 Soran “Koail” Ibrahim “దేశం ఆలోచిస్తూ లేదు, అది చర్య అన్నారు.” "Le gasp! She doesn't know such beautiful music that well," Soran inhaled sharply making Torithÿn start snickering at the vampire's feigning of nearing death for her not being able to sing one of the four songs listed. Finally slipping out of Soran's headlock, the dark reddish-brown haired phantom nemesis started fixing his medical mask over his face. Once settled, he gave a slight nod at the female while setting Koail's guitar down and picking up his cello once again. Playing a few strings for the girl, his shoulder raised in a half-shrug.
"Let Me Fall from Cirque Du Soleil's Quidam is a pretty decent song although my brother said it could've been a million times better. He says a million different songs could've been a million times better in all truth, but he's just a perfectionist with music. He's never completely satisfied with how something is played out in music including his own compositions and yet many love what music was actually made public. I suppose that's just Eric though," Torithÿn responded while letting go of the cello and it's bow yet neither fell when he stepped away from it. "Would you like me to play it for you so you can sing what a man originally sang? Some songs sound better if a woman sings it, some if it's a man who sings it. Then there are the songs that sound fine with either or both genders singing it. I've never heard a girl sing Let Me Fall before so it'd be new to me."
"Tori, are you sure? I mean... Y'know," the dark haired vampire asked a little worriedly only for the green eyed male to nod.
"It's fine, Soran. It's not going to bug me. Music helps calm the most savage of beasts after all," Torithÿn smiled lightly before starting up a low hum. Taking up his guitar, Soran sat on a little stool and smiled up at the female so as to await her answer to Torithÿn's question. "I'll play the guitar."

 Soran “Koail” Ibrahim “దేశం ఆలోచిస్తూ లేదు, అది చర్య అన్నారు.” "Don't worry about not knowing some of the songs we know. People stare at us all the time when we ask about certain songs. Like, no one knows what Time's Scar is much less If You Still Believe by Elsa Raven. I wanna shake some people and ask what the fudgesicles that crap being listened to today is. Whine-y voices don't make songs sound pretty... Morons are creating music nowadays apparently," Torithÿn snickered lightly before gently ruffling the girl's hair, his hand brushing over her ears a couple times. As if something clicked in his head, however, his smile faded out and he removed his hand, shoving it quickly into his pockets. "S-sorry... Um... We'll play the tune for Let Me Fall for you. Just let us know when you're ready."
"Tori's so shy~. He didn't hurt your ears did he? His physical strength waxes and wanes uncontrollably," Soran hummed cheerfully as he brushed his hair behind his ear. At seeing a dark glare from the phantom nemesis, he gave a soft frown before playing with his guitar a little bit.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Maya Lee Don't listen when day turns to night I won't be there to protect you then. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Maya stared in awe of her surroundings. Although the water reflected voices really well, she knew that an auditorium was even better-sounding. She had never had the chance to venture outside of the ports, so it was her first time seeing a music hall so vast and beautiful. Pictures did not do the place justice. She surveyed the room for other classmates or people in general. There were very few, and those that were there seemed occupied. She decided she could act on her current desire: to sing. She speed-walked towards a corner of the room and settled her posture. Shoulders back, head straight and never up, feet shoulder-width apart... She listed her prerequisites in her head as she always did before singing. When she was done she breathed in deep and exhaled. She had chosen a song that her mother had sung to her once when she went for a visit. It was a soothing choice that always left her missing her mother, even when she was being evil. Here goes nothing.Ma ni atte yokatta machi wa shiranai furi wo kimete nemutta Wasurekake no renga wo tsumiageta basho ni yukou
Umi wo miwatasu saka wo kakenobotte kowai kurai ni aoi sora to Migite ni saidaa hidarite wa zutto kimi wo sagashiteru
Sou yatte fusaida ryou no te de dakishimete iru haru no kaze Mada jikan wa bokura no mono de "itsuka, wasurete shimau kyou da ne" nante Iwanai de hoshii yoShe ended the song, whispering to herself. "I miss you."
Reed de Févin "You were my everything."After spending what felt like years trying to clean up the mess that was the music library, the white-haired teacher finally emerged. Dust and dirt covered his now messy uniform, but behind the door he was in front of was a now clean room with filed papers. He felt rather proud of himself, and his smile was piercing compared to the dirt darkening his body. The only problem he had about the music library now was that there were some great pieces that were missing parts. He'd be sure to talk to the people at the music store when he goes over to drop off instruments that need fixing. Clapping the dust off his hands as he walked into the band hall, Reed noticed Soran and the others from earlier, blinking in surprise. "You guys are still here? Class ended a few minutes ago." he said. Speaking of which, he heard a new voice singing and turned just in time to see a girl standing in a corner. "Oh hey, are you a new student?" he asked while taking note of the song she was playing. Japanese dictation, she must specialize in singing. "I'm the band director, Mr. de Févin. Any, uh, any reason you're singing in a corner? It's, uh, not the best acoustics." he chuckled as he wiped his hands with his handkerchief."Your music will live on."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Maya Lee Don't listen when day turns to night I won't be there to protect you then. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Maya spun around to face the white-haired man behind her. Great, somebody was paying attention."I sing in corners because I don't really know how to face an audience," she said. Sometimes it surprised herself that the words came out, even when she would rather run. "I'll be leaving now." Maya rushed out of the auditorium. She wasn't expecting someone she didn't know to hear her today. Maybe Nikolai would be at the Orange Peel already. They could commiserate together. *Exit to Orange Peel*

