Of course I know what it means, but it's used differently everywhere.. For example, there is a RPG I'm in, and a girl had to leave.. She said "You can NPC out my character if you'd like." Now, this means that she's saying that people are free to use her character. Am I not right to be confused? And plus..all lead characters are NPCs..isn't that obvious anyway?

I'm guessing she meant so her character would be out of the game, either until she returned or for good. But you’re allowed to be confused, I never objected to that. I was only trying to explain it to you better. And I just like having the main "Hero" an NPC under my control, because I know where the RP will be heading. If you wish to join, I'd be more than happy to allow you to. The main idea of the story is the "PCs" must either join the main character to fulfill the final objective, or they may oppose the main character, by there own means or by joining the opposing side.

I'm guessing that she meant others could just play as the character, because they did.. Two people have, in fact, played as her.. Anyways, I'm quite aware of the aim of the game, but I'm still wondering wether I should enter or not..I suppose I might; it does seem to be an interesting game..I'm just thinking of what kind of a character I may choose..

I'd like to point something out, though..how can we desire to start at a certain location if we don't even have the world map or at least the descriptions of the lands?

Proginoskes I'd like to point something out, though..how can we desire to start at a certain location if we don't even have the world map or at least the descriptions of the lands? It means like in a war perhaps? Or a ramen shop, if you however do not, post anything you'll receive one. After you send your character profile, I will send you your "Start" almost like a background thing to help you along.

..I have another question...Are the abilities and skills like the ones that you have to have in D&D? If not, what's the difference between them?

Proginoskes ..I have another question...Are the abilities and skills like the ones that you have to have in D&D? If not, what's the difference between them? As I said once before, think along the lines of Japanese folk lore. Like "the ability to float like a sakura blossom" or "The power to harness the wind," "Un imaginable speed." Any of those follow the story line, just be creative.
