Emily didn't have a chance to move away. Savage backed up suddenly and nearly pinned her against the other door. She froze when he did so, becoming as still as she could be. Partly to try and make it seem as though he simply bumped the other door. Mostly though because her fight or flight reaction was a half a second away from kicking in.

Before she could react further, she felt his arm move around behind her and suddenly scoop her in front of him. Fight or flight began screaming at her, but she couldn't do more than let herself be moved with the way he had his arm around her. Her suit began to malfunction, moving too quickly to be able to mirror what was on one side of the suit to the other. Her good stealth suit was back at home... this one was made more for gathering information. The suit malfunctioned another moment before canceling the camo function completely.

Emily was turned towards Savage and pressed against the wall. Her pink-colored suit perfectly visible to him, as well as the pink bag of what seemed to be equipment she was holding. An attempt to camo that as well. With the full bike-styled helmet, it was impossible to see a face behind it, but the figure was definitely female. The painful little hiss that came from behind the helmet as her back was pressed up against the wall was another telling little sign.

Could she move? No, not with him standing there like that. And with the cameras, it would be better for her to let the camo program reboot. Or she risked being found out completely. "Does that... really matter at this point? she replied quietly. The helmet altering her voice just enough that it wasn't recognizable.

The figure took a hesitant pause before replying to him. The suit's helmet masking any emotion that may have come from her. "... yes." Emily replied. She didn't have much of a choice but to let him know it was her.

Emily hesitated once again before answering him. As much as she wanted to just run off and not come back, she did know all too well that he had the means to come after her. After the amount of money he had just paid for Natalia, he would have absolutely no problem coming after her. And if he didn't hire someone to kill her, she knew that he was skilled enough in hand to hand to do it himself.

"Yes..." she replied. It would take her about that long to get out of the building in this suit anyway.

Emily waited until he vanished down the hall, then let herself sink down the wall until she was sitting on the floor. Great... just great. This night just kept getting better and better. First the whole thing with Natalia's room, then she was followed to the Crime Doctors by a costume, got mixed up in work with him, switched out of her full stealth gear to come back here to snoop, and now she was going to have another little meeting with Vandal. And her back was screaming at her again because he was pushing her up against the wall.

Her attention was pulled away just long enough to see Natalia walk out of Cobblepot's office. The dark woman closed the door behind her, waited a moment, then allowed a large smile to wrap around her face. Her night was just getting better and better.

Natalia smiled and chuckled lightly to herself as she moved towards the room that was attached to her own room. Emily kept still until Natalia vanished inside of the door, then got back to her feet. She carefully crept back past Oswald's office door and down the hallway towards the large window she had slipped in through. Getting in was always easy. It was always getting back out that was the hard part. Doing so while her stealth suit kept up its appearance.

Once she reached the wall under the window, she carefully raised her hand and touched the wall. A moment later, suction cups came out of the palm of her hand. Then on her knees, and toes of her feet. Carefully, while still holding her bag, she began climbing up the wall towards the window. Slowly, carefully.

Finally reaching the window, Emily crept through the empty slot she had left open. Curling over the edge of the window, she let gravity pull her out of the Lounge and flipped her legs out the remaining way. On the outside, she didn't have to worry too much about her stealth malfunctioning. She had a small zipline tie going down to the fire escape of the next building. Hard to see, and hard to bump into unless someone was hanging out over the side of it.

A couple more minutes to get off of the fire escape quietly, and a few minutes after that to get from this alley to the one Vandal was waiting in. She should make it just in time provided nothing got in her way.

As she made it to the ground, she opened up her communicator on her wrist. She needed to at least text a message to the Count letting him know that she made it out of the office finally.

It was about a minute left before Emily finally made it around the side of the building. She was lucky; there was no one loading anything into the Lounge tonight. If there were, she would have been a few more minutes. Then she risked Vandal assuming she wasn't coming and left.

When she came around the side and into the alley, her camo feature was still active. She was going just fast enough for it to work without crashing on her. Just enough that it would be more like a glassy figure moving into the alley.

"Home world technology. Basic model. Full stealth suit is back in the closet." Emily replied, walking up closer to him before stopping. "Should have left it on..."

She wouldn't have had to worry about the lag time needed for her good suit to mirror her surroundings. She could move faster in it. She wouldn't have had to worry about creeping behind Savage. Well... maybe he still would have bumped into her even in the good suit.
