Ooh, didn't mean to scare everyone!

The procedure itself doesn't hurt at all (ok, so there is pressure and it isn't the most comfortable thing in the world, but there isn't really any pain... and trust me, my pain threshold is
looooooow). Afterwards... erm, just make sure you pop whatever pain med they give you right after surgery and to keep an ice pack on the side of your face. I popped the pill but thought I was cool s**t and wouldn't need the ice pack.
Gawd was I wrong... my face swelled up on the side I had the wisdom teeth extracted and I looked like a lopsided balloon. Not to mention the EXCRUCIATING PAIN from the swelling...
I learned from my mistake though. The 2nd time I went in a few months later to get the other 2 teeth extracted on the other side, I popped my pills and put an ice pack on my face immediately afterwards, when I got home. That went sooo much easier... The pain was very bearable. It was a really sad sight trying to eat and brush my teeth though.
rofl I was so paranoid about getting
dry socket. I heard that hurts much worse than the pain from oral surgery as it's pain in the bone. Even pain killers won't affect it and you need to go back to your dentist to get some medicine packed in every day til it heals
