Mm. I really love playing the child/monster dynamic. I agree that a larger pool of characters in one given "world" would increase the variables and make it more interesting. That's why I am again looking for a third (and maybe even a fourth, given there is anyone compatible) character for Malkuth's estate. With just master and one slave it's nothing but fluffy "please, daughter"s and "yes father"s and that gets boring real fast. But, as you said, the pace of the RP is then at the mercy of the slowest participant. And planning things becomes a little more difficult cuz you can't have a three way PM. But revolving who gets 2x2 time in a three way or swapping interactions between four people really does add more ingredients to the pot for a tastier soup in the end, you know? What to dooooo with all those many years of life is a reason why I don't like playing extremely old people. I just write them as spending the first like, half of their lives doing uninterested, broad-stroke things. Then I pick up with only a fraction of their life to actually explain. My oldest RP character, aside from that very long lived couple, is in his 50s. And he sure does have a story for all them years! Playing middle-aged folk is very uncommon. What situation did you have a character in their sixties? Ah! I forgot to also say that I gravitate towards human characters. Most of my usual pick of characters are human. Even the fantasy ones have human versions. I have a big bias towards picking human characters as my RP buddies.

Hnnnnnng. Man, oh man! Hollow is my go-to for lighthearted, platonic monster. He's tied up in Saphire's guild, but I believe I have Hollow here, too, and he's free. Any ideas how you would spin a yarn out of this in a slave/master context? He's not exactly something a parent needing a sitter would look for, you know?

Oh goodie! Um, I'm thinking Callie is accompanying her father in a business trip to the hotel because she begged and begged and begged to come along, and while they're there she slips away and ends up in Hollow's room, and when they finally find her she refuses to leave without him. "No, he's nice and I want him to come. NO!" *cue temper tantrum* And her Dad finally just says "Fine, I'll buy him for you. Now hurry up, you've already made me late for my next meeting."

That is a fantastic idea. A kid is small and slippery enough to get past any guards undetected. And maybe his door isn't locked or only the inside is locked or something. Go make her profile!

Hey Mally, if you could delete/archive Madeline for me, that'd be amazing. I don't think anything's going to happen with her, and I'd like her out of the way so that I can put in new characters with a clear conscience. Also, not super pleased with how I adapted her for this guild, so I don't really want to play her anymore.

Done and done. Apparently when I am coming off of anesthesia I become quite a cranky potty-mouth. While a nurse was trying to give me care instructions I just kept cursing like a sailor. Then in the car rise home I recited Poe poetry. And I don't remember doing any of this.

A bit better... Still hurts, but I can tolerate it without painkillers at last. I strapped ice packs to each cheek with a bandanna. I look ridiculous but it feels greaaaat.
