As has been said, The left tower falls down on the ground with a crashing sound.
What wasn't said is that due to the castle being a few hundred feet in the air, the stones from the tower that didn't fall on the courtyard, went soaring through the air, and right down onto the village it just happened to be above at the moment. Crushing a few buildings and killing a few innocent people.
