Cassie paused a minute realizing that her best friend really wanted her to be there." Well... I have plenty of dresses and wearing dresses all the time isn't really my thing. As for me dating someone else that would end up badly, Chris would get insanely jealous for no real reason.... we both know that he's been there before. Besides Ian's cute but has zero personality and I really don't know about Alana." Cassie looked up from her thoughts looking at some suits in a store window.
" If I show up as myself now matter what Chris will approach me... and I want some space from him right now, because that'll make things easier for him when I do leave for Troy. But if I disguise myself as someone else then I can go to the dance and he won't even know I'm there. Plus it'll be nice to have some time where it's just the two of us." Cassie smiled over at Danielle." You know I know the perfect person to go to in order to get a disguise. But I'll only go on the condition that you'll be my date, I don't want some random stranger snatching my best friend away from me. So what do you say Dani? Will you go out with me just this once?"

Dani beamed happily. xd "Of course! This is going to be so much fun!" She was feeling really happy about this. But then suddenly she knew there would be repercussions. "Cassie, Chris can't know. He won't understand, and I'll feel really guilty if something happened between you two because of this. Because of me. So this disguise has to be perfect." They walk into a wig shop, and Dani motions around. "I think you'll need some new hair... Maybe even go brunette? Glasses? Hey it really works. Trust me. If someone sees you with me? How will we explain it?" She ponders, putting a finger to her mouth. "Maybe I should have a disguise too?" She would love to try on all these wigs! A shopping day to remember! Maybe go red-head? teehee. whee "But who did you have in mind for yourself?"

Cassie smiled... none of the wigs seemed to catch her interest. When she first started as Wonder Girl she wore a black wig ... so just a wig would seem to obvious." Well... I was going to Los Angeles to see an old friend of mine to help me out with the costume. Actually I use to work for him. His name's Lucifer Morningstar and he's a bit excentric but I'm sure he can help. There's really no need for you to get into costume unless you want to." Cassie paused a bit... " And of course Chris can't know.. if he asks I'll say I'm too busy training. Still we don't get enough time where it's just the two of us." Cassie was really happy. She saw this kinda like an experiment as to see what dating a girl would be like and since it was Dani she was sure that there would be no major attachments.

She assumed he was some fabulous, gay, stylist from LA. "I think I should get a disguise... It may be safer... then again two new girls at the school dance may draw us unwanted attention. But I'll have to wait and see."

Cassie laughed a bit when Dani called Lucifer a 'hairdresser'." Oh, he's much more then that... he's kinda in the 'mythic' category... Also whoever I said I was going to the dance as a girl?" Cassie walked out the mall and floated off of the ground a few inches." Anyways if we are going to go to go L.A then we better get flying... I'm sure Luce won't mind us dropping in..."

"Huh?" Dani questions, but again it was a wait and see type moment she was sure. "Oh this is getting very interesting." Dani reached out her arm and activated Witchblade, its' metal coiling around her arm and across her chest and back forming two wings. A few moments later she was up in the air as well! "LA Here we come!" She shouted gleefully taking flight with Cassie!

Cassie flew alongside Danielle towards Los Angeles. When they arrived Cassie made her way towards a piano bar known as 'Lux', of course it wasn't quite open yet but that didn't deter the young blonde as she soon found Mazikeen and asked to be let in. Once inside the two teenagers saw a very upscale piano bar and Lucifer drinking a martini near the baby grand piano. Cassandra went up to him... since there really were no customers Lucifer seemed to let his angelic wings out, though they were really wings of a fallen angel." It's been a while Cassandra." " Yeah, well I've been in school so I haven't really had time for the internship." "Who's your friend?" " Oh? This is Danielle... Dani this is Lucifer. Last summer I worked an unpaid internship with him." Lucifer stood up and walked towards Danielle, the man clearly had class as he bowed down slightly.. picked up Danielle's hand and kissed it."Charmed I'm sure." Lucifer then turned back to Cassie." So what brings you to my humble abode?" " I need a disguise... a really, really, really good one." " Only if you agree to work at least one more Summer with me before you graduate high school... unpaid of course." Cassie grunted slightly. Lucifer could be a hard task master... Who knew the devil could be so cruel?" Fine... but you have to make me a man." " Oh.. Cassandra I think it's better we just stay friends." " No, not like that.. Just turn me into a guy. Until the dance is over.. then I can go back to being myself. Make sure no one will recognize me... maybe change my height and hair color to." Lucifer sighed... "Fine.. fine.." A slight glow surrounded Cassie and when it faded she looked completely different She looked over at Danielle." Well what do you think?"
Cassie was a little shocked as she noticed even her voice had changed and was a little deeper. Lucifer simply chuckled.

