The thing Haucon hated most about Leila was that she was almost always right, and knowing that he was doing something stupid never made it any better. She was right, he knew, that there was nothing going on and that he'd just have to get over it. Still it would take time. He stared at the window, trying not to think. He ran a finger experimentally over one of the sharp edges, and pulled it back, sucking on it as it was now bleeding. He looked at the dustpan full of shattered glass and a smile spread across his face. Maybe. he thought to himself. It's worth a try.
He picked up the dustpan and put it next to the window, then disappeared into his room, digging under clothes and random assortments of notes, finally coming up with a can of spray paint. Excellent. He was on his way to the door when he saw Leila's old clothes kicked into the corner and half buried by his own clothes. He paused and moved toward them. They looked so dead and lifeless, contrasting with what he knew about Leila. He scooped the corset up and brought it to his face. It still smelled like her, but it was so different from her. He threw it into the bottom of his closet in distaste. He'd burn it with her when he had more time and energy.

She tensed as the small demon walked up to Liam and the kitten, frowning slightly. Why am I so tense? she thought as she watched the girl. Narrowing her eyes, Kihaku eyed the child closely, distrust evident in her eyes. Setting her plate aside for the moment, she leaned back against the counter and studied the small person carefully.

Violet was perched on the edge of a building, a few streets away but her jewel like eyes gave her a perfect view through the broken window. As Asyel became a cat she scoffed. "It doesn't matter what you look like, they'll never fully except you. Your evil inside, unlike the traitor you enjoy what you do...so you can never know happiness," she muttered under her breath, almost wishing Aysel could hear her. Violet was sitting with her wings hunched, human's walking past ignored her, assuming she was made of stone as she made no movements. 'Just leave. They don't accept evil.' she thought, unwittingly letting out a sigh.

Dream had gone completely silent when Aysel had changed into her feline form. So that was why he had recognised that demon... He had never seen her in human form previously, but there was a time, long ago, where he had come in contact with Aysel. She was in her cat form at the time. He had tried to become friends with her, but she didn't accept it. She didn't oppose him, either, though, so that was a good sign. Unfortunately, it looked as if she had changed. She seemed a bit more evil now, and more outgoing. But the fact remained that he now rememberd Aysel.
At this point of his recollection, she was looking at Liam's cat, Lucky. He had something to say to Aysel, something that he was not sure how she would take. He knelt down on one knee, mainly just to have better eye contact with Aysel, and spoke calmly to her, face completely expressionless. "I don't know if you know me or not, Aysel... but I remember you now. I have definately changed since then, too. What I want to know is... how much have you changed?"
((For reference, I have in fact seen tizer's Aysel character in a previous Roleplay, Empire of the Black Queen (or something like that). I'm drawing a bit from there, tizer, so you can go along with me or you can not remember it, it doesn't matter.))

Holly blinked at this sudden change, the only outward appearance that she had at the surprise. She sat on top of the couch, in order to keep her wings comfortable, and watched the exchange between Dream and the demoness with unusual attentiveness.

At the foot of the stairs, Remiel paused. Why was he taking the stairs? Because there were winged dangers outside that he may not be able to deal with. And why did he want to go up anyways? Because there was a mass of demon and other energies upstairs. How would he find them without alerting them to his presence? Good question. He would chance the creatures outside. He had heard a glass breaking it a few minutes ago, and he heard shards of glass hitting the pavement. That meant they were near a window. He could deal with that.
Remiel exited the building, walking along its walls until he came upon glass. From that spot, he gazed up. His sharp brown eyes caught sight of the broken window. Okay. That's where they were. That's where the human was. The human who asked him to become good. Even now, Remiel thought it ridiculous, to say the least. What was there to gain by abiding by laws and saving people? That only invited the badness. And who was to say he was evil? He ate people and demons, but he was doing it in order to live. People don't kill each other because they ate defenseless cows. Why should he be exempt?
Stretching his wings, Remiel tucked the staff close to his body. It wouldn't do to have it break. No magic could break the obsidian staff, but if he dropped it from high in the air, the powerful staff would break into millions of pieces. How ironic.
He launched himself into the air. His powerful wings effortlessly lifted him and kept him aloft. For all his frailness, his wings were stronger than ten brawny men. As he hovered effortlessly in the air, he gazed about him, taking in his surroundings, scanning for danger. His eyes snagged on a demoness, one he had met days ago along with the idiot human. She was a potential threat. He didn't know her abilities, or the strength of her powers. And he had no intention on finding out. He then followed her gaze to the broken window. Interesting. Why did she not launch an attack? It did not matter. He had his own agenda.
Remiel climbed into the air, gaining several feet with every few beats. He did not stretch his wings out to the fullest, because he did not want to fly past his target and thereby give his prey warning to his presence. Drawing level with the window, he skirted it and hung just above it. There were quite a few beings within the room, and he would need to generate enough power with his staff to take them all out. He was no good in melee battles. He held out his staff, though he was careful not to let it get in sight of the prey. He murmured a few words.
"Grushdeva ost gruer..." he hissed malevolently. The emerald orb atop the staff suddenly started to glow brightly. Now all he needed to do was direct the destructive power within the staff, and all hell would be loosed.