 Soran “Koail” Ibrahim “దేశం ఆలోచిస్తూ లేదు, అది చర్య అన్నారు.” "The teacher wasn't there so I came back and... Um... Viaresu's been back since before the bell even rang," Soran responded while hesitantly pointing up to the catwalk above the stage where a leg could be seen hanging over the edge and faint humming could be heard. As the voice stopped, the sound of a flute took it's place. Apparently he didn't feel like being sociable.
xXx"The teachers are too busy to teach their future generation leading to the stupidity of man. I have incubus blood in my veins, Mr. Reed. I don't need to learn all of the "special" positions nor do I feel comfortable watching pornographic films with other males in the room touching themselves over something they're not getting. It's disgusting, but the other classes were all full so we're stuck having that as a class," Viaresu responded from above, his foot slightly swaying as a means of entertainment. Upon hearing the girl who'd been singing leave, he gave a soft snort and sat up to where his arms and part of his torso leaned over the metal bars meant for safety purposes. "Well that was rude of her."

Dantes_river =_= Well that was short-lived. Reed de Févin "You were my everything.""Oh, there's no need to be that worried about singing in front of people. Here, I could show you - Op, uh, goodbye then...?" Blinking at the girl that dashed off as quickly as possible, Reed sighed. That was... wow. Did a student just ditch class in front of him? He did tell her that he was the band director, didn't he? He wasn't sure if he'd rather that happen or the student not show up at all. With Viaresu voicing the man's thoughts, Reed turned to look at him. "Well... Vocalists are always a rambunctious group." he attempted to chuckled. "Anyways, I could always use some Teacher's Aides. Maybe you can change your schedules?" he offered."Your music will live on."

Awesome nerd Get out of my head! But yeah, I second that being short-lived. stare Soran “Koail” Ibrahim “దేశం ఆలోచిస్తూ లేదు, అది చర్య అన్నారు.” "Don't make excuses for her. What she did was of her own volition and the consequence of said action to your kindness was that of rudeness. Let her bear her own responsibilities or she'll end up as a spoiled brat that expects everything to be handed to her, or the overly permissive parenting style's descendants based on psychology," Viaresu snorted while returning his flute to the inner pocket of his jacket and slipping down from the catwalk, his wings having stretched themselves and started beating once it was appropriate to do so. Once his feet hit the stage, however, his wings pulled themselves back in close to his spine so they were hidden beneath the jacket yet again. "I think I'll see about easing the stress of one Mr. Wilhelm by substituting some of the classes with him, but Soran will more than likely be overly enthused about helping you. I don't "play well" with others, mostly due to people's fascination with touching the tails of creatures, so being a figure of authority that sends some kind of light into this dark world from a less juvenile and horribly irritating path in life for this generation sounds more up my alley. I'll just have to try remembering not to repeat the statement "You're stupid" or anything similar to it to the youth of today so as not to rid them of their interest in knowledge."
xXx"I'd love to become an aide for you! You're already putting up with my incompetence for sheet music after all and I don't have anything else to do really," Soran cheered while pouncing off the stage in a rather graceful manner only so he could hug the music teacher. "What's a tenor?" "A what? Oh shoot! We discussed this only a few hours ago! It's a... A um... It's a... I hate you, Viaresu..." "You only hate me 'cause I've had this conversation with you about a hundred times before. Out of everything he's told you about sheet music, how much do you remember?" "I remember... He'll be moving me around a lot 'cause of my vocal abilities." "That's what I thought... Today's lesson has already been forgotten by Soran it seems. Good luck with getting him to remember all of the fine details about sheet music. Oh and you should have him play one of his newer songs for you. I especially loved the one he called Shatter Me, mixing a subgenre of electronica with rock and the classic of a violin. His work is really quite lovely." "I'm going to beat your head in! My work isn't all that wonderful. I just observe things and get these tunes in my head and if it turns into something, hooray. Most of the time it just stays in bits and pieces and I swear I can do better if I had more inspiration then you come along with your big, fancy words and "I kick puppies for fun" turned "That's very intricately sensitive to the feelings one experiences" attitude so I get confused. Then you go sending it to people and they get all excited about the sheet music you wrote for it and I panic and it ends up as a high rank in the music charts unless you count those crap musicians people listen to today."
Viaresu just gave a light chuckle before sitting at the edge of the stage. "I have a question for you, Mr. Reed. Have you ever heard of the Undying Lands?"

