The tiger roared once again as the Debido, now healed jumped out of the tiger, landing a few yards away. He transformed back and the tiger formed a barrier, but the tendrils stayed in Leiot. "What was that? Why'd you help me?" he asked Kai, shocked. He then noticed Kusargi charging and he sent a tendril to bind her.

Kusargi was stopped by the tendril in mid-step and watched the conversation as she tried to cut out of the tendril with the spike.

  "..Kusargi..stop.." he looked at Debido "...I don't know..we're the same I guess..." he sheathed his sword.Leiot simply watched.

The tendril seperated itself in two and hung Kusargi in the air by her arms. He looked over at Melody. "No, we're different. I have a past, a love...."
Kuroi groaned as he struggled up. "Shut up." he said firing a blast that was stopped by the barrier.

Kai looked down "..perhaps you're right...someone came for you.. while I'm a shadow of nobody in a world of empty faces.." he glanced at Kusargi "..people who help me seem to find a way of dying.."

Debido sighed. "Well if you're looking for sympathy, I'm the wrong dude. I've got nothing personal on you, but Melody does......and I remember some one who died and went to hell and back just to save your life." he said, thinking of Twilith.

"That's it?" she asked after she stopped struggling. "You don't want someone else you know to die?" Kusargi chuckled. "In case you haven't noticed-and you should have noticed-I'm not afraid of death. What I am afraid of is losing someone I truly care about."

Shina though she was alright when kai had spoken but, her heartbeat seemed to not beat as it should, now. It was slow and shallow... And it seemed with every time the two groups clashed, her heartbeat slowed even more...

Twilith watched from the trees intently. She was ready to strike the first one to hurt Kai with a bolt of lightning. Storm clouds began to move in from all sides.
Melodies eyes were closed, she was sitting on the ground speaking in spells. She finally opened her eyes. "Done, thanks for keeping them Debido." The shadows of the trees, rocks and anything around them slid along the ground. They came to merge together on the ground infront of Melody, making a bottomless hole in the ground. She bent down and pulled out a black shadow rope. The rope was a leash and on the other end was a huge black dragon. It crawled out and blew fire into the air. "Not afraid of death huh?" she murmured as she flicked the leash and the dragon flew straight toward Kusargi.

Kuroi stumbled over to Shina. "Shina why? You're killing yourself giving me life I don't need." he buried his face in her shoulder. "This is all my fault...."

Kusargi quickly put up her feet and created a foot thick shield of ice.
"You got that right. Especially from you, you little witch!"

Debido's hair stood on end as the clouds formed. He watched the sky cautiously.

As the fights continued Shina's heart slowed.. And it seemed when they stopped to talk, Shina's heart would begin to beat more normally.. Though it would only last when they weren't attacking each other..

Kuroi, knowing Melody wouldn't hold back started to worry about Shina. He then exhausted his mana to the point of collapsing trying to heal Shina.
