Hate to be negative... but I doubt it. Judging from what I've surmised about each of the 'major' players involved in the Kikyo Support thread, this fight will continue, either because Desna, Kansai, WJ, or some other AMC reg mod locks it or warns them again. I doubt seeing any change what so ever, other than a slight slow down in post speed over the next couple days... if we're lucky.


... Yeah... I just backlogged there. I feel even more like raising hell.

I like hiding away here. I can still talk with all you guyses and have fun and just not have to deal with the stupidity and the craziness of Gaia. With me also rarely being around for more than one, two posts.. it's convinient and a nice stress relief. I remember being in forums for hours and hours, but now.. I just don't see the point.

On the subject of 'Mods not doing their job'

I'm sorry, when did it become a moderator's job to do anything other than try to add structure to any given forum? When did it become their job to make sure that everything runs like a perfect well oiled machine? I hear my brother complain all the time about other boards that he frequents, where the mods and admins go so far as to prohibit users from making any new topics whatsoever, even if they do fit into the category. "If it's not made by a mod, it must not be good enough to pass," that seems to be the general thought process among the higer ups.

When was it decided that a mod had to lead the users by example? I realize that there will always be people who make mistakes, who don't read the rules, who are just plain ignorant, but that doesn't excuse anyone, not mods, admins, even forum regulars, from bitching them out to the extreme.

Mods are designed to give the admins a more structured system to work with, allowing them to focus on bettering the site. Mods are not in control of what is asked of them usually, they're go-fors, people who do the grunt work.

I'm sorry... I just think that needs to be respected, for all the s**t they put up with, and this just adds to it. Maybe I'm just old fashioned like that, thinking that the people who do the most work need to get the most credit for a job that gets done.
