Nyx muttered to herself as she continued her work to reestablish all the threads that her dear sister cut. "...And... there." She made a motion to lift these invisible threads, and all those who were unconscious on the beach opened their eyes and stood in unison. "Perfect." She said, smiling that same smug, dominant smile. "Come to me." She whispered, and everyone under her control on the island would march thoughtlessly towards her, in the same way, as if marching to the same unheard beat.
"...Ah, and there's another." Hiyori would see a pink portal open beneath her, and she'd immediately fall through, landing down on the ground next to Nyx on her hands and knees. "It's so sweet you chose to stay with me..." Nyx said down to her, crouching down next to her, that expression not changing as she looked down to her. "See, you can deny our connection all you like, but actions speak louder than words, my love..." She said, standing and lifting her arm, causing Hiyori to float up to her feet next to her. "...Now... since you're here..." All those under her control now stood around them, forming a perfectly uniform semicircle. "Would you like to accompany us?" She asked, waving her arm and opening a large pink portal, crackling with energy. Hiyori might get the feeling, though, that... she didn't really have a choice in the matter. (( OOC: ))

Annette fell into a moment of silence as she listened to Minerva explain the details even she didn't know about Nyx and her abilities. Really, she didn't know a whole lot about her, she wasn't exactly the most comfortable person to hang out with anytime any of them were together growing up. It seemed for now, she didn't have much to say, instead, she would try to put together everything she said, and maybe brainstorm idea's, if anything on what she knew now. The likely hood of coming up with anything that might help though, was pretty much next to zero.
When Autumn felt herself unable to move, just at the moment she was starting to create her exit, her eyes shot to Minerva. "...!! " ....That anger in her eyes however, became much more short lived then ever before.It wasn't like she wanted to be another puppet, and especially not one of her own sisters, gods, would that be humiliating. But she did want to save Astrid..
Autumn clearly wasn't having an easy time holding back on this one, but at the same time, even she knew what her sister said was true. "...I--hope you're right.." She sighed heavily, looking at her where she sat. Had the magic worn off that was keeping her from teleporting away, she would slowly..very..slowly, start to walk towards her, and eventually found her place there, stting next to her. "...You're still annoying...but....i'm glad..you're okay too...hmph..! " She quickly looked away, as if trying to be nice to her older sister was such a terrible, horrible thing! She could never admit it, but the fact that she was sitting there next to her was a pretty good way of her showing she did care, despite how their relationship seemed!
"..?! EEee! " Well, that was not the most normal scream in the world, suddenly dropping into a pink portal she just barely noticed, and clearly wasn't quick enough to avoid. In the next moment, she was dropping from the air, and onto the ground. There she found herself in the most awkward position, not one befitting of Hiyori's high standards. "...Don't flatter yourself.." She said quietly, it was no surprise, was it? "Deny..Deny...Hmph..If you want to be 'my love' you aren't going in the right direction to earn that privilege'.." She said dully at her! "...! " Gods, this was getting embarrassing, her magical hold 'helping' her up was so uncomfortable. ..But not quite as uncomfortable as the scene before her, and all around her. Even she had to take a moment to look...at all she had managed to dominate the minds of. Her eyes would find their way to her parents quite easily, bringing a soft sigh to her. "Obvously, as if I had a choice? "

Aeon "...Haven't you learned your lesson? You're my b***h." Aeon said dully to the king who faced him, who he had dominated the last two times they had fought."You did defeat me--when Carmen had cursed me. You have yet to defeat me fairly. The fact of the matter is--I don't pick fights I can't win." Ephraim wasn't about to let this loss go unchallenged, especially when he knew he was the better warrior. And with his wife L'Arachel watching, he had every intention to give her a show to remember."Any fight you pick with me is one you'll lose.""Then you should have no problem proving it."Aeon sighed, rolling his eye. "Whatever, I'll put you back on your knees if that's what you want so badly." Ephraim opened his mouth to respond, but Aeon didn't seem very interested in dragging this out--as he was quick to go on the offensive! Dashing forward, he went to deliver a harsh knee to Ephraim's gut, then slamming his elbow on his back had that succeeded, intent on putting him straight down into a more helpless position--a more pathetic position in front of the princess he intended to impress! Is everyone ready? We're going to win." Ephraim was caught off-guard as the Reaper charged him, but thankfully Carmen's hex was gone, so his reflexes were no longer dulled. Though Aeon's knee connected to his gut, Ephraim was able to brace himself enough to not have the wind knocked out of him even with the pain of the Reaper's strength, and was quicker to react. Ephraim grabbed Aeon's leg in response, turning and flipping him over using that leg to plant the Reaper on his back in the sand. Dropping over him while attempting to slam his forearm into Aeon's chin to disorient him, he would attempt to grab his arm, twisting it while flipping the Reaper to his front and wrenching the arm behind his back, hopefully at the very least making his arm weaker for this battle. But with any luck, he could end this relatively quickly if Aeon couldn't counter him! (( OOC: ))