Aysel accepted the food after giving it a good sniff and snatched it from her hand before retreating under a table to eat her scrap. She was not above accepting food - though she didn't technically need it to live. The demoness scowled as Dream knelt closer, she studied his face for a moment and tried to remember. It must have been a hell of a long time ago that he had seen her - last time she was on earth and that was eons ago.
She was about to ask just how, when and where he remembered her from when her sharp ears heard a voice at the window - and the spell was not a friendly one. Aysel hissed and loosed a powerful counter-curse out the window which even if it didn't hit the creature that was about to kill them all would distract it long enough for her to make her her escape.

Violet saw what Remiel was doing, how could she not when she'd been staring at the window so intently. Without really thinking she took off from the building she'd been perched on with one powerful bound, soaring straight for the window. Feeling a counter curse coming from inside the building she was forced to pull into a loop the loop that would have had any roller coaster enthusiast reaching for a sick bag. Eyes glittering dangerously she pulled up bare inches away from Remiel. "You can't kill them!" she yelled loudly, her grin wide and terrifying. Suddenly realising what she had just sat she added in a mutter, "Yet...you, you can't kill them yet..."

Talos let out an evil smirk as he saw so many flying people today. He could have found this place even if he were actually human. Some demon energies and he guessed one angel he couldn't tell from aura so he relied on his next best, their stench. "Demons, there too fragile to be demons, they fight amongst themselves. The human world must have made them malleable, dumb and blind." Taking out Bloodshed he waited watching.

Dream had not heard the spell being muttered by Remial, but Aysel's counter spell definately caught his attention. Obviously, she wouldn't protect them if she wasn't in danger as well, so the spell coming in must be fairly potent. That wasn't good. They had to leave, and fast. Really fast. Really, really, really fast. And he had absolutely no idea how to do it. Unless...
He turned to the group. "Does anyone know how to teleport, by any chance? If not, we've got to either set up a really powerfull defensive spell, or get out of here." With that, he focused his energies on creating a barrier of air around the entire room. This would prevent practically any type of physical attack, and some types of magic, but he didn't control types of magic that let him defend against most other magic. Only healing power would help, and odds are he would be using it.

Her eyes were drawn to the window at the same moment that Aysel's spell shot out of it. She stepped away from the counter and went to stand beside Dream. She hesitated for a moment, before speaking. "I can't teleport, but I can do protective spells, like barriers and things. They always work when protecting other people." Cautious of waitng for a response, Kihaku took a few steps closer to the window, before kneeling. Placing one small hand in front of her and the other behind her with the palm faceing the group, she stared intensly yet blankly out the window. She muttered a few choice words in a different language and closed her eyes as a thick, dark blue barrier began to surround everyone. When she was sure that everyone was entirely protected, she opened her eyes, which for the time being were completely black and cold, like a demons. She was breathing a little heavier than normal, but otherwise she was alright.

