I think I know, I mean I "Yes" but it's all wrong...
"I wouldn't put it that way. I'd say..." He searched for the right words. "I took the most direct route." He grinned, and took a rather defensive stance. "Ready?"

Amnity was a bit hesitant, then she nodded. She got into a fighting stance as well. "Ready when you are love."

Psychedelic...
I think I know, I mean I "Yes" but it's all wrong...
Mephlius' stance suddenly changed. His movements became flowing, and graceful. They were chaotic, and in all directions, but he still remained very centered. But that center was swaying. And he wasn't even attacking yet. It was his classic stance, and Amnity's worst nightmare. The Drunken Fist. Mephlius stumbled a few steps forward, then broke into an all out sprint. A few feet away, he front flipped over her. It would appear as though he would land, and sweep the feet. But he shifted in mid-air, and instead attempted to punch her between the shoulder blades.

Amnity frowned, then swore. The drunken fist, she hated that fighting style. She'd always lose to it, that's why. She knew that the attacks and his movements were going to be unpredictable, that's why she kept her guard up more then usual. Amnity quickly blocked the punch that he threw to her. After that she turned and kicked out a strong spin at his shoulder.

Mephlius landed on his hands, then sprung off, dodging her kick. He flipped through the air, and rolled with the landing. As he rolled, he turned around. He stood up, stumbling a bit. "Good kick..." He said, with a bit of a slur.

Amnity smiled a bit. "...Thank you." She deepened her fighting stance, waiting. If she switched to offense, there was a good chance that she may end up on the ground in the same second.

Mephlius grinned. If she's not going to attack... He charged at her. A good distance away, he leaned forward, and began walking on his hands. He walked a few "steps" forward. He then took a larger walk with one hand, making him perpendicular to her. He leaned, and did a cartwheel. But he didn't stop. He kept going, bring his foot down towards her head.

Amnity actually dropped her guard for a second in shock. Oh God what is he going to do? She sidestepped his downward kick. She was close enough to him to just straight up tackle him to the ground, which is basically what she tried to do.

Mephlius smiled. As soon as she blocked the first kick, he brought his free leg around, and kicked at her shoulder. She would be far to focused on tackling him, and would hopefully be knocked back.

Amnity was focused on something else too. Her lycan abilities. She could feel the adrenaline coursing through her body, her strength and senses rising significantly. Her already quick human speed was overpowered by her incredible werewolf speed and reflexes. She ducked under his second kick as if it were nothing. She thought about maybe throwing a punch or a kick back...Nah. It was like she was spring loaded. Amnity pounced on him, covering the short distance in a fraction of a second.

Mephlius continued the momentum, landing lying on his back on the ground. he rolled sideways under her pounce, and stood up. "You're using your lycan abilities, aren't you?" He sighed, and closed his eyes. His adrenaline surged through his body in a second. He took a few steps back, each one stumbling more than the last. He steadied himself, still swaying a bit, as resumed his stance. Even in his clumsy, drunk stance, he was still noticeably stronger.

Amnity quickly rolled and got to her feet, then growled involuntarily. Immediately she knew that she was already losing her grip on her control. No...Calm down. She took a deep breathe, trying to level her breathing. Her eye color darkened significantly, turning from a scarlet red to a deep maroon color. Keep it together...Don't lose your head. She got into a fighting stance again, gritting her teeth a bit, waiting.
