Cable in general, not so great on channels. Ocassionally the History channel plays something interesting, or sci-fi or FX, but mostly it's not all that interesting.

Yeah I saw a really good documentary on Comic books the other day on the history channel. It was really cool.

Yeah, they've showed that a couple of times. I've got it on tape somewhere. I wish they'd do a new one, or maybe something more in line with Men of Tomorrow, about the history of the industry as opposed to just superheroes. Not a lot of people know that before doing comics, National was a notorious pornographer.

I would really recommend reading Men of Tomorrow, by Gerard Jones. Learn how Bob Kane blackmailed DC into giving him full creator rights over Batman (at a time where such a thing didn't exist), how DC comics is connected to the mafia and how DC once almost owned Marvel comics.

Comic history is some of the most interesting stuff. I need to start getting books on Japanese comics history.
