Darius waited in the water for a short while cleaning off the mud from his face and hair, though it really made no differance to the colour of his hair. He eventually got out of the water and shook himself dry. He then proceeded to put on his clothes and turned to Lily giving her a gentle hand.
"Shall we go?"

Lily turned away blushing as Darius stepped out of the water. As she heard his voice she turned back to see his hand open and waiting for her to take it. She did and smiled. "Yes. Let's go." Stood up, not letting go of Darius's hand and procceeded through the forest with Darius.

Darius walked through the woods with Lily until they reached a small clearing. It was a nice peaceful clearing with oak trees surrounding it. The sky showed an overcast setting that looked very dark. Darius found this to be slightly ominous.
There was a loud chuckling noise coming from one of the trees in the woods. It was a very dark chuckle, that made Darius feel even more nervous then he had been before.
"So...I've finally found the masters prodegy..." the voice replied in a cool voice.
"Who are you?" Darius called out to the voice.

Lily walked with Darius quietly through the silent and peacefulness of the forest about them. As they reached the clearing Lily looked at the sky seeing that it was getting darker, and Lily didn't think it was a coincidence at all. Lily jerked around, startled by the voice that had spoken to them. Her eyes scanned the trees rapidly looking to pin-point where the voice had come from. She pressed herself slightly closer to Darius and wispered. "I have a bad feeling about this....."

A figure walked out of the woods, a wicked sneer on his face. He was what looked to be a night elf. He had pale skin, green eyes and long black hair that ran down to his waist. He wore what looked to be a suit of dark armor and there was a sword in a sheeth that was tied around his waist.
"Why hello Darius," the elf said, "My master has been searching for you..."
Darius was utterly confused, who was this person? What did he want? Who was this master he spoke about?

Lily watched as the figure walked towards Darius and herself. He hadn't addressed her yet, and she didn't expect him too, her first instinct was to run, but she knew Darius wouldn't run and she wasn't leaving without him- not after all those times he'd risked his next for her. So she stayed pressed against him, holding his hand tightly wondering what this elf wanted and how she would be able to help if anything bad were to happen.

"You don't remember me?" The night elf replied to him with a sneer, "I guess I'll refresh the memory. First off my name is Kirik and-"
The night elf noticed Lily hanging close to Darius. He snickered and walked to her.
"Looks like you gt a clinger-on Darius...a hot clinger-on...but a clinger-on none the less..." the night elf proceded to run a cool finger down Lily's cheek giving her a mischevious look.
Darius did not know who this person was he didn't remember a Kirik but he could tell he was bad news.
"Get away from her!"

Lily looked at the man it disgust as he spoke to her. As he touched her, she cringed and pushed him away, as Darius yelled at him. This man was not something she wanted to have anything to do with. "I am not a clinger. I'm his girlfriend." she muttered under her breath as she let her hand slip out of Darius's. Who was this guy anyway and what did he want with Darius??

Kirik moved back slightly as Lily pushed him back. He kept that mischevious grin on his face as he turned to Darius.
"What? Is something the matter Darius?"
Darius grit his teeth togeather as Kirik taunted him. This man was getting on his nerves quite quickly.
"I guess you don't remember me..." Kirik said with an exagerated sigh, "Explaining things will be so tedious."
"What are you saying?"
"I was there when it happened Darius..."
"What!"

Lily gasped. She was now standing next to Darius, but still slightly away from him. She didn't want to look like a stupid little girl in front of this elf. Secretly Lily was scared of the man, but she knew she couldn't show it, for that would only proceed to give him another edge. So she stood next to Darius, as an equal not a follower and stared at the man. He was there when Darius got his wings? Oh man this can't be good at all......

Darius stared at him his eyes smoledering which ment that Kirik had definately angered him.
"Oh yes I remember it quite clearly...like it was yesterday...my master requested us to find a boy of complete innocence...someone who would be the perfect subject to use as a weapon...playing on his emotions of being taken away from his family to fuel the brewing monster."
Kirik walked around the fuming Darius body at a slow, yet brisk manor. Krik was a master at toying with peoples emotions that was what made people fear him. A man who could make even the most gentle sheperd go beserk with rage.
"The one problem with the transformation was that you escaped our grasps shortly after. Was it fun being a vagabond Darius? Did you enjoy it?"

Lily watched Kirik circle Darius, taunting him. Lily chlenched her teeth, feeling anger towards Kirik for toying with Darius, and she felt sorry for Darius knowing it would be inflicting him harder and deeper than it did for her. She wanted to tell Kirik to just shut up, but she felt this wasn't her battle, and maybe Darius wanted to hear this- just so he'd atleast know why what happened to him happened.

"Yes it was quite hard to find you Darius...how many schools have you been to? 5? 10? 15?"
Darius gave him a angry stare. In fact this school would be his...
"20?!?" Kirik said to him in mock shock, "Well, well, well...It seems like the master's idea really has paid off...Looks like emotions are not your strong suit are they?"
Darius just watched as the elf circled around him, his eyes livid.
"It must have been hard...having to live...no parents...no idea where they are...feeling unlvoed...feeling-"
Darius charged at him trying to punch the elf in the face. The elf nimbly dodged that attack and sneered at him.
"Alone..."

Lily stared at Kirik, disgusted with his tactics. As Kirik spoke it was all Lily could do to not run at him herself, but she stay put, trying to stay calm. Still she looked at Darius and then to Kirik and back. "I love him." she said in a just barely audible voice. She wasn't sure if now was the time for her to speak, that was why she said it softer than she'd wanted to, but she wasn't just going to stand there and watch Darius lose his cool to this elf...not if she had anything to say about it.

Darius couldn't hear what Lily had said. He was now lost in his own little world. Kirik's tactics had worked. He now began to attack the elf with as much force as he could but the elf just dodged almost playfully around the half-demon.
Kirik smiled as his plan fell into place, he had angered the beast now there was just one thing left to do...He grabbed Darius girlfriend and kissed her full on the lips. Grining a maniacal grin.
That did it...Darius's screamed a screach that Lily had heard once before. The screech of something not human...
Kirik broke the kiss and laughed, "He has arrived...thank you who ever you are you were most helpful..."
