I wish I had friends around. I'm still waiting for my first pay check so instead of putzing around Gaia on Saturday nights, I can go to the arcade/family entertainment center and putz around there. Big change from Gaia, rolleyes little kids running around every which way shouting and begging for attention. Well, many saturday or friday nights, I can be found frolicking around bowling allys or the movies...or TGIFs. Kyle_Rayner Anyway. Question. What is with the AG'ers obsession with backlog? You guys come into a thread (well, two or three of ya) and start responding to posts from hours ago. Thing is, the person who posted it is no longer there, and is most likely not going to backlog enough to find it. And it makes it all weird trying to continue the conversation when somebody is bringing up stuff from the beginning of it. stressed Most of us it seems to be a force of habit. Back in the day (Like before even I joined up) nearly every one Backlogged the Anti-sticky, because everyone else was doing it. Plus, anyone that was around for the first time the comment was made has had time to think up an even better response, or just get another good laugh out of it. -theory-

Streamjumper Kyomi Terakada Pardon my stupidity... but... what exactly is backlog? is far more suited to explain the Sacrement of Backlog, but I'll take a shot. Its going back through a thread to see what happened before you arrived. If you were there before, you just start off with where you left for the night. This and Perfect Hair Forever at the same times had me laughing for.... well, ever.

And now that I've got my breath back, and am too lazy to go forward and use the edit button: Kyomi Terakada Pardon my stupidity... but... what exactly is backlog? Backlog is the act of going back into a thread to where you last left it and reading what you missed, usually between the time you went to sleep and the time you woke up, or any other time you've missed out on conversation. Or, if you want a more technical explination: The Back consists of going back in time. The Log is just that, a log of what has happened, what a forum is in general, a giant chat log that isn't in real time. xd

Possessed!!! scream Either that or he's taking his position seriously... which is a good thing, but also kind of frustrating for people who've been around for a while. I admit, I have a hard time following his logic sometimes, but then I check the rules, and it usually is in there.
