You're right. Fighting is just a part. If I didn't believe that I wouldn't open ORPs where I go cut down trees and take chairs from abandoned buildings. On the subject of people getting super powers in three weeks of being here I can understand. Maybe we should introduce a system where you properly start as Menos. However Gillian make poor characters as they're all just great big black guys in masks. I think if we were going to make a starting point it'd have to be Aduchjas. Normal hollow is too early and requires a massive time investment.
As for people who don't care about the Vasto Lorde form I think your strategy is the right one but a flawed one. Not everyone is going to look at hollow facts sheet because it won't apply to them. Not everyone goes in the information archives either. I for one know I only go there to pick up character sheets. The real point is people will read your rank before your form though. It doesn't matter how ignorant they are that's usually used as the first indication of power.
The strategy should be to beat in the information to look at Hollow Rank before Formal Rank as a show of power.
I think you've given me a good idea though. We could force anyone who wishes to play a Vasto Lorde Arrancar to spend some time as a Menos. As STOCKFISCH said Aduchjas make up the big section of the Arrancar population. Very few people are going to want to play Gillian class Arrancar because they turn out very strangely to say the least.
In fact Aduchjas would probably be a decent starting point. I'm against Gillian simply because they're nearby just clusters of souls and haven't really got a personality yet just a strong driving force from one soul.

I didn't think about the helping people as I know what to do though. I consider that as part of my job and I know that if I don't jump in someone else will for me later.
I'm actually quite threatened by your Arrancar in terms of combat potential you know. I think by focusing on hand to hand combat and Ceros you've got something nasty there.
Like jet propelled attacks with elbow ceros.
