jewel frowns slowlying down " I was just going to wander around... I don't feel good about any of this." jewel said swallowing feeling a little sick to her stomach " and I'm sorry I don't feel all that safe, s-some of the people here make me very nervious.. and I really don't wanna hurt anyone with my abilities"

"Abilities? Well... let's just head to your place and you can chill there." Sonic said as he began to lead Jewel to her new home.

Several hours later, Shadow is still in his cell but this time he is struggling to stand up. Still handcuffed by those special cuffs that prevent him from escaping, Shadow breathes fast and heavily as he endures excruciating pain.
After being injected by chemicals that would burn the inside of is body, which are considered poisonous, Shadow's expression gives off as if he is suffering a huge headache, along with a migraine.
Parts of his fur and even his own skin was cut off, showing some muscle and leaving him to bleed. His face covered in bruises from the punches he had to endure since he was trying to escape.
Even scratches and deep gashes cover his body.
In other words, Shadow was being tortured during the experimental testing they had put him through.
"Cowards..." Shadow mumbled. He falls to his knees since his legs gave in to his own body weight. He looked up at the ceiling, trying to keep his heavy eyelids open from covering his completely dilated eyes.
"Where is she.....?" Shadow finally gave up and fell onto the floor. He looked like he was dying but that is impossible for him.

jewle sighs " you know, how you run really fast and shadow has that dissapearing thing.... I was wearing a collar for a reason I can shape shift" jewel looks away slightly still upset " ....not many people know about this abilty of mine... only three so far eggman shadow and you. sence I did just tell you." jewel frowns " I never did get to say thanks to shadow for at least least lettign me live, and getting clothing and food."

jewel frowns looking away slightly " but he's already been taken to the lab's correct......" jewel said nerviously " I... I don't think its a good idea for me to go there while they are doing who knows what.... I wouldn't be able to take it...c-can't I go well at night... when those men in white coats are asleep..."

jewel tilts her head " but you just said I can do anything and what if I want to see shadow" jewel said with a frown looking around while heading to her new place

jewle frowns sighing a little " oh okay...." jewel said checking out her new living arangements while sonic rushes off " hope I'm doing the right thing... I don't wanna hurt anyone...." jewel said to herself

As Sonic leaves, he looked back towards where the area held the laboratories, I'll get him out... but I gotta figure out where to hide him...
As for Shadow, he was curled up into a fetal position as he tries to endure the pain.

jewel looks around the living room area poking the sofa cusions, eventualy plops on it " soft sofa" jewel quickly sits up frowning " to quiet.."

Shadow began to sit up as the chemicals that attacked his body began to wear off. The pain was subsiding and he was able to stand.
Shadow looked around though, looking a little dazed and confused on what is going on around him.
He was beginning to hallucinate.
He stood in the middle of a field of flowers and near a hill. On top of the hill was Maria... his long time friend.

jewel frowns getting back up and is looking for something to make it less quiet " is there a radio or somethign in here... its to quiet..." jewle said looking around even grabing somethign to nibble on " wonder if he's alive still..."

Shadow began walking up the hill, "Maria..."
"What have you done, Shadow? My grandfather didn't want this from you..." Maria said, sobbing, "Why are you hurting everyone? Why did you break our promise we made?"

jewel paces just a little and eventualy goes back out side the home she was given and wanders around by herself " wonder where the labs are..." jewel said wandering around some more keeping clear of some people walking