  Phoenix was SUCH a victim, having to stand there and watch two really amazing guys fight over her. Was she supposed to be smirking while watching them bicker? Much as they have done many times during their little time here on the island! "He,he..They are like moths to the flame, aren't they Phoenix? " Athena, who was standing along side Phoenix playfully joked, giggling as if her little pun was the funniest thing she might ever of said! It wasn't often she got to make Phoenix jokes! "....You must have waited for that line for a while.." Phoenix rolled her eyes, though if she was so good at hearing, and the likely hood with those big pointy ears was, she probably had no problem hearing the small laugh Phoenix tried to hide.
Though it was Phoenix's ears to pick up something that would draw her attention back to Ephraim, and create a tinge of red to creep at her cheeks. "...Feelings? ..." Did he really mean that? Since when did Ephraim have feelings for her? Sure, they got along great, and had quite the interesting moments in their time in this world, but it never really crossed her mind that he had real, actual feelings for her. Well! Now she was in a real heap of trouble! While she had those moments with Ephraim, she also had even more with the rude Reaper there, and also feelings for him. He was a child hood friend, after all! She had a deeper connection with Aeon because of that." Ahh..o-of course you would only say something like that in the heat of a battle..! "
She would have time to process Ephraim's confession, as the two went on their little game of battle, but not just any battle, apparently. A battle to win Phoenix's heart!

AeonAeon was mildly surprised when Ephraim reacted so quickly--he supposed he shouldn't be. With all the things he had heard about this man as a warrior, he found his performance in their last duel disappointing--he folded before the better man like a house of cards. But knowing now he had been hexed at the time, this was a lot more like what he may have been expecting. ...For now, at least. He still expected the king to be kneeling soon, but he would see if he at least provided a little entertainment first. He hit the sand, but was very quick to roll to the side, narrowly dodging Ephraim's attempted follow-up and rolling out of the way before he could get over him. He reached out, intending to grip Ephraim by the back of his hair before the king could get back up, and shove his face down into the sand. Quickly rolling onto his back if this succeeded, he'd use his grip to rub his face into the sand as his other hand grabbed Ephraim's arm, intending to pull it behind him, and had that worked, he'd release his hair only to attempt to grab his other arm and force it behind him as well, intending to bind his wrists together behind his back! (Aeon must roll at least a 7 to succeed. If he does, he will attack with advantage and Ephraim will attack with disadvantage until Ephraim removes the binds, if he can. If he rolls below a 7, though, Ephraim will attack with advantage in his next roll!)(( OOC: ))

Is everyone ready? We're going to win."Aeon was quicker than he expected, to be able to so quickly and nimbly evade Ephraim's follow-up. And Ephraim was reminded of that strength of his as he was forced face-first down into the sand. This brought back unpleasant memories of their other duels--both of them! As Aeon rubbed his face in the sand, Ephraim's attention was quick to snap to what he was attempting to do. And though Aeon had incredible strength, there was something he didn't have--incredible size. Ephraim and Aeon were similarly toned, but Aeon was certainly noticeably shorter. Though even if he wasn't, Ephraim had managed much more impressive feats of strength before, and Aeon would likely be thrown off-guard as Ephraim forced himself up out of the sand, quite swiftly too! His strength was on display here, and he was quick to reach back, grabbing Aeon by HIS hair and flipping him over the king and slamming him into the sand in front of him. Had that all worked as planned, Ephraim would stand tall, before leaning down, grabbing the hopefully dazed Aeon by his ankle, turning, and THROWING him quite a distance across the beach! Had it gone as planned, Aeon would land with a grunt and roll to a stop right at the feet of their onlookers, L'Arachel, Phoenix, and Athena. Was Ephraim perhaps showing off? Perhaps a little! "Usually taking out the trash is a little more difficult..." He remarked with a small smirk, brushing his hands together as if to taunt him, like the battle was already over! (Ephraim rolls with advantage! Roll two dice, use the highest result.)(( OOC: ))

