~Alexander~ ~Heir to The World That Never Was~
Alexander smiled at Hikari as they walked through the crowds. "Well from what I've heard fireworks are explosives that people shoot into the air. They're supposed to make alot of colors in the sky or something when they explode." He told her with a small shrug of his shoulders. "I don't really know more about them than that though." Before they could reach the rest of the group Alexander stopped Hikari and turned to face her. "Hey, back there in the struggle ring you seemed to really be having a hard time. Are you okay, or has losing the darkness left you too weak?" He asked with a concerned look on his face. Sure he couldn't have any really emotions, but he remembered them well enough to fool himself into thinking he did. And what those memories of feelings told him was that he should be concerned for her.

Xion looked up at Naminé as she spoke. The blonde was nice. The ravenette just stared at her from under her hood. She was sorry? Xion nodded. She forgave her. The Nobody Princess never meant to cause her existance or problems with Sora's memories. Her eyes then flashed to Roxas as he spoke, introducing himself to her for the second time. She forced a soft smile. "I'm Xion," she repeated.
Xion then looked at Lakayna. Did she say fireworks? What were those? They sounded interesting. "I want to see," she told the girl and Axel. Fire is what Axel fought with and Xion knew it would be a nice reminder of the good old days when they were all together. She looked to Roxas. "Do you wanna come watch them with us?" she asked the Nobody. She hoped he would.
Riku smirked at the responses given. It seemed everyone had fun. He tried not to make his stress apparent as Sora explained how Xion had hung out with he and Kairi. He hoped no damage was caused. The silvernette looked at the hooded girl as she spoke to Roxas and Lakayna. "Well, that's good to hear," Riku stated. He was glad he and Kairi had fun together and it seemed Ari did too. The youngest, though, looked tired. "Fireworks sound fun," the silvernette agreed. He caught the cautious stare Xion turned on him.
"Have fun at the fireworks," Ari chimed. She looked to her brother and stretched. "I'm tired, so I'm gonna head home." She smiled and waved off the group before disappearing into the carnival again. She had to go back and get her prize with all her tickets and then head home through town. She decided to pick a paopu bean bag chair. Then the girl headed home and fell asleep in the chair on her floor.

Naminé Miss Memory Witch
Roxas had introduced himself to Xion and Naminé looked at the ground. She couldn't imagine how Xion must 'feel'... when one of her best friends, her closest one, introduced himself then didn't give her a second glance. She felt Roxas' gaze on her and the petite blonde lifted her eyes, atumotatically smiling at her best friend. He asked her if this was everyone and she opened her mouth to speak, but it wasn't her voice that gave the answer. Though the voice did sound a lot like Naminé's. Kairi answered and so Naminé turned her attention back to the small ravenette beside Axel and Kairi. Xion gave a nod to Naminé and the blonde managed a faint smile before she looked away. Her thoughts were on how Xion being around could affect Sora. Oh, she had so much work to do. She was still working on memories of Hikari for Riku's parents and now she was going to have to make sure none of Sora's memories started slipping away.
The petite blonde gave a faint sigh, until Lakayna spoke about fireworks. The Memory Witch instantly perked up, recalling the bright booming colors in the sky from Sora's memories. But it'd be so cool to see it for herself. Her eyes lit up when Lakayna said that they should find a high place to sit and watch them and Naminé nodded her head, looking at her dragon friend. "Good idea, Lakayna!" She said with a smile. She heard the others speaking, and Riku said fireworks sounded fun. Ari chimed that she was tired, so she was going to head home and Naminé looked at Sora's younger sister, smiling at her. "Night, Ari." She called softly after the girl before looking back around at the group. Her eyes strayed to Sora and Kairi, wondering if they'd gotten together at some point during the day. But they weren't holding hands and though they were happy as always, it wasn't a shy, sweet happy between them. No, nothing had happened yet, then. But Naminé was positive it was only a matter of time. Turning back to Lakayna, she asked, "Did you have a certain place in mind? To watch the fireworks?"

Lakayna looked to Sora's sister as she said she was going home and was leaving. "Bye!" she called after the young girl, waving. When Ari was out of sight, Lakayna heard Namine ask her a question. The dragon-girl turned to the petite blonde.
"I do know one place. There's still time to get ther before the fireworks start," she replied, "Follow me everyone." Lakayna turned and led the way for everyone through the crowds. It'd thinned a little as people slowly started to head home; but not by much. Lakayna led them all to a hill just outside the fairgrounds. It was the perfect place to watch the fireworks. They made it there just as the first ones were fired off.
"It's starting!" she said to them all, pointing towards the illuminated sky before sitting down to watch the fireworks herself.

