Thom migth not have been playing his flute and there didn't seem to be any obvious change like there had been before. But it seemed to Leif's perceptive gaze that many darts fell just short or overshot their makrs and many of the troops of the Nagori seeemd slightly slower and disheartned. Only slight changes, probably not precpvaable by most.
The redhead in turn, did what he could. He could throw a mean punch if he wanted, but he didn't see a lot of action over with Thom.

Soy stopped with her eating, though her hand holding the piece of silverware idly kept working, twirling the fork, as if the woman had a problem with being perfectly still.
"Interesting?" the Saiya-jin asked, more to herself, a saddened look coming over her features. The next moment it passed, instead hardening. "I spent my recent years fighting alongside my brother and friends to defend our home. Though needless to say we ran out of enemies and so instead I'm here now to help."

Ashuri nodded, "I know what that feels like." she replied with a sigh. "I haven't had a decent battle in a long time... and being taken by surprise doesn't count."
The woman allowed a small ball of ki to form in over her hand.
"Not much use for warriors in this time of peace." but suddenly she blinked, turning to the owner of the resturant.
"Oji-san! Ashita wa nan-yobi desu ka?!"
The old man frowned for a second, "Ashita wa hinamatsuri desu."
Ashuri's eyes lit up, "Arigato onegaishimasu!" she said before turning back to Soy and Aoikage. "You guys are in luck. Tomorrow is hinamatsuri, girl's festival. We should take a walk through the peach gardens. That's something that I KNOW Aoikage would have never seen before. Everything'll be in bloom!"

Morrigan was alarmed, but rational and of strong will. She rushed over to Po-ar, calmly examining his arm, calculating eyes narrowing. She didn't really care how he reacted to her bold caretaking, especially with this mood; she was tough. Closing her eyes, she began to focus her energies there, examining what exactly the nature of this malady was. Like any ailment, it had its own energy signature---she just had to figure out the root. In the meantime, she began to draw out the negative energy through her palms, adding a bit of her own and some holy energy in their place. "This is weird..." she murmured, "Very weird."

Po-ar quickly snatched his arm away. "Stop!" he shouted, for her healing energies had only intensified the pain. "That isn't the way to make the pain go away... I don't know what it is or what caused it... but I bet your friend Naga does. It WAS his barrier after all."

"Sounds good," Soy smiled before something else came to mind. The training. They shouldn't really put it off but Aoikage needed to get out and live as well.

Aoikage looked from Ashuri to Soy and back. "What is a peach garden?"
Ashuri blinked in mild surprise. "Well, it's a fruit, and when the trees are in bloom, it's beautiful. It's almost like when the cherry blossoms are in bloom."
"Oh..." Aoikage replied. "It's been a long time since I have seen a flower..."

Morrigan looked grave at this information. "The seal might've transferred to you." she nodded once, "It's a possibility. If that's the case, I could remove it, but raising the energy would take me a bit. I'd have to invoke one of my goddesses.... I'm... I'm not sure we should stay here." she spoke in a hushed whisper, beginning to feel warm. "I don't know. I feel uneasy."
Vincent groaned and coughed, still for the most part incapacitated. Unlike his lineage's constitution, Maeve would be at the point where she was able to speak semi-rationally now.....
......Even if she was a bit more manic than usual, and the visuals were ridiculously rainbow-bright.
Morrigan moved over to her brother for a moment, utilizing half of her energy left on fortifying him. Instead of dry heaving, he eventually settled into a calm daze, unspeaking, but at least able to move around.
She couldn't imagine the world through his eyes right now.
The remainder of the assassins were killed off, finally; the druids, no longer focused on the seal or attacks, gathered up the other hallucinating initiates, and did what they could to ease their nausea. Morrigan returned to Po-ar, kneeling down in front of him, eyes meeting his. "So what do you want to do, Po-ar?" she asked him tranquilly, trying to make sure he had no reason to yell at her. Even if he did, she'd be serene as the surface of a pond, still and hyaline. She was a pillar by nature; it was only right to her to be as calm, strong, and collected as possible during and after times of crisis. If only she could get rid of the nagging sense of wrongness. Or perhaps, should she pay attention to them?
The assassins shrugged. Well, there was only one way to deal with this:
Two of them pierced the woman's flesh with additional tranq darts, having run out of their more commonly used, longer-lasting hallucinogen-tipped. It fit their purposes well enough. Once she was unconscious, they hoisted her up over their shoulder, faded out, and reappeared before Naga.
The leader raised an eyebrow. "What.....the.... Who is this???" he asked. It was hard to tell whether or not he was pleased or sarcastic.
"Her skin, look at her skin..." one hissed, leaving her at his feet.
"She was in the same area as them..." the other shrugged, "Seemed odd to me."
"I've never seen her before," Naga shrugged, "But how curious! Why would she need vervain...? Lock her in the back room, keep a close watch, but feel her well.. You know our policy on food." he snickered.
The henchmen did as asked, without another word.

