Mitsuko returned to the mist, feeling very dizzy. Her training inside a chamber of ice had jeopardized her health, and the two nights without sleep didn't help either. Mitsuko went back to her old run-down shack of a Mizukage's mansion. It wasn't pretty, but it was home. Mitsuko sat down on the rotating chair, her only prized piece of furniture. The headache kicked in and Mitsuko felt a strange pain spreading in her temple...

Neoshin came around the mansion of the Misukage looking through it with his byakugan seeing Mitsuko inside he body flicked infront of it knocking on the door "Anyone home?!"

Mitsuko was snapped to her senses and realized that it was Neoshin...Why had he come here? Her mind started to hurt even more, but if he kept on knocking, he would have broken down the frail door. Mitsuo walked over and opened the door, not meeting his eyes. She put on a pot of tea and sat down, looking at her feet. The blood was pounding in her head and Mitsuko felt very faint indeed.

"I'm sorry, I..." Mitsuko tried blinking away the pain in her head. "I'm sorry I'm like this...and I'm sorry for what happened..." Mitsuko tried to smile, but it was very difficult...her sinuses felt like they were about to burn up. "I'm glad you came by..." said Mitsuko, and this time her smile was genuine. She thought that he would hold what she did against her, but she underestimated his faith as a friend, and this was like a cool towel on her feverish head.

He smiled innocently and laughed a bit holding his head

The kettle started squealing so Mitsuko reached out with the garian tou and brought it to the table. she poured the tea into two cups and waited for it to cool. It was stupid torturing herself with the ice chamber training, but she wasn't gonna let Neoshin know about that part...

Mitsuko gazed at his face, how does he manage to be so happy all the time? It was a mystery she can never solve...Mitsuko sighed and took off her hair ribbon, wiping her sweaty brow with it. There were sounds of people being strangled outside but otherwise there was total silence once more. A bundle of paperwork flew in through the window and hit her smack on the forehead...signalling the indifference of the world to the fact that Mitsuko was trying to relax.

Neoshin stopped laughing as he saw the paperwork come through the door seeing that she had work to do being the mizukage and all he knew he was being a burden at this point but he respected her customs in her work and stayed silent enjoying his time with his friend "Hey um do I need to go, or is this just some stuff you can do later, not that I don't respect you being the miszukage and having to do your work and all."

Mitsuko sighed and looked at the paperwork drearily...work was work. "Sorry, but I guess I do have work to do, so I guess I shall be seeing you later." Mitsuko really was sorry to see him go, but life moves on, and people will always be prey to circumstance. Mitsuko then noticed that the the paperwork had splashed some water over Neoshin's shirt. Mitsuko pulled out another hair ribbon and gave it to Neoshin. "wipe your shirt with it, and keep it please..." Mitsuko then bit her lip and went onto signing fieldtrip forms.

Hedoro

Hedoro got on the boat and left Hidden Cloud. Next stop was Hidden Mist, she had a technique that she wished to learn, and according to what she'd heard, the master of it lived there. So she sat in the boat, waiting to arrive at her next destination. It was taking a while, a bit longer than she thought it would. So she began to run through all the different techniques she knew, to make more plans for the upcoming exams.
(1 of 10)

She had a sizable collection of techniques she had learned, so now she could begin to string them together, into various combinations and strategies. Obviously, she could not use each technique in the same way, nor would she want to. Instead, she started to run through the best and worst scenarios for each technique she had. What could be the best possible situation for using this technique? And what was the worst situation for that technique?
(2 of 10)

Obviously, it was impossible to know the real best and worst situation, but she could easily come up with situations that would be close to either the best or the worst. In the end, much of these ruminations were largely useless, real battles had a way of throwing carefully laid plans out the window. These would just serve as a vague guideline, something to keep in mind when the real battles began.
(3 of 10)

Through all of these thoughts, the boat got closer and closer to Hidden Mist, and eventually it arrived. She snapped out of her reverie, and disembarked along with all of the other passengers. Looking around, she tried to think of where her quarry was located. The master of the technique she sought. They weren't an average citizen of Hidden Mist, either. The majority of the techniques in this village dealt with water and mist, but his dealt with lightning.
(4 of 10)

