"Well my arm is bleeding and this has to do with Mr. Mom." she said to him nervously.

"Oh. That is important." Cam said, understanding to a degree what she was talking about. He looked around, then at her. "Are you going to be alright?" he asked softly. He truly cared for her, and didn't want anything bad to happen to her.

Anna-Marie sighed. Life was at a low. Seriously. She just wished she could see when it would all be over. She walked next to Abigail up to the school. It didn't have the same feel as it used to. It was saddening. .

"I'm okay. I just think the mark started bleeding. Voldemort is close. Very very close. Maybe not physically, but mentally he's close to me. She looked back at the shrieking shack and the fence for a moment and thought perhaps she saw a skull with a serpent wrapped through it in the distance, but as she blinked it was gone. "Meet me in the forbidden section of the library after dinner and I'll tell you everything." she whispered to Cam in a rush for fear of someone over hearing.

"Do you think it's safe to split up though?" Cam asked quietly. "I really like you...I don't want you to be hurt. Maybe we should stick together, until this blows over." he said. If Voldemort came a-knocking, he wouldn't stand a chance...but he'd sure as hell try.
And Voldemort wasn't human...thus, an unforgivable curse wouldn't send him to prison.

Cherry considered what Cam said for a moment. He was probably right. If she was alone again, Voldemort might try to use her to speak again. They had more than a connection of good and evil, they were bound by blood and genetics. "You're probably right. I don't think being alone is good for either of us. But I do have to go to the restroom and rinse my arm. Will you wait for me outside the lavatory?" she asked him. She squeezed his hand foro some assurance.

"Of course." Cam said, giving her a reassuring kiss on the lips. "If anything at all goes wrong, shout immediately. I don't care that it's the girl's lavatory...if you're in danger, I'm coming in." he added.

Cherry smiled and skipped in to the lavatory. She walked to the mirrored wall with the sinks and rolled up her sleeve. The dark mark was bleeding but she ran worm water over it and it began to slide down the drain. Suddenly had the same splitting headache as before, and her vision blurred as if she was seeing through the eyes of a snake. When she looked into the mirror she saw the eyes of her father had replaced her own. Slowly her voice cracked again into a hiss. Yes my dear... you'll never get away now... I will get you.... Cherry screamed as loud as she could, "No!". She punched the reflection of her face half evil and half still herself and slid to the floor.

Cam leaned against the wall next to the lavatory door and waited. Just in case, he had his wand out, spinning it between his fingers. He didn't hear the hissing voice, but he definitely heard Cherry shout. He ran inside, his wand held high, but simply found her on the floor. "Cherry!" he said, kneeling next to her.

Cherry held her head in her hands and tried to cry. "Not even your friendsss can save you now my dear... No one will keep you from me... except death... Cherry shivered and bit her lip. She knew Cam was beside her and he couldn't see her eyes. She couldn't let him. "I'm not afraid of you. I would rather die than be like you. I'm good like my mother was." Cherry said through gritted teeth, pushing her fists to her forehead. She blinked hard, hoping she would soon be able to see like herself again, but the snakelike vision remained.

"Come on, fight him, Cherry..." Cam whispered. To help her and comfort her, he wrapped his arms around her and hugged her tightly. "Don't let him get to you. He's lying. He's trying to make you believe all hope is lost. It's not." he whispered reassuringly.

Finally the pain splitting in her mind was gone and Cherry blinked and looked up. Her eyes were back to their normal green and the bleeding in her arm stopped. Their was blood and water around her on the lavatory floor from the overflowing sink. She looked down at her knees and wrapped her arms around them. "He can do this... because we're bound by blood. I can't run from that." she whispered finally looking Cam in the eyes. "How am I going to pull this off? Not telling anyone? I'm terrible at magic as it is unless I'm doing something bad. I don't believe in myself enough to defeat him.". She buried her face close to her knees and started to shake from being cold, wet, and scared.

Cam reached up and turned off the sink, then got up and led Cherry over to a dry wall they could sit against. He pointed his wand at the entrance of the lavatory and cast a spell to keep people from coming in...for the moment. Once that was done, he held her close. "Cherry..." he said softly. "You can do this. You just need to believe. You have friends that can help you-" he remembered Raven and the others in on the plan...the ones with the mirrors "-and you have me. Together we'll help you. Don't give up hope." he whispered.

Cherry wiped her eyes. She'd never let someone see her cry before or fall so weak. It wasn't in her to be so small and vulnerable, no matter how much she appeared to be so, she kept up a front anyway. "You're right. I need to believe. And if I can't, maybe in someway, the people I've lost can for me." she said wiping away the tears and finally standing on her own two feet. She hugged Cam and whispered into his ear, "Thank you... for just being you".