Imogene groaned as she started to stir awake. Okay, so maybe egging those guys on hadn't been the wisest move. Stupid tranq darts. Was shee dead? She was awefulyl comfortable, maybe she had moved on. Wow, that would suck.
Imogene blearly opened her eyes and sat up in...a bed? For a split second she was have tempted to bush away her expiernces as a dream, but this was definatly not her hotel room and she could still feel tender areas on her arms. Damn fairies.
Imogene leaned against the headboard and closed her eyes, trying to remember all the research she and Maxine had done on fairies almost a year ago. She was going to have to watch her step. She didn't even bother to check the door or windows; they were probably locked and if they weren't no need to encourge locking before she had a basic escape route planned. She was propably going to have to wait for someone to coe to her. Damn. Stupid fairies.
She was going to kill Vincient. Never mind that he'd tried to warn her, he ended up siccing the "bad" faires on her by accident.
Story of my life, Imogene thought wryly.

Euro kept watch however, fearing that some of the assassins might return.
Po-ar meanwhile, shook his head as Morrigan spoke. "No, the barrier was destroyed completely. I can summon my portals, but this new one that I tried to summon tiggered the pain flare up." he smirked, "Yet I could hardly have Naga's men destroying the haven within my portal. What I summoned is highly evil, and it's something that I rarely bring into this world, but it works well against enemies." he sighed, flexing his fingers again as he watched his hand move in pain. "It makes me wonder if Naga had some sort of backup plan reguarding that barrier. Just think, if it were a priest breaking the barrier... this pain might have transfered, through their spell, to their mind."

Ashuri nodded, "Well then, come on you two, we should go out and have some fun, show Aoikage this world for what it truly is. Besides, we can hardly spend the entire day inside a Teriyaki house."

Morrigan nodded. "To have broken that, I consider you a priest in your own right." she quietly admitted, "But it doesn't surprise me. Naga must've expected this. The priest would've been disabled for maybe a year and a day." She patted his arm gently. "It's obviously influenced negatively by evil. C'mon. Let's start tending to the ill. They most definitely need it."
Outside the doors, one of the guards nodded, and Naga shook his head in reply. "Whether or not she's awake, no one's going in there until I say," he stated sharply, "Not until we figure out what exactly she needed vervain pollen for. Or maybe until a further update from Konton. Patience, patience," he dismissed with a wave of his hand, "Patience."
The guards sighed and returned to their posts, weapons beared, and bored as hell.

Now that the battle was over, Thom had gone promptly back to see his sister. Ignoring everyone else, he knel by the bed and stroked her forehead. She was still feverish. Naga would pay for hurting his sister.
Leif just watched Thom go with a sigh before going over to Euro.
'See anything?" he asked, his own senses, scanning teh area.

Imogene was not a person to take captivity well. She did nto like being cooped up, even when she had done so for her own safety.
She kicked hard against the door with her boot, trusting that there would be at least one guard outside the door. Stupid fairies were going to regret kidnapping her if she had to shove iron down each and every one of their stupid pixie throats

Po-ar nodded, standing. "I can do little to heal, but I can bring some of my healers here, if that would help."

Konton's emissary appeared before Naga, his black form oozing up from the floor.
"My master wishes to tell you his seed has been planted. The one responsible for the destruction of youe barrier is marked... and I present you with this." the figure handed Naga a small box. "Ask it the position of the marked one, who is Po-ar himself, and the device will show his exact location." the hooded demon smiled. "None can hide from my master's eyes..."

Ashuri smirked, "Well, finish eating and I'll show the both of you a good time."
