Rei snickered at Drigger's obvious dislike for the old man. I hope you get to eat him one day... Did he just say Boris? Rei looked at Ralef's retreating back, confused. "I thought you weren't taking his orders anymore..." He said, frowning.
Sonia rolled her eyes and walked over to Rei, physically turning his body in the direction of Ralef and thrusting him forward. "Unlike you, we're actually loyal." She said quietly so only Rei could hear her.
Rei scowled and continued walking in the direction Sonia had pushed him. Feel free to eat her as well- though she might get stuck on the way down.

Boris walked quickly to the room he had called the leaders of Biovolt to. He had to try to devise a basic plan to deal with the resistance before they all came.
The problem was that he had no idea what that basic plan was.
~
Kai2 followed Stan and looked around, "Cosy." He commented before beginning to dig around in the cupboards. He blinked at the amount of food that could be stuffed into such a small space. "Nice."
Brooklyn's eyes widened at the sight of the lunchroom. "Thank God" He said with feeling, deserting Bryan's side to delve into the food with the second Kai.

Kai frowned. "And I'm so sorry that I want to know what's wrong when you don't want to answer a simple question." He retorted.
Kai sighed and let go of Tala. "Seriously, you're skin and bones." He said in a gentler tone of voice. "Now I'm worried about you"

((really panda - i think we have enough sub-plots already without one about Tala and eating disorders -_-))
"Yes," Taki continued, "A sling. So i don't have to worry about this arm moving around."
Kia nodded and went of in search of a first aid kit, muttering to herself along the way, "it wouldn't move if you just sat still for once."

"Don't be," Tala said, "I'm alive aren't i?" He pushed past Kai and headed towards the door the other's went through.

Bryan blinked as Brooklyn raced off. He shook his head.
"Strange people," he said to himself before walking over to the two scavengers.
~
Drigger stood where he was for a second, another growl escaping him. He watched the group for a moment.
he flicked his tail and then disappeared back into the disc in Rei's hand in a flash of light.
Ralef looked over his shoulder at the flash. He shrugged before pushing open the door, walking into the hallway and heading towards the briefing room.
Yulia stayed where she was. In the lab, by herself.

((O.o whoever said he had an eating disorder?!??!))
Rei followed Ralef, still trying to figure out what it meant if Boris was still in charge. Did that mean that it was him that had authorised Sonia and Ralef to steal the white tiger from Lee?
Where did that leave Rei?
Rei looked down at the disk Drigger had disappeared into. I get the feeling you don't like me very much.
Sonia followed behind Rei, assuming that anything that Ralef was important enough to be at was important enough for her.

Kai handed Brooklyn a bag of potato chips. "They should keep you going until I can find us some real food." He told the orange-haired teen.
Brooklyn took the chips gratefully, looking at the Russian label with mild interest before tearing open the packet and delving into the stale yet edible contents.
Brooklyn looked over at Bryan and held out the packet. "Want?" He asked simply.

Kai scowled in frustration, walking quickly after the redhead. "Tala..." He reached out to take the other's hand. "Tala- please stop."
~
Entering the briefing room, Boris paused and closed his eyes. He had to savour every moment he got to himself. If he didn't he knew that insanity was just dying to get a hold of him.
Boris walked to the chair at the head of the table and sunk into it, relaxing. He'd just have to invent a plan for everyone when they got there.

((implying like.... couldn't Kai have picked something other then how bony tala is? or how little he's eaten *sore subject still*))
Kia frowned as she pulled out another first aid kit from a cupboard. She hoped that this one still had a few slings remaining in it.
And she hoped that Taki hadn't moved from where he was sitting.
She opened this kit and grinned. Yes, found one. Ch, that guy, sending me on a wild goose hunt.
She took the sling and replaced the box before heading back to Taki. When she reached the guy all she could do was roll her eyes.
He was alseep.
But he was still sitting up and cross-legged.
Is that even comfortable?Kia asked herself.

Tala stopped walking but didn't turn around. He waited for Kai to continue speaking.

Bryan blinked down at the offered chips. He raised an eyebrow and studied them warily.
After he assured himself they weren't going to endanger his health he reached in a took a chip.
"I guess, thanks," he said before munching on the stale food.
~
Drigger let a growl rumble through Rei's head.
He liked him. He just didn't like fuzzy haired guy over there.
Ralef ignored the two behind him as he headed for the briefing room. What was so important that Boris wanted to see them all for now? He stared up the hallway and noticed a few of the other Head Of Department's heading in the same direction he was.

