Starwhisker was sitting outside the nursery with her kits.
Tenderfoot! Where did you go? she thought. Her sister Tenderfoot had been here jest a minute ago.
She was worried about her hearing that a bear was in the forest.

Patchleaf walks in, holding Sorrelkit. "Tenderfoot is at Earthclan camp..." She meows through a mouthful of fur. "I didn't get to ask her why she went...She even brought one of her kits. I followed her, but had to come back because Sorrelkit followed me too." She puts Sorrelkit among the other three kits.

Starwhisker gave Patchleaf's ear a lick. "Oh, Thanks Patchleaf....." she mewed. StarClan keep them safe! she murmured to herself.
She looked down at her kits. "When Skystar gets back I need to talk to him about making these two apprentices! They are growing up fast!"

Snowheart looked at ehr kits playing this would be her last litter before she was an elder.In a moon or two it would be time to talk to Skystar about making her ktis apprentices.