Reed de Févin "You were my everything.""Oh come on, you're being to hard on her. Maybe she's shy or something. I'll admit, though, that it's not comforting when a student runs away from you..." he murmured while looking at the doorway. Hearing the rest of Viaresu's words, the director chuckled. "Youth." he laughed to himself and turned just in time for the wings to be hidden again. "You sound like an old man. Enjoy the teenage years while you can! Besides, I'm not sure you can substitute if you're a student." he said then turned to look at Soran, laughing at the hug. "It's no big deal, and we'll have more time to get you to understand sheet music." he smiled while patting the kid's back. Looking back at Viaresu when he confronted Soran about his lesson, Reed seemed unconcerned. "That's nothing to worry about. Lots of people forget lessons right after getting it, that doesn't discourage me. A tenor's the voice above the bass and under the alto, by the way." He looked back at Soran. "You compose, too, huh? I'll show you some music some other time, the composer loops part of someone's voice then replaces it with pitches. There's also one that literally just recites the Immigration Laws in America, so if you ever need inspiration, I guess just use US laws." he laughed once more until he heard Viaresu's question. "Undying Lands? Can't say I've heard of them. Why?""Your music will live on."

 Soran “Koail” Ibrahim “దేశం ఆలోచిస్తూ లేదు, అది చర్య అన్నారు.” Giving a soft snort at being told he was being hard on the girl, the sandy blonde haired halfbred demon began examining the nails on one hand as the other was crossed over his chest. At being told to live like a teenager since he appeared to be one, it turned into a full blown lighthearted laughter. "I'll take that as a compliment, Mr. de Févin. But do you mean old as in human old or otherworldly, mythical creatures old? And who said anything about letting the unamusing... Broad that acts as principal to this school know my intentions? It's either intervene and actually educate these young adults or end up dealing with people in the supposedly required college courses with the thought process that five times five is ninety-five and HIV and HBV are contagious only through blood. I already have to put up with enough morons in the world as is not to mention the most intellectually stimulating conversation I've ever held is with this hyperactive male who can't understand sheet music as notes people read to play the music he loves so dearly to play," Viaresu smiled in faint amusement while briefly jabbing his thumb at Viaresu who seemed to have been caught off guard by pieces of paper flitting down with sheet music scribbled onto it in various types of neat, tidy markings or sharp, jagged markings to which no two symbols seemed the same. Noting how the vampire was glancing over the pages, his smile became mischievous. Soran wouldn't be able to resist hearing the tune played aloud after all.
xXx"We compose, sir. Viaresu has a lot of musical compositions himself, but he's far too shy to let people see them. What songs people know of I had to give out behind his back while allowing a human to say it was their work. He'd already stated to me before that he would probably let a human take ownership of his work if he were to ever record any of it so I just acted upon it. And it's funny you should say to live out the teenage years instead of sounding old. He's young, yes, but he's experienced a lot and is far beyond his years albeit still younger than me. I've tried getting him to loosen up, but he only ever does that when his incubus half kicks into effect. But, um, we're not technically teenagers. We look like it, but our years kind of already hit over the third digit quite some time ago. We mostly come back to school every few years to see how everything's changed and keep updated on said changes," Soran hummed cheerfully while stacking up the pages neatly and briefly shooting the other a dark glare. He asked about a place he didn't need to bring up after all. Upon the other ignoring his glare, the dark haired male set the sheet music down and began pressing down keys on the piano. As his fingers began dancing across the keys, something making the guitar strapped on his back join in on some places, he started humming.
"Just curious is all. Few seem to know about it and I wondered if you could see anything odd is all."

Dantes_river Thank you emotion_kirakira Reed de Févin "You were my everything.""Hey," Reed said in a warning tone to Viaresu. "I'm sure Ms. Kiyaka isn't that bad." He didn't really have room to defend her. He had only met her for ten minutes when she gave him a brief tour of the school and half of that time consisted of her telling him the best places to be, well, intimate with others. Perhaps she was joking, but she must have been one hell of a joker to keep such a straight face when talking about that. "Tell you what. If you two can play me your compositions, I'll see about getting you to help with the classes, Viaresu." Reed said, smiling as though he had found the ticket to exciting his class. A thought suddenly occurred and he tilted his head at the two. "So what exactly are you guys? How old are you, since we're talking about it. I'm part Siren and Muse.""Your music will live on."