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxSoraxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxFinally back!!! I can rest up, hang with my friends and... Sora grinned as Riku replied to him, then turned his attention to Lakayna as she mentioned fireworks. He quickly found himself next to Kairi and decided he would walk with her to the ideal spot. He glanced over at Xion, and if she caught sight of him, he'd beckon her over. She seemed upset for some reason. She'd pulled her hood up over her head like she was part of Organization XIII or something. He knew she was new and possibly nervous, but he didn't want her to feel that way. Plus, he wanted to see if there was a connection to his random flashbacks and her being near. He hadn't had any since the ferris wheel, which was the last time he was near her. He was determined to find out.
Sora waved good-bye to his sister as she ran off. It sounded like she'd had a good day, which pleased him. He then followed Lakayna out of the festival, Kairi at his side. He wasn't sure why they would leave to get a better view, but soon he understood. They'd come to a nice large hill, and one could see the entire fair from it. He grinned and sat down, patting the place next to him so the crimsonette would sit there. Just then, a firework exploded in the sky, followed by another. Oohs and ahhs escaped the group as they watched, and Sora was very content. It'd been a while since he'd had such a relaxed day as this. "This is fantastic," he whispered, mostly to himself. "It's days like this that I wish would never end." GO TO SCHOOL!?!

Riku glanced briefly at Xion before taking Naminé's hand and following the group up to the spot to watch the fireworks. He could easily tell that the Nobody was worked up Xion being here and he needed to get her as relaxed as possible. She didn't need to worry about it. he was here for her and they were going to do it together this time. For real. They sat down together and he sat with his arm around her. He stared up as the pyro show lit up the sky time and time again. The silvernette heard Sora's absent whisper and he grinned. "Me too," he whispered to naminé and then kissed her tenderly.

She looked off to the side, thinking about his question. "I'm not sure. Xehenort just experimented on my heart with the darkness. When I was old enough, he sent me to other worlds for combat training. Xehenort didn't want to get his hands dirty if anything went wrong with me physically," she explained and suddenly heard a loud bang. She turned sharply around, ready to fight but instead saw bright colors in the sky. still slightly tense, she looked at Alexander. "Are those the fireworks?" she asked. Axel held her hand the whole time she led them to the hill to watch the fireworks. When they started, he had to admit, he was impressed. "Whoa!" he laughed, looking at the different colors. Sitting down next to Lakayna, he leaned back against his arms that propped up his torso, watching the dazzling display.Roxas followed them to the hill to watch the fireworks, even though his mind was far from it. He didn't like how Riku was holding Namine the way he was, and then he went and kissed her. He sat down next to Namine and then watched him kiss her and cleared his throat loudly. He was liking Riku less and less and watching him coddle her made his blood boil.

Thinking of you, wherever you are. Kairi Princess of Heart The fireworks were going to start soon, and Lakayna suggested to the group that they go find someplace high to watch them. Everyone agreed that that was a good idea, and Kairi was eager to get going. She then heard Ari next to her tell the group to have fun at the fireworks. The younger brunette was tired and was going to head home. "Bye Ari! I had fun hanging out with you today! Have a good night!" the Princess smiled and waved. The crimsonette was wondering where they were going to go, and that's when Naminé asked what she had been thinking. The petite blonde asked Lakayna if she had a certain place in mind. The dragon girl said she knew a place, and told them to follow her. Everybody began to follow her, and Kairi made sure to be next to Sora as they walked. Lakayna led them to a nice, large hill just outside the fairgrounds. The red head saw Sora grin, sit down, then pat the place next to him motioning for her to sit there. Kairi smiled brightly and sat down next to him. Just as they had done that the fireworks began. The night sky was suddenly filled with bright colors, all of the group looking up to see the amazing sight. Even with all the booming, the crimsonette heard Sora whisper "It's days like this that I wish would never end." The Princess smiled and whispered, "Yeah. Me too." Kairi was so happy that she had been able to spend the whole day with Sora, even if they hadn't always been alone. She was disappointed with herself though. Not once the entire day had she had the courage to tell the brunette how she really felt. But, the day wasn't over yet. The red head had seen Lakayna and Axel holding hands on their way here, and Naminé and Riku were always so close. Kairi wished it could be like that between her and Sora. So what was stopping her? Who knew when she was going to get a chance as good as this again? The Princess suddenly turned pink, feeling very nervous but also feeling a new found courage. Everyone was looking up at the sky so no one would notice, right? "Okay. Don't worry. Just keep thinking everything will be okay. You can do this," the crimsonette thought to herself taking a deep breath. Out of the corner of her eye she looked over at the Keybearer. Just as she did a very large and bright firework went off, lighting up his face. She smiled and looked back up at the sky. Then very slowly the Princess slipped her hand out of her lap and placed it onto Sora's, which was resting on the ground next to him. Yes! She did it! Barely breathing now Kairi turned to the Keyblade Master. "Sora... I..." she began in a soft whisper. We pray for our sorrows to end, and hope that our hearts will blend.