AeonWell, this guy was stronger than Aeon realized. Lifting himself up while Aeon straddled his back was impressive enough--not like Aeon could finish his task like that, and he was too off-guard by it to stop him from flipping him off. But as he was hurled across the beach, THAT was when he had to at least give the man some credit. That was some impressive strength, and he did that even though he could've had a better follow-up, as if just to taunt him. That seemed like something Aeon himself would do, so he almost had to respect it, if it didn't piss him off so much. "Ugh..." He let out, forcing himself back up. "I am going to break this loser beneath my shoe..." He muttered in irritation. Getting to his feet, he stepped towards Ephraim, throwing out his arm--and suddenly, a crimson tendril of magic shot out of his hand, flying out with the intent to wrap itself around Ephraim's neck. Yanking on the makeshift leash, he intended to pull Ephraim aggressively towards him, reaching out to grip him by the throat had it gone as planned, turning lifting him to slam his back down into the sand. With how close they were to their onlookers, it gave him a perfect opportunity--planting his shoe down onto Ephraim's chest so firmly it packed quite the impact! Had it all gone as planned, he'd look Phoenix directly in the eyes. "Hope you enjoy watching me dominate this b***h." It seemed Ephraim wasn't the only one who could appeal to the crowd! (Aeon attacks recklessly! Roll with advantage, but if he rolls below a 5 with both dice, Ephraim will roll with advantage next!)(( OOC: ))

We're going to win."Ephraim couldn't have really predicted that magic of his--it seemed Alisa wasn't the only one with some magical talent in the family, though his was a lot less expansive than hers. "Guh!" He let out as he stumbled forward, and was lifted and planted down into the sand beneath Aeon. Before Aeon could complete his plan though, Ephraim grabbed Aeon's arm before he could stand back up, rolling to the side and tossing Aeon across the sand, quickly back to his feet before delivering an elbow across Aeon's cheek. Intending to capitalize on that hopefully disorienting him, he'd reach out, grabbing his adversary and lifting him all the way over his head, once again displaying his incredible strength with the ease he did this--and slamming him right back down into the sand! As much as one can slam into sand, at any rate.(( OOC: ))

AeonThis man was really getting on his nerves--if he could just sit still for five seconds! He much preferred him hexed. He had so much slower reactions, and less strength. Come to think of it, that was a very potent hex, wasn't it? The elbow managed to get him vulnerable enough for Ephraim to lift him so effortlessly. That was... annoying. Aeon quickly jerked the tendril around Ephraim's neck, jerking it in the direction that would force Ephraim's body forward, at which time Aeon intended to slip out of his grasp and behind him. He wasted no time in kicking the back of his knees, to hopefully put the king on his knees, at which point Aeon would press his shoe against Ephraim's back while pulling on the makeshift leash, intending to choke him--hopefully long enough to knock him out or make him a lot less capable of fighting!(( OOC: ))

We're going to win."Ephraim was caught off-guard as his body was forced forward, and unfortunately for him he wasn't given enough time to rectify the situation before he was put on his knees, facing the quickly gathering crowd! And he'd soon feel himself being choked by the tendril around his neck, while Aeon's foot held him in his place on his knees. Aeon's incredible strength was a real boon here, as the force managed to take a lot of Ephraim's air away instantly, and in this position, it would be hard to gain leverage even if Ephraim was far stronger than his opponent. (Ephraim is pinned and losing oxygen! He must roll at least a 5 to escape! If he rolls less than a 5, Aeon rolls with EXTREME advantage in his next attack!)
Ephraim gripped the tendril around his neck at a further point, yanking it forcefully towards him while throwing his skull back, intending to pull Aeon towards him and slam his skull into the Reaper's to force himself free!(( OOC: ))

