Nihilistic_Impact Of course, though I post more then I lurk. Here at least, other sites I lurk a lot, but I'd rather rp a story line then just fight. I would love to have a rp with political intrigue. THe conflict could be alleged corruption with in the arena. But I don't know if I want a direct storyline for my first fights. I mean I've already devolped a little bit, but that's just for entertainment and has absolutely no detrimental effect on the overall basis of my fighting. I just want this to be a test of skill against others. And thank god, there's only five more slots to fill in the O/M bracket.

@Nilly: In canon...Deity hasn't fought since about Halloween. < < Out of canon...he's fought a lot, mostly as Fierce. It's helped that character evolve a bit in how he reacts to people, attacks, and his surroundings...which is good.
...Deity RPs all th'time, tho'....his character is usually emoing it up whenever he is around...that, or being attacked by Angel. > <;;

Nihilistic_Impact Yes, I am very much a Lovecraft fan. Hence why Vercellius is a servant to Nyralathotep, has a shoggoth that resides in his mind untill he lets it lose to mutate and warp his body, and Ithaqua the Wind Walker as a bound slave to his will. I detest reading books, it's a wonder that I even enjoy doing this. But I've got this hell bent thing on control. If I can't change the effects on my own in the story then it just doesnt' FEEL real to me. Roleplaying is the closest thing to fantastic reality I've ever came across, nothing could ever reproduce it.

You'll only rarely catch me condeming any book, a Seperate Piece and to Kill a Mocking Bird, other wise I have over two hundred of my own books.

...actually, come t'think of it, most of Deity's fighting has been canon, but in flashback-form. So...disregard most of that...

There could be others. I just haven't found them as of yet. This colosseum doesn't have the sorts of political nuiances as Rome's simply because there's no sort of modernized views on twisted morality.