(i'm doing the time skip to halloween; just letting you all know now. let's make Halloween on a friday so they can all talk about what to do during lunch or something.) "An amazing end to a great day," Lakayna said as she watched the show illuminate the sky. The day had come to a great end and soon everyone was saying goodbye. Tomorrow they were going back to school. Good, old, normal school.
The days passed one by one. Soon enough, Halloween had come. Lakayna was sitting in lunch with all her friends; Sora, Riku, Hikari, Axel, Xion and everyone else she knew. They were talking about nonsense and laughing like friends do. Lakayna brought up the subject of Halloween. "We should do something really great for Halloween," she said after swallowing a bite of the grinder she'd gotten for lunch. Her eyes looked at each of the faces at the table. "Anyone got any ideas?" (someone else should suggest Halloween town and mention Jack Skellington or something.)

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxSoraxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxFinally back!!! I can rest up, hang with my friends and... Sora's cheeks turned pink as he felt Kairi's hand slip into his. Surely it was by accident. He started to pull his hand away when the crimsonette turned to him and started to speak. Although he was curious to hear what she wanted to say, she seemed nervous. He pulled his hand from her and grabbed her shoulder. She looked... like she might faint or something. "Are you okay?" he asked. He hesitated, and the fireworks show ended. He stood and helped her up. "Uh, look... I, um, why don't I help you home? You don't look so good..." His voice trailed off. Why had she grabbed his hand? Not that he didn't like it... But she didn't look stable at all. As much as it killed him to stop her like this, he bid farewell to the others and took the princess home. The trek home was long, quiet, and awkward. As much as the brunette wanted to ask what Kairi'd been about to say, he was equally nervous. So neither said a thing. Even when he told her good-bye and how great of a time he'd had, it was awkward. On his way home alone, he couldn't stop himself from thinking about what she'd been about to say, if she was alright, and if he'd just ruined their friendship in some way...
~
Many school days passed, and Sora still felt awkward around Kairi. He didn't like it. But everytime they talked, he tried to act the same around her. But he'd look in her eyes and suddenly he'd feel nervous and his face would redden. To avoid further embarrassment, he'd just stop talking. He didn't understand why things had been this way ever since the fair, and every night he'd lay in bed and hope that what she'd been about to say that night was what he'd thought it was. He never had the courage to ask, and still didn't.
Today was Friday, October 31. Halloween. Sora was sitting at his lunch table with all of his friends. Lakayna was talking about what they should do that night. Althought the brunette was distant, he had caught the word "Halloween". Immediately, he thought of his skeleton friend, Jack Skellington, which brought a smile to his face. Shoving all of his other thoughts -- which were mostly about Kairi -- to the back of his mind, he decided to throw in an idea. "Well, I do know a place..." he began slowly. "I'm sure you've all wondered where holidays come from, right? Well, there's this Holiday World I know. There's several little towns in it, and each one is responsible for each holiday, like Christmas, Valentine's Day, and Hallowen, for example. Well, I've been to Halloween Town. Jack, the Pumpkin King, is always really fun to hang out with and especially at this time of the year. So... Do you guys wanna go?" ((Oh, Midnight, you picked the worse possible time in Sora and Kairi's relationship to do a time skip! It's okay though. I think my post should sort things out. So, we'll finish their love talk later. Maybe when Sora asks Kairi to the dance??? ^^))GO TO SCHOOL!?!

Riku and Naminé sat side by side at the lunch table as they discussed holiday plans. Sora and Riku use to go out trick-or-treating but now they were too old. Or at least Riku was. He wasn't so sure about the brunette. When the Keyblade Master spoke up about Halloween Town the silvernette smirked. "Sounds good to me. I've yet to go there myself anyways," the Dark One agreed.
Ari tilted her head to the side as Sora spoke. Sure she knew about his worldly adventures but a world of holidays. "Sora, are you sure you're not making that up?" she asked her older brother from across the table between Blink and Lakayna. It would be cool if it was real. She'd like to go.