AeonAeon was pleased that Ephraim was led helplessly into his move, and from the king's reaction, it was rather effective! And how satisfying to force the king down on his knees in front of not only the princess he wanted to impress, but also the crowd gathering to witness the spectacle. (3! Ephraim fails! Aeon rolls with EXTREME advantage! Roll 3 dice, use the highest result!)
Ephraim's attempt to free himself would only result in him spending more oxygen, as Aeon's incredible strength mixed with his leverage made his attempt ultimately in vain. And in response, Aeon only pulled tighter! Ephraim was quickly becoming more and more vulnerable, and maybe he could have won this way, but... where would be the fun in that? No, he needed to humiliate this man. He needed to drive it into his skull that he was the superior man. Finally releasing him, Ephraim let out a sigh in response, starting to fall forward, but Aeon gripped his hair to keep him up--before leaning down, and sinking his fangs into the king's neck. Like shards of ice into the neck, Aeon partook very little of his actual blood. It was clear he was doing this just to show he could. To show that Ephraim couldn't stop him. To mark him, too helpless to prevent Aeon from biting him.
Standing, he shoved the king forward, intending to make him collapse there at Phoenix's feet. Marching up to him, he used his foot to flip the king onto his back, before now, for sure--planting his shoe firmly down upon the man's chest. With such force. With such authority. Now he would say the words he couldn't prior, as he locked eyes with the fiery princess. "You better enjoy watching me dominate this b***h."(( OOC: ))

Is everyone ready? We're going to win."As Ephraim had failed to remove the tendril from around his neck, there was little he could do to resist what Aeon had in store for him. He felt the familiar sensation of fangs in his neck, though this time not from Krul--and when he drew so little blood, it was clear he only did this to send a message. To humiliate him. And... it was certainly working, especially with what he did next. Ephraim let out a sharp grunt as the prince's shoe was planted on the king's chest so dominantly. These things, along with what he said to Phoenix, they were certainly humiliating, but they afforded him an opportunity. He had time to regain his strength as Aeon postured so dominantly. He may be on the backfoot, but he had come back from worse. Inhaling sharply, he forced his weight to turn to one side, hooking his arm around Aeon's leg to force Aeon to turn and drop down to one knee. Had he succeeded, he would quickly attempt to unwrap the tendril from around his throat, wrapping it around Aeon's ankle, before standing, taking a step to the side, and putting all his formerly waning strength into lifting Aeon by the tendril attached to his, swinging him overhead and slamming him down onto the ground!(( OOC: ))

AeonAeon was far too busy basking in the no-doubt adoration of the crimson haired bird brain to worry about the pathetic man beneath him. As far as he was concerned, this was already over. He owned the man beneath him, and the king would have to get used to being on his knees where he belon- "Urk?!" Aeon let out, his eye shooting wide for a moment visible to the audience before he was forced down into an uncomfortable position. And worse, his own tendril was being used against him! His brain was too scrambled by the surprise to dismiss the tendril, and soon he was swung like a flag around his adversary. How did he still have this much strength?! (10! Critical success! Aeon must skip his action, and Ephraim's next roll is with advantage!)
He slammed onto the sand with a particularly harsh thud! He bounced slightly from the force of the impact, exhaling the air from his lungs from the power! Well, now with the wind knocked out of him, the shoe seemed on the other foot!(( OOC: ))

Is everyone ready? We're going to win."Ephraim's counter worked flawlessly--a very welcome outcome, after what he was made to endure to set it up! He was quick to continue his attack--but... he glanced to the side. After that great success, there was no great rush, was there? He stepped towards his wife, his hand finding hers, as he lifted it towards him, leaning down and placing a soft, proper kiss on the back of her hand, appropriate towards a princess. Ephraim wasn't typically this... smooth? but after Aeon showed off for his girlfriend, Phoenix, it was only natural he do the same towards L'Arachel, his own wife. "Wait for me." He told her softly, before turning his attention back to Aeon.
Ephraim wasn't going to give Aeon time to recover--or at least, no more time than he afforded him with that little display. He lifted Aeon to a seated position, wrapping his arm around his neck, his arm pressing tightly to cut off his airflow and prevent him from refilling his lungs. The longer he was without air, the more vulnerable he would be. Pulling him harshly up into a standing position, he kept him in this chokehold as he pulled him to force him to move, forcing his body to exert itself further both to strain his airflow even further (as he tried to use oxygen to fuel his movements) and to exhaust his body as it was forced to move with so little oxygen, using far more energy as a result.(( OOC: ))