Dani had to close her eyes from the light, blocking it with a hand, and when she opened them again, she was really surprised to see the dramatic change in Cassie. "Whoah!" Dani exclaimed looking at Cassie. She was totally different, more different than when they just change sexes last year. She was completely different as a person. Hair, eyes, height, build, clothes, everything. No one would ever know. Dani walked around him, looking him up and down, pausing to glance at his rear just a second too long. She smiled facing him, and running a hand in his hair and down his face a little. "I can't believe it, if I hadn't seen it with my own two eyes! You look completely different! Not sure if one night is worth an enter summer of unpaid internship..." She glared a little at Lucifer, he was kinda ripping them off wasn't he? But then again it's in LA... All those shoes... and he nice to look at... maybe it wouldn't be so bad. "How about a month instead? Time to spend at the beach. Not at work!" She asked Lucifer. He must understand! But to Cassie she asked. "So, how do you feel, Cassie? Oh wait... I guess I can't call you that anymore." She laughed. "So you have a new look. What about a new name?"

Lucifer smiled at Danielle.' My dear Cassandra already agreed and a deal is a deal after all.. Isn't that right Cassandra?" Cassie nodded."It's okay Danielle... Lucifer's not exactly the type you back out of a deal from. Besides maybe I can show you a good time at the dance, so you won't feel so lonely" Cassie knew that was the reason Dani wanted her there but for the most part decided not to dwell on it. Then the subject of a name came up, Cassie really hadn't thought of a name, she paused in thought when Lucifer spoke up..." How about Dante Morningstar? You could just say that you are someone interested in possibly transferring to the school next semester who happens to be an old friend of Danielle's... It wouldn't be a complete lie." Cassie sighed, not being able to think of a better name. Her hair now ash white and her body slender and muscular." Okay... Dante it is then." " Just be careful Cassandra. Remember it is 'my' power which transformed you. I don't know how the blending of two religions would work." " Tell that to Emperor Constantine." Lucifer chuckled a little as Cassie looked over at Dani." Are you ready to go? Or would you like to do some shopping in L.A. first"

"Like you had to ask?" Dani smirked at 'Dante', wrapping her arm into his. "Besides, it's not just shopping for me anymore!" She playfully nudged him "We've got to get you some new clothes! Red's still your favorite color. I think I've got a new look that would really work on this body." *** A few hours later Dani had spent a hefty chunk of money on outfits for both of them. Not as many for Dante since it was temporary, but still nice enough to walk in. The clothes could always be altered to fit Cassie also. But Dante's signature item was this fantastic red leather coat that fit him like a glove. Carrying the bags in her hands, Dani asked 'Dante' "It's about time to head back now. I just hope no one ends up looking for Cassie... Cause that would be hard to explain."

