what's a gumption? Eh, it's more or less an older term (from the days of your grandparents or great-grandparents) that generally means willingness to do something. Kind of like what drive means now. So saying you're trying to work up the gumption to do something is the same as saying you're trying to work up the drive to do something. Edit: Eh, close enough. Google translates it as "shrewd or spirited initiative and resourcefulness," but honestly, I haven't seen it used much in the resourcefulness aspect.

i just....i just couldn't help it.
the cause of the message was over the stupidest thing that would have just faded into nothingness if the fire wasn't stoked.
oh....oh, my sides....
some people crack me up with what they choose to focus on.
and, for the dignity of the sender, i will not be revealing who they are or what they sent me.
and, i would hope the sender would do the same to avoid any drama.
anyway, now that I've nearly died of laughter and am too cheerful to message them back.
is anyone interested in role playing with avonlea?
she's heading to pallet town now.
she'll mostly be focused on getting to pewter so she can challenge brock for her first gym, but....

I have never been so mad as I was yesterday. This old guy was making rude comments about people who use WIC and EBT and I don't mind this. But he was wrong, because most of my customers NEED it... Anyway... So, As I'm bagging his items, he tells his wife not to help me because.... "We will wait for that big strong man over there to come help her, since she's unable to keep up." OH I WANTED TO......
