Shannon carefully arranged the small cushions that they had collected and then the wool blanket into a kind of sleeping bag. She was still exhausted but she didn't want to sleep. Sayid was helping the others keep out the rain and wind and even though she'd been the one to send him away she felt lonely and realized how little she had talked with the other survivors...She felt Sun was a friend but she barely knew Claire, and Jack...well Jack was the doctor, everyone knew him. Of course there was Boone and Sayid...She smiled at the thought of Sayid. "I'm such a ******** loser..." She muttered tiredly, burrowing beneath the blanket.

Sun loved all of the attention she was getting from Jack. It was something she wasn't used to, but it was a nice change. Jin had never had the time for he. He was always away, working. Sun supposed that back in the real world, it would be the same with Jack, but that didn't matter because they weren't in the real world. She glanced outside and noticed the storm beginning to lighten up outside. The rain wasn't coming down nearly as hard and the clouds were beginning to separate.
"The storm is almost over," Sun said lightly.
She only hoped that Jack would still be as close to her after the storm as he had been during it.

Shannon watched those around her and raised an eyebrow as another wave of nausea washed over her. Damnit...she had none of Sun's infusion or tea left. She hugged a pillow to her chest and cursed under her breath.

Jack was growing anxious and decided to stand up and walk around the caves for a little while, he smiled at Sun and stretched.

Sun yawned and looked up at Jack.
"Where are you going?" She asked.
She didn't really need an answer, after all, she trusted Jack with all her heart, but she figured a break in the silence would be nice.

Jack continued to stretch, "Just going to walk around here for a bit." Jack yawned with a smile and walked toward the cave entrance.

Sun smiled and nodded as she watched Jack walk away. Sun looked around the caves at all the people that had gathered since the storm had begun. She noticed Shannon sitting at the back of the caves, hugging a pillow and looking completely miserable. Sun stood up and walked around a bit to stretch her legs, approaching Shannon.
"Hey Shannon. Do you need anything?" Sun asked.
She looked around and saw Jack standing at the entrance to the caves, looking out at the passing storm.

Jack was concerned about the people who hadn't made it up to the caves, it was possible they had decided to brave it out on the beach. Jack turned around to see Sun talking with Shannon, he decided to let them talk alone.

"Do you have anymore of that tea you made for me the other day?" She asked softly, turning her head to peer up at Sun. Instinctively she scooted over to make room in case teh other woman wanted to sit down.

((V_L, I'm RPing you for this scene, just a little so please, forgive me, and feel free to move shannon around when you need to as well))
"Of course...I just need to boil some water, I'll be back." She smiled sympathetically at Shannon and headed to where the fire was. Shannon rolled onto her back and tried to take a deep breath. She'd heard all sorts of horror stories about morning sickness, but was one supposed to feel dizzy and have a fever? She wasn't sure and it wasn't as if she had the convenience of the internet to help her solve her problems, or rather worries.
Lying on her back only made her more nauseas and she turned back onto her side and hugged the pillow against her stomach and used her free hand to massage where she believed her womb to be, where Boone's child had defiantly taken root wihtout considering her feelings in the matter.
She tried to think of something distracting, to take her mind from the illness that was affecting her. Instantly her thoughts traveled to Sayid and she watched as he worked alongside the others-ever the vigilant soldier and always ready to help. The rain glistened against his skin and for a brief moment the desire to lick away the water droplets superceded any nausea, heat or dizzyness, but then it came back with a vengence and she curled up more tightly, wishing more than anything that she could just take some kind of sleeping pill and just sleep for the next couple of months.

Sun walked around the caves, gathering what she needed for the tea. Luckily, Sun had left some extra herbs with Jack's equipment, in case of such a situation. She took the herbs and put them in a container of boiling water, waiting for the tea to infuse. After a few minutes, she poured the hot water into a water bottle and topped it off with cold water. Sun shook the water bottle to make sure everything was dissolved that needed to be. She then took the tea back over to Shannon who was laying on her side, her arms folded across her stomach. Sun knelt next to the woman.
"Here you are, Shannon. Are you alright? Do you want me to get you anything or anyone?" Sun asked lightly.

Jen picked up a near by stick. She started drawing a picture in the dirt to ocupy her. Every now and then she would stop and think and then continue drawing.

Heather may not have had a floore yet, but she put the tarp up first before getting to that. So far the design was working out. She watched as the rain slowed and became only droplets.
Heather spent alot of time on this. Time away from everything that was going on. Too much of a soap opera. She knew she couldn't stay away forever. Eventurally she would have to come out of hiding and join the rest of the castaways.
Heather went on to the caves and saw Shannon curled up and Sun giving her tea. She remembered seeing them and Jack talking but she didn't know for what. Now seeing Shannon curled up like that she is now wondering if it was something important. As she took a step forward she had a flash sight of Shannon's tummy getting big. Heather's eyes went wide, "Ohhhh no."
Another one? It looks to be a real comunity was starting to develope. Well, having lots of children around would be wonderfull. Heather walked up to the two, "Hi, how are things going here?"

"How about a shot gun?" Shannon joked weakly. Why was she suddenly feeling so sick? Apart from the nausea, that was.
