gun at Shanks. It's just in the 4Kids version that it's a cap gun.
