Ah, well, you see....

I had this one friend, Alex. I loved him so much, in a platonic way of course. I trusted him quite a bit, and then one day he just stopped talking to me. This was after several years after a close friendship. He hadn't spoken to me for a year, and then I got in contact with his younger sister. I asked her about it and she went on about how he hated me and such, but I was never told why. She told me that he had said he didn't need me anymore, things of that nature. I mean.. I cared about him, so much. I trusted him with everything, and I would have done almost anything for him. There were four of us, him, me, Caitlin, and Blair. Blair would very much so like to kill me now, and it going around saying how much of an arrogant, tuck up b***h I am. Caitlin and I are just fine...only we aren't allowed to see each other. Alex.. won't talk to me. I saw him in April, talked to him for a bit. He told me how people grew apart and stopped caring about each other. He was the last of my friends from my childhood that I had. Or at least, my childhood in terms of age. That quite honestly crushed me. We told each other everything. If something happed to the other, or if something went wrong, the other was the first to know. We could call at three in the morning and the other wouldn't mind. So, naturally, when I heard him say that, I just sort of went blank, didn't quite comprehend it.

Then I saw our friend Heather again, and started talking to her. She was the one that introduced me to him those six years ago. We talked about how we missed him and such, and she asked me to write a letter to him. So that's what I'm doing now... and crying over it.

*walks into the thread, eating off a small plate of Chicken in the Garden with my hair in a sweaty, pony tail mess*

My goodness Anise, that's pretty sad. I remember when me and my best buddy, Kyle, stopped talking to each other . . .oh the agony. Then again, it was nothing as sad as this.

bad friends. at least your not talking crap like any of them might be. your being the better person, and friend, just wait, at some point in life there ganna try to be all friendly again.

Ah. Ouch. I understand that pain all too well. I was actually in the process of writing that letter at one point or another believe it or not. It's not pretty or easy to get over. I won't try to say anything to stop you from crying. There are just times when it is needed. It's weird I was actually thinking about songs right now that could help me say something to you and I was thinking about Cold and one of their songs came up uh Cure My Tragedy (A Letter To God) I don't actually know the lyrics to it. But the fact that I was thinking of Cold and they come up with a song with the word letter in it seemed I dunno. I hope that you can at some point or another can find peace of mind. Time helps. Even if it seems like it could never do anything. I don't know if it ever goes away but hopefully you will find someone else that can bring that special something to your heart and you can find a way to let go.

Sorry for you having to read the mindless blabbings of some stranger dood guy. I just couldn't stay silent.
