Finally they had gone through the rough patch and Mel'ae got to enjoy what little of the coaster ride had remained on the track. She was a little bruised and rubbed at her neck with a hiss of pain. It hadn't been fun but she had made it at least. Maybe the swings would be nicer.

At first glance she could tell but she did it anyways. Mel'ae grabbed the chain of one of the swings only to have it snap. The surprise made her jump back and she fell on the platform hard. Gritting her teeth she got up and smiled through the pain. It could have been worse after all.

So close and yet so far. She'd managed to move over a few but fell off because of poor footing. Yelping as she fell into the pile underneath her she sighed heavily. Now the swings too?

It took a lot longer than she was used to but she managed to finally find safe passage across while swinging from swing to swing. This was the part she liked and she smiled as she moved from one to the other like a trapeze. Landing on the other side she began to skip towards the next destination.

Overhead the creaking of the old building had picked up and it moaned angrily as she entered it. Disheveled and chaotic surely but Mel'ae moved a few steps in regardless, checking the floor for good footing first before moving across onto it. The young girl wasn't going to be taking any chances and get lost under the floorboards or some other such nonsense.

Slowly but carefully she stepped quite a few times, smiling only a little at the fact she managed to go so far without incident. But again the floor groaned at her as she was finally making her way so smoothly. Eventually she had to stop again.

So close but she hit a roadblock, literally. One of the many displays had fallen and she had to make two hops to cross it but stopped when she felt it move slightly. It was almost in reach too.

Mel'ae came across it and stopped as she looked down at the orb. Alone and forgotten in a broken paradise of rides and games - she felt rather sad for it here. But this is why she was here for it, wasn't it? Swooping down she scooped it up and stared at it with wide eyes. This felt right, like it had before and the time again after. She held it against her and closed her eyes.
The world shifted around her and she opened them again, standing at the entrance to Plaza Park. How she wished should could have seen it open, but that might be for a another time. With blessing filling her heart further her heart seemed to flutter happily as she walked back into the fog, waiting where her getting lost would take her.
