Victoria grabbed August from the hand. "No I wont go anywhere!Does it hurt him?Does it?", she said and made some steps towards Alexander.

Marco sighed. "You are very innoscent. I dont know his motives....", he said and looked suspiciously to Saint.
Saint sighed. "My motives?", he said. "I dont have any motives...I dont expect anything from anyone", he said and then looked at Artemis. "I am leaving. I am causing you trouble. Just remember the things we talked about. Its your choise", he said and turned to leave. Marco grabbed Artemis from the hand and brought her close to him violently. "What did you guys talked about?This b****rd changes your mind!", he said.
Saint returned. "Hey!This is not a way to treat a lady!", he said but he didnt show any emotions. He didnt even get closer to them. This guy looked really unpleasent and anrgy, and he didnt knew what he could do...

Artemis winced when he grabbed her arm. "Marco you are hurting me", she said and she tried to pull her arm free. "Hahahahaha!", Nathaniel jumped on the balcony. "Now now, Marco, thats no way to treat a girl", he said and he smiled at Artemis. She blushed and looked away. "Its alright Saint", she told him and made a face of pain. Marco was really hurting her. Nathaniel laughed again. "So the bird-boy is Saint? And who are you fairy-boy?", he asked Marco. Artemis frowned. "Who are you? Leave us alone", she said. Nathaniel shook his head. "Why are you being mean to me?", he asked her. "Oh well, I have to be mean to you then", he said. A dark sphere appeared on his hands. He laughed evilly and threw the sphere and Marco and Saint. Artemis looked at the ball with wide eyes. "No!", she shouted. She freed her arms and pushed both Marco and Saint out of the way. A shield of pure light appeared in front of her but it couldnt hold the sphere back. The shield cracked and broke. It hit Artemis and threw her up in the air. She crashed on the ground and she stayed still. Nathaniel tilted his head to the side. "oops. My bad", he said and laughed. "Hey, boys, have you seen Christopher?", he asked them. "I got some unfinished business with him", he said, ignoring the fact that he had hit Artemis badly. Around the girl was created a small pool of blood. Her white-blonde hair were soaked in blood and so where her clothes.

August bared his teeth. "of course its going to hurt! I am ripping his soul in two. Thats what you wanted. Now shut up and dont interfere!", he shouted and he pushed her away, throwing her down. He looked at Joanna. "Yes.I am going to kill Sarapen. Why? Dont you want me to?", he asked her, but somehow he already knew the answer. He sighed. "You are all giving me a horrible headache", he said and he placed his hands back on Alexander's temple. Alexander screamed in pain. "You! dont you dare!", Alexander's eyes were black. Sarapen bared his teeth but he couldnt get away from August. "No! I dont want to die!", he shouted. He glanced at Joanna. No. She was here. No. No. This wasnt fair. Why was she here? Why did she have to see this? "August, I swear I am going to take you down with me!", he growled and he attacked August. He pinned him down. August didnt pull his hands from Sarapen's temples and he kept chanting the spell. Sarapen screamed and he fell on his back. Then there was silence and Sarapen was perfectly still. A bright light blinded everything and everyone. When it faded, August was up on his feet and he was looking down at two men. One had pure white angel wings and white hair and eyes and the other had black angel wings, black hair and ice-blue eyes. They were both unconscious. August coughed. Darn. He should be resting, not separating souls. He coughed again and his shoulders shook violently. He covered his mouth with his hand. He looked at it and it had blood on it. He glanced at Victoria. "Happy?", he said at both Victoria and Joanna. He backed away and his body gave out and he collapsed on the floor. Sarapen and Alexander were breathing steadily. There was a mess of black and white feathers around them.

Artemis eyes opened. She coughed and some blood came from her mouth. She shivered. She looked around her, trying to understand where she was. SHe opened her mouth to speak but she couldnt find her voice. Then she heard Saint's scream and Marco's shouting. She brought her hand to her stomach. "oh no", she cried out. She slowly sat up. "saint...I am sorry...I didnt know....you would hurt if...if...something happened....to....to the.....baby", she said. She was crying so much she could hardly speak. She was shaking. Nathaniel laughed and he left. He was looking for Chris. She looked at Marco. He had done nothing to protect her. Nothing. After all these time he said he would. She looked at him with pure hatred in her eyes. She slowly got up. She leaned on the wall for support. She was breathing hard.

Alexander opened his eyes. Since August hadnt combined him and Sarapen he had all his memories. He smiled at her and hugged her back. "Victoria...." , his voice was weak. He closed his eyes again. He wanted to sleep so much. He leaned on her and he fell asleep right away. August coughed and he sat up. He looked pale and weak. He coughed again. He looked at Victoria. "are you happy now?", he asked her. His voice was harsh and weak. he was very weak. He hadtn healed from chris attack yet.

August growled. "Oh thanks for caring Victoria", he snapped at her. He laid back on the floor. he coughed. "s**t", he cursed. "You had to make me do that now", he muttered. "You couldnt wait a few more days! Noooo! You had to come and ask when I was attacked! of course! Why not? Its not like I can die like everyone else right?", he muttered, mockery and sarcasm in his voice. He sighed. "You didnt answer me", he said.

Artemis glared at him. "His fault?? HIS FAULT???", this was the first time he had seen Artemis truly angry. She went to Saint. "Are you alright?", she asked him. "I am so sorry saint", she said. She was still crying. She got up and she stood in front of Marco. "this is YOUR fault! Why did you have to be so jealous all of a sudden? Dont I treat you right? Have I dont anything for you to be jealous?", she kept shouting. She seemed like she was going to collapse for a moment but she managed to stay up. "Dont you dare come near me again", she said. "Our love died the moment our baby did", she said. "I dont want to see you again", she said. Her eyes closed and she fainted, falling on Marco.

August muttered. "Yeah...i should...if I could....", he said. He sighed. "Yeah. I will be fine. Really fine", he said. "Everyone thats dead is fine", he said and rolled on his stomach. "Yeah you didnt know. Its not like I got blood all over me and my wings arent out. Yeah, Its hard to guess that I was attacked", he said.

Artemis was cold and she was still shaking a little. She was curled up in a ball. She didnt love him anymore. She couldnt love him anymore. Not after the way he had treated her and their baby.

August growled. "Oh forget it", he said and he got up. "Its annoying when you pretend to care you know. Stay with your Alex. And take him to a bed", he said. He started walking away. Sarapen coughed and he woke up. He sat up and looked around him. Then at Alexander. He looked at his own body. "What???", he was surprised. "I....I....I have my own body!", he said.

Artemis opened her eyes. She looked at him. Oh, she had hurt him too. She got up and took a blanket with her. She went to him and wrapped the blanket around his shoulders. She hugged him from behind. "I am sorry. I souldnt have asked you to bless the baby", she said. "I am really sorry", she said. She let go of him and turned around walking away.

Artemis froze for a moment when he pulled her in the blanket with him. Then she hugged him and buried her face in his chest. She started crying. "I tried....I tried...to keep you safe", she said. "And she died", she said through her sobs. By you she meant both him and Marco. She was shaking. "I should go back to the forest where I belong", she said. "I shouldnt bother you anymore. I know you dont like being with others", she said and she tried to pull away from him.

August sighed and he stopped. "come on you idiotic girl", he muttered. He picked Alexander up and he took him to his room. Sarapen looked at Joanna. He smiled brightly. "Joanna!", he got up and run to her and hugged her. "Oh Joanna!", he said and he hugged her tighter.