((god i gott work on getting on to post more. Is remiel the demon from befopre whp just kinda vanished?))
It had taken a mere few instants for Steffen to be upon the angelic couple. He very quickly ran through the male angel with cruel looking hooks that had seemed to spring forth from his now outstreached hands. The creature bellowed in pain and wobbily turn it's flight path to face the demon. He grinned, Ivory teeth shining as he did so.
"Pardon for my rudeness, but I can't let your kind live any longer...It's nothing person, I just despise your filthy race of winged vermin. You understand I'm sure."
The male shouted for the woman to flee, Her own angelic body suspended in the air by large white wings. Steffen began to laugh again, an activity he had picked up of late. Rushing forward, by closing his demonic wings ever so slightly, Steffen was launched at full speed into an attack. He drew his previously mutilated hand to the side and ripped the bandage from it, exposing the palms that his aura was now gathering. "Believe me, Your deaths will not bein in vain, You'll be serving a cause for the greater...well You'll be servig my cause very nicley." While the steeley haired demon had been talking and preparing his own attack, the anonomous male angel had drawn a shimmering bow and quickly notched an ornamented arrow, aiming for Steffen's heart. He waited a second... two seconds, then three as he took careful aim and released! Steffen wheeled up, his chest fully exposed. He gasped, red eyes shooting open in shock as the arrow closed in. There was no way for him to move out of the arrow range before it pierced his flesh. He suddenly became very aware of the burning sensation that was emmiting from the punishment he was ordered to carry. A pinkish toned hand snapped forward and grabbed the arrow in it's fixed flight to his body. The holy arrow burned into the flesh of his already damaged hand, a hand wich broke the arrow in pieces. He snarled, dropping he pieces to earth "Did you think I would let you kill me little cherub? And with a silly arrow no less?" Steffen dropped upon his prey now, eyeing the woman who was making an escape as he did so. "Pardon me... but you are keeping me from my business." He pressed his palm flat on to the arm of the angel and silently recieted a spell. The demon might as well have been hitting a sparrow with a shot gun by the way the angel's body glowed for a momentary second then exploded into a mist of blood and feathers. He regretted being unable to consume the blood that was now being wasted, but alas duty called. He muttered a series of spells, each one designed to create a barrier and hurled them before him and his newly designated prey. She crashed into the barrier, blind with fear, quivering as she realized what was coming. Her slender hands scrambled around the surface of the barrier, then moved as she would fly over lengths of the sky to find the break.
" Why not face me delicious one? There is no way for you to escape this time. " he slowed his pace, now only a few meters away. The angel did so, Her eyes moist and shining with the tears that threatened to come out. Light red hair fell in curls to her shoulders and beautiful green eyes sparked bedhind long eyelashes. Steffen was taken back for a half of a second, realizing just who it was he had been chasing. Oh how lucky he was that the fortunes and dark fate had smiled upon him today. "Dulcia, What are the chances that you would be the one I wanted..."
She shook, staring at the demon who had once been a sort of lover. breathe caught in her throat she whispered " What is it you want beast? I-I have no more business with you." She kept aloft in mid ari, clutching her robes to her now as he moved closer and closer.
" Oh a beast is it now? Let me tell you dear, how you ever came to be an angel is beyond me. You where a bad girl in life and just a bad girl now." Accentuating the phrase 'bad girl' he licked his bottom lip, staring hungrily at her. Steffen say the light that was shining from her, the light that he needed to extinguish. How ironic that he had figured out what that light was, had figured out why this particular angel had recieved such a light that she would break down the barrier of good on this earth. It was forgiveness, the forgiveness she had recieved when becoming romantically involved with him the first time. " Do you really think I would let you go so easily Delcia..." he whispered as he was now close enough to do so. She stopped shaking, staring at the demon. The Angel knew she was being tricked, knew that she was forbidden from ever interacting with a hellspawn as was the law of all angels, but there was something so alluring about Steffen. There was something about the way he spoke and the way he made you feel light headed.
"I meant what I said, beast...I am no longer in...no longer want y-" She began inching her way back from his reach. Before The angelic woman could do so Steffen viciously grabbed her arm and pulled her forward, locking his lips on hers. He savored the taste of the sweet angel, relished the fact her was destroying her future. Delcia on the other hand was just as swept up as she was the first time she had met Steffen. She was so convinved that he could not be all bad, so convinced that he could denounce his demonhood and become and angel...somehow. But most of all, it was a very unangel like desire that had filled her. Taking the aggressive role, she wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him deeper. If Steffen's mouth had not been previously engaged in activity he would have broken out into a devilish smile, so in stead he snaked his hand into the breast pocket her carried the angelic artifact in and dropped it to plummet to the ground. He pulled away from the kiss and exposed fangs now, mumbling over her flesh " You will never make it back into heaven this time." For Delcia, the world was about to go pitch black.

Liam watched as the demoness ate from the plate Leila had given her, watched as Dream addressed her. In a way he was glad that she'd be preoccupied, too busy to take interest in the glowing black cat in his arms. But when she had uttered that counter-spell, his head jerked to the broken window. He would've heard the spell in the first place if he hadn't been so intent on watching the demon girl, but it was a good thing she had heard it, even if she only used the spell to protect herself. Dream's barrier went up, but Liam's eyes were still fixed on the window, widening when another figure shown up. There was no mistake, his eyes widened and he stared directly at Dream. "Violet," he said in a low voice. Violet was there along with another demon. There was more than one threat this time, and Violet was a very big threat, especially to him. He looked down at Lucky in his arms and grimaced. 'Not good,' he thought, taking his scythe from his back and getting ready for any suprises.

Violet hissed as Dream's barrier was created, she'd been a little too close. Frowning softly Violet had to do some quick thinking. 'If that idiotic lord knew i just tried to stop this group being killed he'd have my head...but if the group know i tried to save them....' She groaned and pushed her head into her hands. She didn't even know why she'd gone to help them, which only seemed to give her a headache. Descending a little she looked through the window, trying to remain exspressionless as she checked everyone was alright.

Leila sighed heavily when all the commotion began, knowing that it was Violet simply from the evil she gave off. However, she didn't make a move to help the others with fending her and whoever else it was that was with her. She placed a forkful of food in her mouth, chewed and swallowed before turning her attention to the 'traitor'. "Come back to finish us off, Violet?" she said with no outward emotion.
