Garin sat down next to her again and watched her face. She wouldn't even look at him. Was she angry with him or something?

"Garin," Aquaria said quietly. "You're the first person I've ever met, since I lost my memories. That's why I trust you as much as I do, and, call me stupid, but I'll continue to trust you until you give me solid proof not to," she continued, always looking out at the Bay.

"Aquaria..." Garin said, his voice equally as quiet. "My whole life I've tried to be a good person, despite the fact that I kill people. But I'm terrified that one day, I'm going to loose it and I'm going to be a monster forever..."

Garin continued to watch her for a moment. "I'm also so worried that I'm going to hurt you or scare you enough that one day you're going to ran from me and never come back..." That scared him even more than loosing his humanity.

Aquaria looked at Garin for a long moment, studying the lines of his face, and then turned back to the Bay, letting her long hair form a curtain between them.