((*hugs* I needed an excuse for Kai to drag Tala into a dark corner and ra- have a serious talk with him. No offense intended. Besides, I think you eat just fine. You're healthy, no?))
Just promise me you'll come out when I need you too? Rei asked, blindly following Ralef. He half recognised the people that were also walking in the same direction but was unable to put names to faces.
Sonia, on the other hand, recognised them all.
She slowed so that she could walk beside one of them. "Do you know what this is about?" She asked quietly.
((Lainy? Help out please?))

Brooklyn smiled and took another chip for himself. "Can we help?" He asked Kai.
"God look in the fridge for some cheese, salad stuff and in the freezer for meat that hasn't gone off." Kai told him, reaching toward the back of teh cupboard. He withdrew his arm and held up his finding proudly. "Hamburger buns."

"...I'm sorry." Kai said eventually, moving toward where Tala had stopped. "I'm just worried about you in general." He said after a moment's pause. "You can't blame me for that, can you?"

Kia sighed and bent down so she coul reach Taki's arm and neck. She carefully folded his bad arm to get the sling under it. Taki continued to sleep.
She was about to tie the sling around his neck when he moved his head. She quirked an eyebrow when he rolled his head onto his shoulder. His injured shoulder.
"Ow," he muttered in his sleep and rolled his head onto his other shoulder. Kia blinked before continuing to tie the sling.
And i love this guy because...?

Tala didn't answer straight away. He watched Kai out of the corner of his eye before sighing.
He turned to face the other teen. "I guess not."
~
Bryan blinked. "Interesting."
He made his way over to the fridge and began rummaging through it.
Stan watched them all from his position leaning on one of the benches. He looked around the room and silently counted everyone. He absently wondered where the other two had got of to.
~
The bluenette looked over at her and shrugged. "I don't know any specifics," he said, "all i know is the idiot Ilya in main control annoys me."
He continued walking for a moment before adding," And that Boris has called all the HOD's for a meeting. Something big must be up. I'm sure we'll find out once we get in there."
Drigger's growl rumbled through Rei's mind again. If he could he would have purred.

"I think he annoys everyone." Sonia said before quickening her pace to walk in the main group of people heading towards Boris's briefing room.
She spotted the door and headed towards it, breaking out of the main group to walk ahead.
It wasn't right that something of this scale should be happening without her prior knowledge. Boris must have figured out something or found out something important.

Kai2 placed his prize on the bench and waited for what Bryan's search would turn up. We might even be able to have a decent meal He thought as he began to take the buns out of their plastic wrapping.

Kai gave Tala a hesitant smile. "I didn't think so." He said quietly.
Kai reached out and touched Tala's cheek gently before frowning and snatching his hand away, thinking about what could potentially happen in the coming fight.
If it was as big as Kia said it would be he didn't want to think about it.
He walked past Tala and toward the door of the kitchen. "Come eat." He said gruffly before opening the door and walking through it. He held the door open for Tala and looked at him expectantly.

Kia finished tieing the sling around Taki's neck before leaning abck on the balls of her feet. She watched him sleep, oblivious to her actions, with a raised eyebrow.
She sighed before reaching over and brushing stray strands out of his face.
What am i going to do with you?

Tala stared at Kai for a moment before shrugging and walking through the door. The normalness of yesterday seemed to be creeping further and further away.
The redhead raised a slender eyebrow at the rest of the group. Bryan shuffled back out of the fridge and turned around holding up his prize.
"Meat?" he offered, "I guess hamburgers could be a reality now. Oh and cheese," which he held up with the other hand.

Boris sat back in his chair and surveyed the gathered crowd. "Any questions?" He asked, his eyes moving over every face in the room. Every face, that is, except for Rei. He still didn't want to look at Rei.
Rei noticed and continued to lean against the wall he'd settled himself against when they'd walked into the room. He had understood what he had to do. He didn't need anymore than that.
He could deal with Boris later.
Sonia nodded slowly, the plan sinking into her mind piece by pice as she solved the jigsaw that was how they were going to put down the resistance.

Both Kais walked back into the large room in front of their group.
"Anything interesting happen while we were gone?" Kai1 asked, looking at Kia.
"Hope not." Kai2 quipped before walking over to see what Fayina was doing.

Kia stared blankly at Kai, hands on her hips. "Oh you missed nothing interesting at all. Unless you consider it interesting."
She raised her eyebrows and pointed down at her leg with her eyes. Taki, still asleep had managed to wrap his good arm around her leg as she stood, supporting him as he slept.
Kia looked back up at Kai and smiled. "Enjoy your break then? Find any food?"

