Shadow left his room after the difficult task of getting his daughter to go to sleep. Things where getting difficult for him now that Cassidy had disapeared without a trace once more. He was worried for her since she had little knowladge of the world around her as well as little knowladge of self defence. Shadow slowly walked to the stairs and started down them. As he decended he heard Vickilyn calling out. "Joyful, more work." He mumbled to himself as he headed to the door. He noted that a being was standing int he main hall already. "Can I help you?" He asked the stranged in the main hall.

Alonwe was walking around the block, looking for a place to stay. She really didn't have a preference, it's not like too many places want to let a centaur inside anyways, so being picky would get her nowhere. Shaking out her long hair, she hand brushed the long strands with her left hand absentmindedly and the other held onto the end of her shirt, rubbing the edges a little nervously.
Her unshod feet made a delightfully light clicking sound on the ground, not the loud stereotypical 'clip, clop' that you hear when shod horses or centaurs roam the streets. Adjusting her backpack quickly, she continued along on her way, noticing the houses and how uninviting they looked. After an hour of searching, to no avail, having doors slammed in her face, she continued on, because there was not much else that she could do. Turning the last corner, she noted a large mansion-esque place and gave a sigh-shrug. "It's not like there's no room..." she thought to herself as she quietly sauntered over to the gateway and looked around for a bell of some sort, or a knocker.
She noticed another girl over there, near the entrance and another was walking over. She gave the thought of walking away another shot, but then shook her head, knowing that she really should not leave a place just because they looked busy. She walked up next to the girl, trying to be as silent as she could, unshod feet and all, and stood silently next to the girl, almost as if she were her protector. She did, afterall, have a sword at her waist.

Shadow waited for a moment, the person who he has origonaly came down to see seemed to have gone off into thier own little world for the moment. Given this development he turned his attention to the other that had just apeared at the doors. "Maybe I can help you?" He said as he looked the other up and down in his usual maner. Shadow really just wanted to get everything done, show them to the dinning room then get on to relax for a while. He was alot more tense than he had been previously.

"Yeah, a whole slew of them" I said a little excitedly, "and I know a few residents who could teach you a few things." A maid brought a glass of blood and placed it in front of me so instinctively I took a sip, "I bet you could learn alot in from the books in the library"

Alonwe looked at the man, who suddenly seemed to be talking to her and blinked a few times, and then responded,"Um, yes. I was wondering if I could stay the night..." She frowned a little bit, feeling uncomfortable. Not many places would willingly house a full-grown centaur.

"Well, I have no clue..." I paused thinking about how I had never bother to look through those books in the library. "Want to go check them out?" I asked stacking the books lie I was getting ready to take them back to the library, "if you want I can show you the section in the library for spells, wards, incantations, and things like that"

Shadow shrugged his shoulders and cracked his neck before responding, "Sure, why not. Second floor room at the end of the second corridor. That one is still free... I think. Come on in and rest up. If you are in need of some kind of refreshment I can lead you to the dinning room before you take up your room." Shadow said as he stood aside and gestured for the being to enter the mansion.

Zero walked through the manor just to explore. He wanted to know what his little sister had to live in. He sighed before walking into the main hall and looked around.

Uriel Phazed through a window, unhindered momentarily as his body lost its corporeality, his flesh turning to light as he movedthrough beforeshifting back, restoring his flesh and blood body.
" HELLO?" He called out loudly from the Mansion's first floor, by the kitchen.
" CAN ANYONE HEAR ME!?"

"The shelf is on the south east side, have fun, oh and it's labeled" I said as she walked away.
I took my books and carried them up to my room, since I figured I'd be there for a while. But just as I set them on my dresser I caught an odd scent, "another new person?" I asked myself heading back into the hall, "a male" I muttered following the scent

"Well, people are always on the move around here. No time for anything these days." Shadow said to himself as he headed for the dining room. He needed a little time to relax after spending every waking moment of the past few weeks looking after his daughter while Cassidy had disapeared. "Lucky for me the war is over." He mutetred as he took his usual seat int he dinning room.
