The man walked in quietly and upstairs before Zy came in ans into the bedroom. He smiled softly when he saw Shaon and sat down, watching her.

Zy filled a cup of water and drank it. He looked around the living room as he took off his jacket. something seemed off; Zy headed up stairs to his wife.

As Zy entered, the man looked up. "Bout time, Zy. I thought my lil sis was gonna be alone for awhile. You really should be more aware. I slipped in too easily." Verus stroked Shaon's neck. "If i was soemone else, i coudl have just killed your wife."

Zy didn't like the way Verus spoke, even thought it was true, he didn't like him rubbing it in. What do you want? How did you know where we were? He asked shortly.

Verus cocked his head at Zy. "I followed your scent, it was easy. I'm here because I was following a rat, a hunter, if you will. I caught onto your scent while following him. So I decided to check on how you two were doing." Verus nodded, crossing his arms. "Shaon looks to be in good shape." he added cheerfully.

She can't move, is that normal? He asked, failing to mention the "exercise" The two of them did for half a day.

Verus leaned back on the chair, leaning it back oh two legs. "perfectly normal. Faes-females don't ya know-have their pups born faster, better chance of survival, overall, because they can be born quicker since werewolves are always in danger of being killed out in the wild. It takes a lot of energy and nutrient to do that, so it makes the fae very tired. if she was energetic, it would mean the pup wans't getting enough to eat or is nearing the final stages, normally in the last month. For month four and five, they are generally subject to more emotions-yeah, kinda like PMS, god annoying it is-and during the sixth and final, they are in a much better mood." he grinned, giving Zy the equivelant of a werewolf 101.

once he said it was normal for Shaon not to move, Zy stopped listening. He nodded his head as Vurus spoke, but only catching a few words here and there. Good to know. Zy wanted to ask him something, but didn't bring it up. So how hunting the hunter going? He asked.

"eh..." he shrugged. "the a** is scamming people out of their money, but still, what can you do?" she shrugged. he wanted to add somethign about shaon, but decided it could wait.

Ah. Tomas... something. He stopped by here. well there are legitimate hunters out there, but he did strike me as shady. He said as he cleaned up the clothes that was everywhere.

Zy was a little embarrassed, but since he brought it up... I was thinking... would it be better if Shaon was to live with your pack... until she gives birth.

Verus, not sensing Zy's reluctance to say so, broke out into hooting laughter. "HA!! ahahaha...." he was nearly choking. "shaon hated being in the pack. sneding her back with me would be like jail time, didn't you knwo she hated it?" he grinned, still chuckling.
shaon stirred from Verus' loud laughter, moaning softly and temporarily moving. though, soon she eturned to her previous sleeping pattern.

Zy glanced at Shaon and then back at Vurus. Well, I just thought sense i kill the old leader is dead, it would be better. Plus she would be better protected. he was sencerly thinking only for whats best for Shaon and the baby.

"man, oh man." he rubbed the stubble on his chin and then scratched his neck. "She doesn't like being a werewolf, Zy. she hates it. abhores it, even. she's downright afraid to be with her own kind. it would be miserable, even if it is safe." he sighed.