And as such, these techniques were useful to her. Not necessarily to learn all of them, but to at least learn the defensive ones. Lightning was one of her bigger weaknesses, after all. And a pretty obvious one, to those who knew what she really was. That was merely one of the reasons that she tried to keep her true self hidden. So it came as no surprise that she would try to learn the technique to try to safeguard herself from what seemed an eventuality.
(5 of 10)

For someone with a big weakness, protecting that weakness became a driving force, something they kept in mind every minute of every day. And even if they didn't, it still played a part in their day-to-day life. As she thought this, she moved throughout the village, looking for the master of the technique she desired. She hoped she'd find him soon, the longer she spent searching, the less time she had for training.
(6 of 10)

As if that particular train of thought summoned him, she saw Raiga when she turned a corner. She went up to him and asked if he would teach her his Lightning Armor technique. He scoffed, saying a weak little girl like her had no chance of learning such a powerful technique. He seemed very extroverted and overconfident, but then again, quite a few older ninja did the same. It shouldn't have been a surprise.
(7 of 10)

And in fact, it wasn't. She had been prepared for this, although actually it had been prepared for the first one to take this attitude, not necessarily Raiga in particular. She changed tacks, instead making herself seem even weaker to him, saying that yes, she was weak. That was why she needed such a masterful technique, then she'd be safe from anything. Pure drivel, the lot of it. But like any other egocentric ninja, Raiga enjoyed having his ego stroked.
(8 of 10)

And, of course, it worked. He laughed boisterously, and said she was very smart for such a little girl. With that, he agreed to train her. As he went through the technique, he took on a very self-aggrandizing tone. Not very surprising, but it did make the lesson take longer than it really should. She payed attention to the important parts, and soon got the technique down easily. But he still kept going on, and she just wished he'd shut up so she could go.
(9 of 10)

Finally, he stopped talking, and told her to try the technique. Not that he expected her to actually do it. When she did, he stopped laughing and stared at her with a tiny, tiny mote of almost-respect in his eyes. He then laughed again, saying how kids these days never ceased to amaze him. She grumbled and thanked him for taking the time to teach her. Walking away, she took her leave, heading back to the docks.

Hedoro

But on the way, Hedoro recalled there were stil some other techniues here that she could use. But what were they? As she tried to think of them, she turned from her path to the docks, and instead turned to head back into the middle of the city. There weren't too many techniques here, and about half of them were reserved for the members of the clans that had devloped them. Of course, those were the stronger half of the village's techniques.
(1 of 5)

So of the few that remained, what should she try to learn? There were quite a few interesting sounding ones, but she didn't feel that they had a sense of urgency to them, that she needed them now, before the exam began. She just may change her mind after thinking about it for a while, but for now she didn't feel like worrying about them. Instead, she tried to think of the other techniques, the ones she felt could very well be useful for what was to come.
(2 of 5)

She stopped moving once she reached the center of the town, and looked around. Maybe she'd see one of the people she was looking for, and that would make her decision that much easier. Obviously, go with the person that she could see right in front of her, rather than spend who knew how long looking for someone else. So she settled in for a wait, trying to keep an eye on the people that walked past her.
(3 of 5)

As she looked, she saw someone that seemed halfway familiar, like she'd seen their picture in a book. It took her a moment to recall their name, then it came to her. Mizu Haku, associate of Zabuza Momochi. Maybe he'd be willing to share the secrets of one of his techniques with her. She went up and asked just that. She hoped to learn the Mist Instantaneous Body Skill, hopefully he'd be willing to help her learn it.
(4 of 5)

Haku considered the request for a moment, and nodded. Unlike Raiga, Haku was a quiet, yet confident ninja. Even though they were from the same village, their attitudes couldn't be more different. Haku began the lesson, and it went much quicker than Raiga's had. It only took a brief explanation and a single demonstration, and Hedoro found herself able to perform the technique by herself. She thanked Haku, and returned to the docks, to go to another village like she'd planned.

