 Spadekit "Perfection is impossible. Loyalty is not." ♤✖♤✖♤✖♤✖♤✖♤✖♤✖♤✖♤✖♤✖♤✖♤✖♤✖♤✖♤✖♤✖♤✖♤✖♤[Spadekit felt a world of pain sweeping over her like a hawk. She trembled at the pain, and looked around for doveflight. Her dead mother was gone. She wanted to yowl, and she felt one rising up in her throat, but she didn't want to alarm any cat, so she smacked her face down into her paws and let out a muffled ear-splitting yowl of pain, screeching muffled words.]"STARCLAN, WHERE ARE YOU?!" [She slowly raised her head, her pelt wet with sweat. She blinked over to see Dicepaw running towards her, her eyes wide in alarm.] "Spadekit! i heard you-"[Spadekit followed Dicepaw's gaze, landing on her stumpy tail, with the remaining portion of it half a fox-length away from it.]"Great....starclan...."[Spadekit looked at her sister's eyes wide in horror, and the she-cat looked up to Spadekit, her gaze worried.] "I'm okay, Dicepaw...it just...hurts a lot." [Dicepaw glanced over to Pepperpaw.] "Want me to go get him?"[Spadekit blinked in surprise.] "Why would you ask me that?" [Dicepaw let out a snort.]"Um, hello? You've been making eyes at him for a while now. but Joypaw's kinda startin' to moon over him a bit, so yeah. Anything for my sister."[Spadekit felt her wet pelt bristle, going hot.] "I don't love him! He's just a nice tom, and i like knowing about being an apprentice from him and all!" [Dicepaw got to her paws, starting to pad off.]"Yeah well, Your remaining kin is apprentices right now, you know. you could just ask us sometime, too."

We are the swift... We are the strong...  Pepperpaw[A muffled yowl was carried to Pepperpaw's ears. Though he had looked away he could still imagine the separation of body and tail. His stomach churned at the thought.]
"Joypaw, let's go see Spadekit...she's having a worse day then me..." [Pepperpaw suggest. He flicked his tail toward the medicine cat den. Instantly he stopped his tail for fear the Spadekit had seen. With a large breath he turned and started to pad away.]
[Pepperpaw hoped Joypaw had followed. He thought Spadekit needed everyone's support right then.]
[He passed by Dicepaw and sent a nod her way before entering the medicine cat den.] "Hey Spadekit..."
[The removed portion of tail caught his eye and he tried his hardest not to focus on it. Despite having no tail, nothing had changed about Spadekit, not in Pepperpaw's eyes. He didn't know what Spadekit wanted to hear. Whether she wanted him to be sorry that she had lost her tail or empathetic about getting it removed. He decided, neither.]
"I bet Galestar is going to give you a mentor soon." [Pepperpaw said, acting as normal as possible.] We are and always will be... Breezeclan...

Birdsong
[Birdsong padded into camp, with Wavepelt and Serpent trailing behind her. Spotting Galestar, she padded up to him, and lost all confidence]
"Oh. Uh, Galestar? Wavepelt and I..well..we found a cat named Serpent on the border, and she was lost..so I kinda brought her here.."
[She ducked her head, he's going to tell her to get out, and then yell at me.. She lifted her head, and looked him right in the eye]

Wavepelt had padded into the camp, and walked next to Birdsong. He looked at Birdsong and nodded at her words. He then looked at Galestar if Birdsong's getting punished for bringing a loner to the clan I might as well get punished too, since I went along with it.

I sure would like a mentor, that'd be real nice." [Spadekit wiggled her stumpy tail.] "You think i'll still be able to climb trees as well?" [Spadekit asked, regarding her love for climbing trees. The mottled kit had even said that she would one day catch a squirrel while climbing a tree, even though she knew how nearly impossible that was. She looked at Pepperpaw, and her pelt grew warm.] So kind of him to come and see me...i wish i wasn't a kit anymore, this is a drag! Maybe Iceears can be my mentor...wait, no! I want to be able to have a mate. Maybe Breezepaw. I doubt she would want a mate anyways. maybe i can get Cometstream to talk to Galestar about it.

We are the swift... We are the strong... Pepperpaw "And why wouldn't you?" [Pepperpaw questioned.] "Just because you have a... shorter tail, doesn't mean you won't be able to climb."
[Pepperpaw sat down and curled his own tail around his paws, wishing he hadn't. he thought that him having a tail would make her sad, he wanted to avoid that as best as he could.]
"It may be more difficult. But you'll get past it somehow." [Pepperpaw said, expressing his confidence in the she-cat before him. Only a few nights ago he had only had his sister, but now it seemed cats were surrounding him, trying to fill the void of both his mother and his unavailable sister. He was finally gaining friends. Though sometimes it felt a little different then just friendship.] We are and always will be... Breezeclan...

@everyone else: Okay...so Galestar is back of course. He's been assessing Duskpaw and has decided she's gunna become a warrior, so I'ma do her ceremony soon. Ngh.))
[Embergaze froze, staring at Mapleleaf. He tried to stop his heart from flying out of his chest. She was staring back at him without looking away. Even though it made him see like a coward, he looked away and stared at the ground bashfully.]
Clearing his throat, he said, "S-sure, Mapleleaf...I was just about to head out." He blinked and added awkwardly, "Let's go, then."

Galestar, Stormpaw's idol, and the clan leader.] "H-hello Galestar, sir." [he stammered nervously.] "H-how are our borders, sir?" [Stormpaw said, thinking about the borders suddenly. He sat licking his paw to calm him down. He sat eagerly in front of the muscular figure that was his leader.]

Wavepet decided to change the subject before Galestar said anything. "Um well, while we were at the border we met Troutail and Frostfern. They said they were going to the Moonpool, I'm not sure if that's something worth reporting".

[Spadekit's stumpy tail flicked about, and she looked back at it.] "i kind of like it. It's better than a long tail that won't even move anymore. Still hurts, though." [She let out a yawn.] "Hey, Pepperpaw. What if I talked to Eaglewind? He can't possibly punish me, and you don't deserve two whole moons of not being trained! I mean, that seems pretty mouse-brained. Maybe i can talk some sense into him." [Spadekit offered.]

We are the swift... We are the strong... Pepperpaw [Pepperpaw leaned to the side to get a better look at Spadekit's stump of a tail. He smiled as it flicked around. At least it didn't change Spadekit herself. So what if she didn't have a tail, she was still the same kit he knew.]
"I like it. Very becoming of you." [Pepperpaw said, his tail giving a slight quiver. He was worried of it hurting, though it was to be expected. Soon enough he knew it would heal and Spadekit would no longer be bothered by it.]
"Would you talk to him!?" [Pepperpaw asked excitedly, jumping slightly. He bounded closer and rubbed his head against Spadekit's with a purr.] "I would be forever grateful!" We are and always will be... Breezeclan...

She felt her heart flutter at his action.] "S-Sure, i can definitely talk to him!" [Spadekit didn't dare break away from Pepperpaw, and purred lightly.] Do i love him? well...maybe. He sure is kind and all...but Joypaw. Oh, Joypaw. She's right around his age, isn't she? That makes things hard for me...even though i'm only half a moon younger.
