A pre-spiel warning post for y'all...
Good afternoon, Muffcakers. The next post contains an out-of-the-blue discourse by me, Jinsei. It pertains to The Muffcake Tavern's recent inactivity and noticeable sluggishness.

Jinsei's Spiel
So. I was sitting here on my butt on this lovely Sunday afternoon, and a thought struck me. Like *chunk*, a thought chunked me on the head. Why are Muffcakers leaving? Why all the inactivity? What's the basis of the Muffcake Tavern? Whose duty is it to stir up a little action around here?
Perhaps it's not really my duty anymore, since that's more up Izu's ally. But titles and duties and responsibilities have never stopped me before. I'm usurping the just-made-up position of...The Muffcake Minion!
Hahahahahaha!
When I think of something better, I'll let y'all know.
Anyway. I'm going to bring in cool new members, come up with contests, unleash an irrestible, beckoning call to the old members who have grown less active, create new threads, clean out the old threads, and revitalize this pile of wonderful randomness that is The Muffcake Tavern.*
Think of it as a makeover, the turning of a new and wonderful leaf, if you will. I'll try my best to fulfull these actions and bring the tavern back to life. And if I ever get discouraged (which I won't), I'll just think of all of your smiling chibi faces, and be renewed.
*Provided that all these declarations of mine don't just fizzle into nothing. Knowing me, I'll get distracted during the first week. This is your duty: kick me and get me back to work.

You went psycho when I left for a little bit didn't you? But yeah we do need new members...should we scout out some literate people and do mass invites?
Yeah it's an rpg.
And yeah. It was pretty funny because I was going to get her some funky sandals.

Yes, I think we need to do some careful and thorough recruiting. We need some literate, fun, and active new people to launch this new and improved Muffcake Tavern of the summer of 2006. xd

Jinsei The Muffcake Minion is not crazy. Far from it. scream Yes, I think we need to do some careful and thorough recruiting. We need some literate, fun, and active new people to launch this new and improved Muffcake Tavern of the summer of 2006. xd ^^;; We could advertise in our signatures. ^^;; Or we could start a thread in the Registered Guilds area saying we're recruiting members.
