Mina would walk into the room to look around to see a battle in place. She could smell failure and weakness in the air. She held a pokeball in her hand thinking of what she would do. She was not sure if she should call out the pokemon yet or not. She would step forward towards the battle field. "Hello? I am here for my entrance battle exam..." She would speak little as she moved up. She would hold the ball in her hands waiting for a response to her.

"Welcome."
A voice would seem to chuckle at her.
"So, you already know why you are here, so I guess, I should simply ask you a question....do you want the tutorials, or do you want to simply battle. Both give the same results."
The voice would laugh as it spoke each word to her ..making it a bit hard to follow.

Mina would look down thinking. She didn't hear the chuckling just a voice talking to her. She would close her eyes and take in a deep breath. 'What should I do.. test my real skills or.. go the easy route.. no I didnt come here to take the easy way.' She would look up opening her eyes "I will simply battle" She would toss up the pokeball letting out Terra her only pokemon.Terra Hippopotas/F lvl:2/Adamant Hp: 15 Pp: 16 Att: 8 Def: 8 Spd: 6 p Att: 6 Sp Def: 7 Moves: Tackle, Stock-pile Exp: 0/100

A sound like something being released would suddenly pop as a reddish light would reform on the field. A pokemon that is easily recognized by every trainer in the world would appear as she would life her tail up and down and then move it from one side to another before stretching.
It had been a while since she was let out of her pokeball.
Her ears would raise up and down with a happy look on her face.
Then she would curl her tail around her flank ....as a big smile would appear on her face. She would nibble her nose a bit as her black eyes would shine in pleasure.
Then it would appear at their feet ....the final signal of this battle beginning.
"Have your pokemon drink that potion and we will be ready to start." "Fastest pokemon attack first."
The voice would declare as the fur on the pokemon's body would stand up a bit.

Mina would bend down picking up the potion looking it over before she handed it over to her ground hippo pokemon. She would look at the Pikachu smiling. She had a slight advantage but even an electric type could beat a ground type if it knew moves other than electric.The Hippopotas would drink the potion given to her by the human who she called partner. She would then stop on the ground taking up a defensive stance. Her eyes locking on the Pikachu.'May the better pokemon win, may this be a glorious battle.'Mina would know that the Pikachu was faster than her pokemon as she thought first of deffense "Okay Terra watches its move and be ready to fight when its time for our move."Terra would nod keeping her guard up and watching the pokemon with intrest.

The pikachu would flick it's tail from one side to the other .....as she saw his stance and knew that they understood the rules of battle.
(Well, let's find out which is what ...huh?)
The Pikachu would bound over to her ...as she walks with her paws behind her. A power would stir behind her ...as she would produce it to her ...a beautiful box ..befitting of this time of the year ...as she smiles and wiggles her tail.
(A gift to start off the battle)
She would declare with a smile as she places it at the pokemon's feet and literally takes off at a run. She had used the move Present

Mina would look at the box knowing as the move present, it could heal as well as hurt so she bit her lip wondering what would happen if Terra opened it. She would watch waiting for it to happen.Terra would loo at the box with little intrest but she was not rude even in battle. She would pull it closer and open the lid to look inside as she knew one of two things could happen. Either she would get hurt or she would get a gift of health."Be careful Terra, ready to use a tackle attack if that is a bad present" She wasnt much of a tactician but she would do her best to hold out and try to win if at all possible.Terra peered into the box looking at it. As she listened to her trainers orders. She stamped her hindlegs readying a tackle attack for after this present.

The Pikachu's present would explode, but it would be sparkles and healing light that washed over her. The pokemon's luck was truly good ...as the pokemon would start forward as she jumps away quickly. Her luck had been bad, and she hoped that it would be better than the incoming pokemon's tackle.
(Just so we are clear, that 10 is your attack roll)

(Oh okay I will and yes I knew the ten would be my attack roll madam) Mina would watch as the tackle attack would come. Terra charging at the yellow mouse but the Pikachu's speed would be just enough for the tackle would barely miss. The Hippopotas would go under the Pikachu as she jumped.Terra would push down with her forelegs and skidded to a stop when she felt herself go under the Pikachu. She would turn and run back to her trainer and take up another defensive stance watching the Pikachu with slitted eyes."We'll get her next time girl for now just focus on not getting hurt or hit" She would command and her pokemon nodded

It was with a roll that the Pikachu hit the floor on all four, a smile was on her face as she watches the pokemon's defensive stance as she would sit back on her haunches and hold up her paw.
Three little fingers would be present there as she drops one, then two, and only on the count of three that they might see it on the back of the pokemon. Press against her back was a box the exact same coloration as the pokemon.
This was a camoflague attack.

Mina blinked as she lost sight of the Pikachu. She would look straight at the box confused slightly "Its got.. to be there at the box, but where.." She looked at Terra seeing she was confused too.Terra would look at the box with her eyes. She looked for the slightest movement the slightest twitch. She would look back at her trainer quickly waiting for the order."Terra use tackle on the box..." She prayed the Pikachu would still be at the box hoping to catch it in a tackle.Terra would look at the box then sighed. Was her trainer serious, okay, she thought as she charged the box.

A pokemon showed up,a buizel which Theo figured to be his opponent. A water type, a disadvantage battle. It makes sense for a test to fight with disadvantage, beside Midnight know more than fire attack. other than that, the suspicious liquid, to make my pokemon drunk something of unknown substance or effect, is this a test too? He pondered as he took the liquid. Midnight sniffed at it and flinched back, making Theo to coo it to drink it.
"Alright,Midnight.Time for battle. Give me everything you have" he said to the litwick as it hop down from his shoulder to face the smug looking buizel. His trainer depended on him to win this battle as it is important to him to win this. This thought gave Midnight courage to stand and face its opponent.

(Either would have worked, because, my attack is first ...that makes your next post a defensive one. Let's ignore that dice roll for now.) The buizel waited until the potion vanished down the pokemon's mouth and before the trainer was ready ....as the Litwick was let down from his shoulder ....he would come forward swiftly. He was afterall faster than some stupid fire type ....as his tails would whirl behind him in excitement ....as he would jump for the Litwick and in midleap do a spin around that would send his double tails going for his head .....as they harden instantly with a metal coating around them, Iron Tail.

The buizel charged before Theo finished talking. Taken by surprise and no chance to dodge or react,it landed a direct hit. "Wick!?" Midnight exclaimed in surprise as his head was bashed with iron tail. "Midnight,use astonish" Theo issued his command as ember won't do much damage to water type. Thankfully Steel type attack didn't do much damage to fire type and Midnight recovered quite fast. Forcefully making the attack to bounce off as it recovered,Midnight quickly fade itself into ghostly state and reappeared beside the buizel, 'liiiiitwiiick" a chilling sound could be heard.
