Ahh, yeah, that happens to me too. Which is why I usually convince other people to buy drinks for me (Other than maybe a flask or bottle I keep for myself).
Though, I have no idea why I slept so long. I ended up just sleeping for 15 hours or so, and I can't think of any good reasons why.

i wonder if it's my turn again yet at conquer club.
i should really do boring things at work like making archive pages... but i just can not be bothered. thus eating up the fun things to do at home instead.

Sleeping is an excellent way to waste time otherwise deemed to be wasted on boredom.
And I almost always pay for my own drinks.. mostly because buying drinks for other people is totally the shits moneywise around here, so it's not common practice to go around bestowing alcohol. ~$10 for a beer.. ? And anything stronger is even more expensive? rolleyes

Thats true, but I at least like to do that on my own terms. Not because I just randomly overslept.
Jeez, $10 around here will get you a few drinks or a pitcher of beer. Not great stuff, mind you, but not terrible either.
I usually just drink beer if people aren't buying my drinks. I'm too cheap and I know how to mix my own the way I like them, and buying alcohol on my own is way cheaper.

Yeah, well.. those are actually bar-prices, so you can go and buy a can at a booze store for $5.
I usually go for Cpt. Morgan in Coke. Mmmm. That or white russians, although I'm not too fond of cream. mrgreen

Yeah, I know they're bar prices. Bars are expensive, which is why I like other people buying drinks for me. I don't mind buying beer, but I don't really like drinking it either.
I usually drink Jack and Coke, or whatever is convenient. I always end up getting really basic things on my own.

It's been a while since I stopped drinking beer altogether. I only really drink it when it's free, since I prefer coughing up cash for drinks I like better myself.
And I sometimes wish I was a lgiht-weight. I'm really high maintenance when it comes to drinking.
@Cieve; Ungh. I'm on a low-tide now, but YOMFG I was dying at the end of last year.

Well, usually when I drink it, it is free. But I don't mind pitching in a few bucks for a pitcher of beer. I know that when I go out places like that we'll probably get something to eat, and actually getting drunk would take a lot more money than I'm willing to spend. That and I'm usually more interested in the food than anything else...
I don't really like getting drunk in bars. Walking home always sucks, and I don't really trust my friends to drive me back (I hardly trust them sober, let alone after that). And $5 a drink when I know I'm going to need at least 8 does not sound cost efficient to me. I can get a bottle for $7 and be fine with that. We usually make a habit of drinking before we go, then just getting a few beers at the bar if we want that.
I hate spending money on alcohol anyway though. I think I would piss myself off if I did it regularly.

Meh, I go out drinking, maybe once - twice a month. And yeah,we start at home too. I've been playing it grand for the last few times and drank quite a lot of white wine, but I've moved back to Good ol' Jack now. Which reminds me, two of my friends owe me like half a bottle between them. scream
I'd love to have more party-throwing friends, but meh. They might come around next fall. xd
And a 100% ******** you at snow right now. GO AWAY.

I need more friends who throw parties and less friends who drink what I do. I used to be I was the only one who drank specific alcohols at parties, so I knew I could get away with having a whole bottle to myself. Now everybody drinks everything, especially the drinks I mix. Which gets frustrating because I know there won't be anything left after a few hours except cheap sake and vodka or something.
The parties around here are generally really small anyway, or at least really boring. I haven't been to a decent one in a long time.

Hm. I used to frequent this forum where there was a load of really strange people hanging, and they sometimes held the craziest parties (which were awesome). But now that I have.. erm. Technically two exes, and I feel the quality of the conversations there has gone down I guess I don't go to those anymore.
And yeah, I totally get the "everyone drinks everything", I need to practice my skill of liking über-sugary things that hardly anyone else can stand. I wonder if they have a cherry-flavored soda anywhere on the icelandic market..

I'm just tired of my little group of friends. I like hanging out with them, but a little variety would be nice. Plus everyone tries to start drama over stupid crap, and I can't stand it, so I hardly hang out with them anymore. And it seems like whenever I try to hang out with somebody new, things just don't quite work out. I don't really care about huge parties, but I like being able to sit down and talk to people, or have the option of watching tv or playing a video game or something. It's amazing how rare that ends up being.
And yeah, I used to drink straight, hard liquor because no one else would touch it, save for one or two people. And I liked them, so I didn't care. I feel like I'm learning to mix drinks just to make more obscure and scary things that people in their right mind won't touch, but I already know some of my friends make and drink horrific things. It's a tradition of one of my friends to mix everything in the house and drink it. Or the worst combinations of things. Then he'll go, "What? It tastes good!" and we all have to tell him, "No, no it doesn't." I can tell when I'm drunk to the point of hating my body, because I'll drink what he's having.

Yeah, same here. Although there's atleast one person I probably won't get bored of, ever. And I don't participate in drama. I hate drama, and I hate people that make drama out of nothing.
The friends I DO frequently go out with end up always just talking, there were 5 of us (all girls. *sigh* ) Last saturday, and we were having a good time, despite a few flaws; One of them has a boyfriend; leaves early. One of them is really lightweight; gets depressed and leaves early. One of them shouldn't really be out in public when drunk, and made me want to leave early..
But in the end it was a great night, especially due to poker (I love playing poker when I'm drinking).
And yeuch. I can't drink stuff I don't like the taste of, hence I never drink straight alcohol.. except when I'm shooting. And Apple schnaps is a preferred. 3nodding

Oi. He knows I'm in a steady relationship. he has a girlfriend. Yet, he's asking me to bunk- ALONE- with him at the con in Chicago this May. The hell? gonk
I wish I could come up with some way of getting out of it other than telling him 'Joey wouldn't like it and I don't trust you' or something like that. Bah.
