Charlotte let the waitress continue,before she left she cast a frightened eye over the crowd then hurried off to other customers.
the new bowl of fruit now on the table,charlotte nudged it towards Meir. A plump piece of mango resting almost meaningly on the top.
She wondered what Ray had said,then returned her look ack to Meir,stroking him gently again,so friendly and welcoming.
She leaned in a bit closer to Ray for a minuite.
do you think er...you could shw me how meir was summoned?
She whispered,hoping not be be rude. She imagined the spell or whatever it was would be fairly interesting to watch.

Meir made the odd purring sound again, instantly grabbing the mango to munch on. Ray watched him for a moment before glancing up to Charalotte. "I'm afraid I can't. Mage's are only allowed to summon one familiar unless the familiar dies or someone becomes unbonded. However, I've got the spell for it in my spellbook, if you're interested in getting your own."

"Mm...sounds like something Divi would do. Usually sweet-tempered but has a bad temper when pissed off." He finished off his drink and stood, moving to the door to open it for her. "After you, my dear."

Moments after Loki had left, Desiree made her way inside, the door tinkling lightly. She was bored out of her mind with no one to talk to. She hadn't been able to make new friends yet. Slipping to the counter, she ordered a latte and some sugar cookies, taking them to a small table to enjoy them.

Ray reached down to her hip and pulled up a large old-looking black leather book that had gold engravings on the cover and a gold lock clasp. She opened it up and flipped through the pages which contained spells of all kinds, images, descriptions, and material componites, all in different languages. Finding the summon familiar spell, she pulled out a spare piece of parchment, a quill, and ink, scribbling down the spell for her. "Here ya go. 'Tis all you need but it'll take a full night for the spell to complete itself after you go through the small spell ritual. I've written the instructions down. Oh, and you can summon just about anything. A bird, cat, mouse, even a penquin or fox. Pseudodragons would take a bit longer to get and you would have to have a certain amount of power to do so."

Emi ran behind some of the other customers, to avoid a scowling brad, who was stedily making his way toward her, the coffee still aparent on his face.
"Emi, come out come out were ever you are" he said in a sing song voice
"Eep!" she ducked behind some of the other people

Desiree glanced up at the boy and girl who looked as if they were playing a game. She shook her head lightly and returned her attention to her drink and small snack.

Desiree looked up at the boy and smiled a little. "Better than no siblings, eh? 'Least, I think so." She looked at the girl, wondering if they were twins or somthing since they looked the same age.

She was taken aback by it a little.
I never knew such a time existed,how long ago was it?
She finished off the last of her drink,taking to petting Meir instead.
lost for any conversation now she turned to an old favourite.
so..nice weather we're having?
She chuckled at the feeble attempt but sttof by it none the less.
