My mom didn't believe me when I told her that homeless people sleep under the overpasses in Tulsa.
But they do! I've seen them!

Of course, I'm looking at it as a person who isn't really much of a 'gamer' anymore... so the cutscenes don't bother me at all. I never played Phantom Brave. Hell, I never even played Disgaea. I DID, however, buy La Pucelle. surprised

It's not the cutscenes that erk me, it's the leveling system. I didn't get an instruction booklet with the game so I have no idea what the hell I'm doing.
La Pucelle is awesome. cool
If I can figure out the EXP/Tech thing, then I might keep it. But none of the Guides on GameFAQs really help and the game doesn't explain it. So I'm not sure when you level up that your stats go up as well. I'd hate to have to put Tech points into health and other stats and spend most of the game just leveling up.

It's been a while since I played Ep. I, but I'll try to explain if I can. As far as I know, your stats DO go up when you level up... using the points is really just a way of artificially boosting it. Now, I've heard some people say that it's best to spend a lot of points on stat boosting early on, while it's still pretty cheap - that it makes the game easier later on. Personally, I never bothered upping stats unless I just had some extra points and nothing else to spend them on, so it's really not a big deal. One thing I did notice is that you WILL have to do some pretty tedious leveling up if you want to get all your character's ultimate techs but again, I never bothered to do that, and I didn't have any problems. The poker mini-game is addictive. xd

Ahhh! Good, good! Now I understand. I may keep it afterall.
Also, the the Triangle button is related to an Ether attack? When I use an Ether attack does it to anything to my MP or something?

SJL Ahhh! Good, good! Now I understand. I may keep it afterall. Also, the the Triangle button is related to an Ether attack? When I use an Ether attack does it to anything to my MP or something? Not a triangle attack, I don't think. Most of the characters simply have a 'physical' attack (square) and an 'ether' attack (triangle). I don't think you actually burn any MP unless you use an actual Ether skill. Ichigo>> Yes, I'm a horrible liar. I need to be punished. neutral

What about Techs? I went to the Tech screen and they had this set thingy and use T.Points.
It didn't seem like I could really learn more techs. @_@

I had to go bust out my copy, on account of forgetting so much. confused