As soon as Iruka gave Aozame the headband he began walking out of the forest. He tied the headband to the sash on his chest. As he walked back to the village he began noticing his surroundings change. There was more moisture in the air than usual and it was more concentrated. It was visibly getting harder to see. For a normal person it would have been harder to breath with the increase moisture but because of Aozame's gills it only allowed him to breath better. The only problem he was having was seeing. His sight was bad enough withough the desnse mist.

1/8

With the mist, sight was almost impossible. Aozame was becoming more uncomfortable with his surroundings. He then realized what was causing the dense. He smirked and muttered "Hidden mist skill. I should have known it was you Zabuza." Zabuza's presence became obvious behind Aozame. "Shouldn't you be dead?" he added. Zabuza made a creepy laugh and said "Who ever said i was alive? I'm only here in spirit. I've come to ask you some questions." Aozame realized this could be an opportunity to learn skills from him. Aozame then smirked.

2/8

"Well i don't know about what but i'll answer them in exchange for you teaching me some techniques." He said. Zabuza gave another chuckle and said "Well you've become quite the negotiator. I suppose so. I expect you'll be wanting my water clone and hidden mist skill right?" Aozame replied "Exactly." Zabuza then said "But the hidden mist skill would be useless to someone who's already half blind." Aozame then said "Well thats not really your concern. I'll figure it out somehow. Now ask your questions." Zabuza then said "Very well then."

3/8

"Tell me any information you have on Kisame." He said. Aozame laughed and said "Well, he's from the same clan as me and i havn't seen him since i was five. Last thing i heard from him was that he left the village and joined the Akatsuki organization." Zabuza then said "Tell me something I don't know." Aozame then replied "Thats pretty much all i know about him, so your guess is as good as mine. Weren't you in the Seven Swordsman of the Mist with him? That should give you a lead." Zabuza stayed quiet for a minute and said "Well i really havn't heard about him since I left those foolish people."

4/8

"Well at least now i know who to find him with. I suppose i should just try and track down Raiga. He might know of his where abouts" Aozame then laughed and said "Well good luck with that. Raiga is dead. Last thing i heard about Kisame was that he was spotted in hidden leaf with that Uchiha character. You know, the one that slaughtered his clan." Zabuza's eyes widened as he recognized that clan name. "Uchiha....i fought an Uchiha in my final battle." Aozame then said "I heard that the only survivor of the Uchiha masacre was his little brother."

5/8

"Supposidly he's looking for his big brother so he can take his revenge. All you need to do is find that Uchiha and he'll lead you straight to Kisame." Zabuza paused and said "I see...and where would i find this young Uchiha?" Aozame replied "According to the rumors, he abandoned leaf to become Orochimaru's apprentice in sound. You should start your search there." Zabuza began absorbing the knowledge he had been given and said "Well looks like you were a bit usefull after all." Aozame then said "Why do you want to see Kisame anyway?"

6/8

Zabuza replied "Thats really none of your concern. I just have some unfinished bussiness with him. Maby give him a little scare seeing that a ghost is chasing after him." Aozame laughed and said "Would you scare him enough to leave that organization and come back to mist?" Zabuza replied "Highly unlikly. I suppose i could slip in a few words but no promises." Aozame nodded and said "Well now that i've kept my end of the bargin, its your turn to keep yours." Zabuza sighed and said "Well i suppose i don't really have much of a choice do i?"

7/8

"Well i suppose you could just vanish but i'd be a very annoyed shark. Would you really want to deal with that in the afterlife?" Aozame said. Zabuza laughed and said "Well i wouldn't want that now would I. I'll teach you them anyway. I'm going to teach you the hidden mist skill first. Basically you just condense the moisture in the air around you to make a dense fog. Its as simple as that. Since you can't see my hands making the signs, i'll just say them out loud to you." Zabuza then began dictating each hand sign so that Aozame would memorize them.