Billy leaned over to Karen and pinched her chin between two of his fingers.
"Karen, you seem like sweet girl with a crusty exterior but I will tell you two truths. First, you got Powell-itis....and who wouldn't with that butt. Two, I have never...neeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeever...stared at your chest. Now excuse me, I have to eat some crow."
Billy sighed, closed his eyes to gather himself, and turned to Teddy.
"Teddy...listen...I've been doing some long, hard soul searching lately. I know I owe you apology. Sometimes I have a hard time seeing beyond myself. I'm so comfortable with who I am that I never gave a thought that you might be struggling with who you are. I kinda tried to drag you out of the closet without stopping to think how it may affect you.
Some of my behavior was out of line too. I've never...wanted to be in a relationship before and certainly not with someone as awesome as you. When I saw how uncomfortable you were, I didn't connect it with you struggling with your sexuality but I saw it as a rejection of me. And I got a little crazy. Not Powell/Cassie crazy but crazy enough."
Billy cleared his throat.
"So, my point is...if I have one...is that...can we start over? I'd love to attend the Spring Formal with you. We can go as friends or as a date or whatever you want. But I won't lie...I hope it would be a date.
....
And no, Karen, still not looking at your boobs."

Karen was both shocked and embarrassed.
Billy was blunt, callus, and rude. She smiled a little, chuckling.
"You've got guts Billy, I'll give you that. You gave your friend a heartfelt apology, even had the guts to ask him out. That's brave."
She glared at him getting up from the table to look down at him. her voice was cold and serious. She looked pissed as hell.
"But the stupid part was talking about my boobs! If you ever talk like that again, in public, or like ever. I'll punch you in to Saturn. Got it twerp? Also I can't stand The Dweeb, you're way off base there."
Then she shrugged, putting on her i'm slowing starting to get less angry face.
"Anyways, I win! Because my way was far better and faster than whatever the hell The dweeb was in getting Teddy here a date, and doing with mini-me-super-clone. I'm off to go gloat in his face. See ya."
She wave goodbye to them and was off to rub this is Powell's face. biggrin

Walking around with Danielle 'Dante' got quite a few looks from mostly females but never said anything. It felt weird being a guy, Cassie didn't have to wear a bra for one thing... hell she could even walk around with her shirt off... not that she did. Dante decided to let Danielle choose out some of the clothes for him which were mostly black and red to which he just smiled realizing that his best friend certainly did have a sense of style.
" Yeah we should head back... I don't know who would be looking for 'Cassie' except maybe Chris. But time away from him wouldn't be a bad thing."
Dante then using Cassie's powers floating off the ground slightly before picking Danielle up into his arms.
" Besides... is it such a bad thing if only the two of us spend some time together?"
Dante smiled before flying off with Danielle back towards Hero High.

*Chris found Bobby Drake pounding Jesse James by the breaker box. Smoke was pouring from the box.*

*He pulled Bobby off the 'student body president.'*
What the hell happened?
This guy thinks he some type of trickster. He set a cherry bomb off in the breaker box. I don't when we can get power back!

*James slunk off and Bobby went to call Doreen Green for help. Chris flopped down into a chair in the common room. He had his work cut out for him with Linda not to mention he needed to talk Cassie.
He learned his lesson from assuming she attend the last dance with him and knew he better damn well ask. He planed to do it in the morning in a way he hoped she thought was cute and funny. If he could just get a hold of her....she had been distant lately. He would have been worried what this meant if he wasn't so tired of what it might mean.
Oh, quit it. Don't borrow trouble. It's probably nothing. She's just busy, he thought to himself. Plus, you still haven't figured out how to rescue Achilles from the Underworld this summer. Chris heaved himself out of the chair and headed back towards his room.*

Teddy winced when Billy took Karen's face in his hands, ready for her to haul off and hit him. He prepared to see Billy's body fly across the room and slam into the wall, creating a huge dent there on impact.
Instead, he heard the sound of Billy giving him a heartfelt apology, and it sounded really nice. Genuine. Teddy took a moment to think over what Billy had said, to take it in and come up with a reply of his own. It was odd, how Billy had finally been able to acknowledge Teddy's feelings only after they had been apart for a while. Maybe they had needed a serious break.
"I should apologize too," Teddy began, "I didn't really tell you how I felt, and instead I just avoided you. That wasn't really fair of me either." He paused, taking a moment to gather himself. "I--I'd really like to go to the dance with you."
Teddy frowned as Karen threatened Billy, but he doubted she'd actually do anything about it. Then he waved as she walked off, leaning over to whisper to Billy, "I think she might actually like him."