The crowd remained in silence, digesting everything that had been said. A few of those younger in the group were to afraid to say anything.
A greying man with piercing blue eyes looked around the room slowly before looking back at their leader.
"What if they don't go down?" he ventured.

Boris turned his gaze to glare at the man who'd asked the question. As far as he could remember, the man worked in a department of security- it was his job to ask questions like that.
Nevertheless, his eyes narrowed at the man. "If they don't go down I'll know who to blame." He said quietly before raising his voice to address the group again. "Even letting the thought that they won't go down pass through your heads is welcoming the idea of defeat. Defeat is not an option." He said clearly and definitely.
"Any other questions?" He asked.
Rei closed his eyes and reached for the comforting feeling of Drigger's disk.

Kai1 rolled his eyes at Taki. "So much for him being all heroic and saviong us all from Biovolt's evil clutches." He said with a smir before glancing around the room. "So... can we help?
Fayina looked up as Kai2 approached. "What's up?" She asked.
"I'm guessing that Kia's going to have something for the disk-ed ones over there to do so I thought I could come and help you." He said simply.
Fayina nodded before digging underneath the table she was standing at. It was piled with various things both on top and underneath it. Eventually she emerged with what looked like a first-aid box.
"It looks like we'll be starting soon." She said as she handed over the box. "Biovolt won't go down without a fight. We'll be needing people who aren't involved in actual combat."

Kia raised an eyebrow. "Him being heroic? Did he say that?"
Kia watched fayina as she handed over the box, more interested in the box than anthing else.
"She has a point," she said and looked up at the group, "I don't think it would be fair to force you into fighting straight away when you know notheing about it. Your skills won't be needed for the time being."
Tala furrowed his eyebrows in question. "Skills? We have skills? That you need?"

"I never said anything about defeat," the old man continued quietly, relatively comfortable with Boris' personality, "But do we have a back up plan if something should arise? Cover every possibility? Better to be safe than sorry. I don't want them finding a loop hole." The emphasis on them dripped with venom, as if he were speaking of an obnoxious pest.
The vast majority of the others stayed silent. A few murmered between themselves.

Boris considered his idea for a second before nodding slightly. "I suppose that you'll be the one heading up a team to prevent these... loopholes?" He asked.
"Remember that we'll be needing every available person on board when we start attacking." Sonia cut in.
Boris nodded in acknowledgement. "Meaning that you have until the deadline to find any of these loopholes and plug them." He told the greying man.

Brooklyn rolled his eyes at Tala. "She' not talking about skills." He said quietly. "She's talking about our sacred spirits, stupid." Brooklyn shook his head. "Even I got that" He muttered as an afterthought.
Kai ignored Brooklyn and frowned at Kia. "What will we be doing until then?" He asked.
Kai took the bok and set it on top of something that looked stable on the table. He opened it to survey the medical supplies inside. "You do know I've only really done a basic first aid course..." He said as he tried to distinguish some of the more complicated parts of the box.

Tala's eyes flicked over to Brooklyn, giving him a cold stare from the corner of his eyes.
Bryan raised an eyebrow and swung an arm around Brooklyn's neck. "Watch it with the names, i don't want you getting yourself killed now."
Kia looked down at the limpet on her leg and gave a loud huff. She got a small snore in response. She narrowed her eyes and started to move towards Fayina and Kai.
For someone asleep, he sure has a good grip when being dragged.
"It's ok Kai, i'm sure Taki would love to help with that. It'll keep him and you out of the way PLUS it'll put him to some kind of work," she said, satisfied.
Taki gave a snort before snapping open his eyes. "Wah?... did someone use 'Taki' and 'work' in the same sentence? Or was that a nightmare?"

The old man nodded slowly. "Of course, consider your plan loophole free, sir."

Boris nodded and scanned the room again. "Any more questions?" He asked. He waited for a beat and continued. "Then let's get to work. We have 3 hours."
Rei pushed himself off the wall in the meeting area and quietly slipped out of the room. He didn't want to wait for those three hours. That was to wipe out the resistance altogether.
His task was slightly more... specialized.
Rei didn't see any harm in completing it early.

Kai2 snorted and crouched down to be a Taki's eyelevel. "No, it gets better." He said with a smirk. "You get to work with me. Your favourite person."
Brooklyn looked at Bryan and rolled his eyes. "Tala couldn't hurt me." He declared. "Besides, you protect me." He paused and frowned "... wouldn't you?"
