"Ya know, it's damn hard to stay focused with you people around..."
Kayako sighed and stared in a 'meh' way at all the little pictures of everyone on her screen. She payed close attention to the new boy, how he moved and reacted to things. The purple-haired girl wasn't all bite and no brains...once in a while she did in fact take time to figure things out.

Medri gave kayako a funny look. "Check your ears, I was talking Saveing Rain... It's called Stratagy. Try using it once and a while, it can do wonders for any fight even against greater numbers." Medri sighed, and then glanced over at the new kid. "Medri, computer wizard Extrordinare!"

"You guys are weird...." Kayako decided to join the randomness and set Senturi down a few yards away. Climbing outside, she jumped down to the ground and looked over at Reiku, still doing that weird reading thing she does.
"Well I'm Kayako....the red LFO's pilot is Asuka, and that weird guy not saying anything is Gray."

"he walked over to twilght pressing a botten the map of the compund they where gonna infelltrant poped up out of the right eye and it came up all orange." best bet is to just snipe out any klfs and anti aircraft machnes seruding the area so we can get in for the rescue." he looked at everone." and ya lets say I hacked a klf data before you destroyed it to get this infermasion." he laughed and then sat down looking at it him self."

The purple-haired girl just crossed her arms, not amused.
"Just so you know that doesn't impress me.....I've seen better."
Kayako started to walk around Senturi, checking for anything that may have taken damage. She always had a nasty way of never realizing when she got hit unless it was major, so she was being cautious now that there was a plan to start.
"Our best bet is moving in teams. Kanashisa could move in first with Medri blocking radar, then the rest of us could go. Unfortunatly, I'm not sure if it's a good idea to move so quickly....They'll be expecting that."

"you would not be able to beat them on your own... one one one Star.. well the main pilot to that BLack LFO and her Crew would seriously humble you.. Even you Kayako, cause they have a strong team of both an pyshical offence and a techonlogical offence. you would have to be alble to pilot and hack at my level to win." He grumbled... that was why Star was such an dangerous opponet, they have a very strong offence. "And I have no issue with me and kanashisa sneaking in first. We could get alook at the place rightn ow and find the defences to we know exactly what to hit."

Kayako pretended to continue checking her LFO, though there was nothing wrong with it. She just felt like staying busy, it kept her mind off of what poor Rain could be going through....it was enough trouble for her to stay calm, she didn't need those mental images.
"If they see you, radio us and we have to move away quickly. If we get spotted in range, that ship and probably more agents will be sent out after us. Maybe even Anemone....And you don't wanna see a fight between Senturi and theEND."

Mercury hovered lazily over the group, gliding slowly up and down on the Trapar waves. Gray closed his eyes, sensing a worried feeling...problably kayako; those drives they both had did wierd things.
Rain...the strange but calming girl who kayako had labled "a skyfish"-Why had she done it? Had she ultimately played out the Skyfish metaphor, and been swept away by the winds of fate? ...poetic, but useless conjecture.
Although, suddenly Gray, previously detached from the whole"let's-retreive-Rain" quest, Suddenly felt sympathetic. Since shaking his guilt of the Driver, he'd felt detached and aloof; sure, he ocasionaly sympathized with Kayako, but...
He'd gone too far the other way; only half-caring about anything that wasn't directly connected to him; that was still not what he should feel...
Gray looked down, his eyes distant.
"...."
What would the Old me would have done? What should I believe? Guilt, or total lack of it? or...
Gray realized the problem, suddenly.
Hope. He'd left it aside; stopped believing that the Driver could be removed, that all that was wrong could be fixed...
Even if Xellien had said so, a creeping cyncism in his head told him not to place false hope on that snake...
Suddenly, pity and understanding almost over welmed Gray; Rain's greivances where suddenly clear:
Wanting to be understood, wanting to touch a living world outside locked, ignorant doors....
But; had they ever axcepted her?
Now, Gray felt real guilt: he and kayako may have had some sort of bond, But what did Rain have?
Gray had hid in his cockpit, kayako had overlooked it....
This time, atonement was needed.
Sympathy and regret mixed as Gray continued to recall the events; Rain had always been left outside, Alone...
Gray mentaly promised to chnage that if he could ever get the smallest chance--
w-What...!?
Gray's visor suddenly began to haze, a KLF apearing out of nowhere; dead ahead.
"haa?! Take this-!!"
Mercury shot forward, and attacked...empty air?!?
nothing.
The KLF was suddenly gone; and...
Two more of them!? Now, a pair danced into view to the side of Gray's vison, then the one in front of him, then nothing-
What the Heck? D-dangit...I'm seeing things-
Mercury Suddenly fell out of it's smooth flight pattern over the others on the ground below; the silver Archetype began to weave drunkenly, stapping thin air with it's knives as more phantoms flashed into Gray's vison.
"G-get AWAY!--"

And then that good 'ole down home feeling known as 'Oh s**t'....
"DAMNIT!! What is he doing?? Stop DOING THINGS!!"
Sudden sense of impending doom, coupled with confusion, mixed with annoyance, shaken up and poured in a martini glass known as Kayako's mind. The boy was doing things, again! Whenever he did things, it was trouble. Of course, they all asked him to do things, so in the end they really should be expecting things like this by now. But even still, the amber-eyed girl jumped into her LFO getting that sneaking suspicion that this was gonna get weird, really fast.
'Feh, it's not a suspicion, I know it!' the purple-haired psycho fiddled with buttons, launching back into the sky to incure her wrath upon the blue-haired one.
She immediatly wrapped Senturi's chains around the middle of the silver mech, just because she wasn't in the mood for games. "Gray, for the love of grapefruit what are you doing?? This is not the time for combat practice, we're supposed to be planning! Now what is the matter, and don't lie!"
((I'm..so PROUD!! He...he aknowleged someone who wasn't Kayako!!)))

Gray barely noticed a black shape rise from the ground; more delusional enemies dancing about his LFO, Mysteriously flashing in and out of existance as he swiped at them. more bizzare was taht this nighmare zone was rapidly turning a shade of purple-blue; the sky shifting to this color as the hulucinations worsened.
Part of Gray was paniced, out of his controll, as if he'd split personalities:
the other half of him was screaming that this couldn't be happening, off course it was fake....!
Unfortunately, the crazed side had better controll of his motor functions.
The illusion got even worse:
A cracking sound reached gray's ears:
Mercury's right forearm seemingly grew cracks out of nowhere, mysteriously self-damaging it's shining armor into a patchwork of cracks and missing chunks of the superstructure...
"No! Mercury! w-what's going on-!?"
The arm sudenly snapped off; a splintered haze of blood, cables, and broken armor.
Gray's own arm burned like fire; dredging up a scream.
"AAAAAH!!"
Flash!
The arm was whole, intact...the sky was normal...
Flash!
The KLFs! the arm was in shreds, the sky was tinted weird-
Flash!
Flash!
Flash!
"STOP IT-!!"
Gray screamed at the kalidescope of wild, fluxing images....
Mercury spiraled, dangerously close to crashing...

(((.....You've been watching Eva again, haven't you? That ep where poor Rei gets her arm shreded be an Angel....yes you heard right folks. Someone who loves Eva AND E7, and screw the little douches who say it copies...)))
"CUT IT OUT!!"
Senturi's chains retracted and launched again, trying to get ahold of him. The damn boy and his mech moved like a raver at a party, erractically and with no real order. Kayako finally said to hell with him and flew forwards, grabbing onto Mercury's arms with her own LFO.
"Listen to me, idiot! Don't make me come in there again, because I will! And this time it'll be you I punch!"
She was mad now, who knows what kind of crafts were in the area. If they caught sight of this flipping around, there would be hell to pay. An attack now would be costley and probably just plain wrong...although giving the boy something real to fight could work....And from that an idea formed.
"You have to the count of three, and then I punch you!"
Kayako logic. Something many a poor sap only wishes he could comprehend....
