~///~ So-- we would have to wear some sort of special eye piece hnn?
*What Mastema was proposing sounded interesting, but if one wanted to use the screen at any given time in this fashion they would require this lens. So what would this lens look like? Would it be large or small? Would it cover one or both eyes? Might it look like a simple pair of glasses or would it be a single lens covering one eye only? Did Mastema even have a design in mind already or was he open to working together on the functional design with Nana, and whom ever else might like to use it? All the while Mastema had been talking, Nana had strategically positioned him the way she wanted him to be. While Mastema turned his attention to his caressing Nana, she would stare back at him from above. He was such a beautiful thing; moving a strand of his hair away from is face, she would smile*

"Any way you look at it, that's the general result, but that doesn't mean I have to make something ugly." There was no real point in trying to change his position. It was given that if Mas really didn't like the position, he'd find a way to change it anyway. There was nothing wrong with given Nana a little bit of control over the situation. Mastema only smiled back at Nana, thinking much the same of her as she was of him. "I could make something like an accessory for the lens, a special monocle or pair of glasses perhaps. Something handheld is also possible. Or, I could even make a special kind of contact lens." Shifting, Mastema would make sure he was laying flat on the bed, with little in the way of leverage against Nana that he could use. "The security comes from the different properties I told you about. I would assign one setting to you, another to Trilla, and others to Micha and Eecheb, and of course there are more for everyone else. Then each of you would have a special lens made for you based on that set of properties. Thus, even if you wore the lens when looking at someone else's private screen, the masking light wouldn't be filtered." Without being able to embrace Nana the same way he was a moment ago, Mastema opted to raise his hands and wrap them loosely around Nana's waist instead.

A contact lens wouldn't be so bad, though I can already see the children trading them, loosing them, and taking them from one another for what ever reason... Hnn~, we'll have to think of some rules to lay down so that won't happen, and so they know there are consequences for it...
*Continuing to stare down at Mastema, Nana would chuckle lightly to herself, then moving her head a little, as to tent her hair over Mas as she had done in the past. A long placed kiss would follow to each of their lips, before Nana drew back to stare at Mastema lovingly again*

It was definitely a concern with the kids, but each would probably value his or her own privacy and would take care of the lens. Mastema didn't make any response until after Nana had kissed him. He knew she enjoyed any kind of romantic contact, but Nana seemed to have a particularly strong love of kissing. Then again, Mastema had probably taken advantage of this in the past anyway. "I don't think it's complicated. They'll know they'll get in trouble and evoke disappointment if they intentionally steal one another's lens. I think they're responsible enough to look after something they can call specially made for them. They at least haven't done anything regrettable since getting their own rooms." Mastema was casual and mostly dismissive of the idea that more strict rules would be needed. Perhaps he just trusted his children more than expected. The other alternative was Nana was making it hard for Mas to care about such details at the time.

Hnn, I suppose that's true. There is always a chance they may play a trick or prank on one another though. So, unless something does happen I suppose, they'll get the benifit of the doubt.
*Hope for the best, plan for the worse, and may nothing bad come of your decisions. At least Nana was hoping for the best, though the children were still in that age category of potential trouble. However with all of Nana's lessons and attempts at some sort of disapline, perhaps the children would be just fine. But onto the thought of the lens, there was the problem of inserting it. If it was more like a contact lens it would have to be breathable so ones eyes could remain moist, and there would be need for some container or something like it to carry them in. Given the current-- situation, this was a lot to think about*

Mastema chuckled and raised his hand to place a finger on Nana's lips. "Now now, have a little faith, Nana. They're your children, afterall; I'm think they know well enough not to be mean to each other without harm, and extra rules won't change that. I'm sure your believing and trusting in them with their own privacy will be more motivation for them to do no wrong than disciplinary precautions." Mastema placed his hands on Nana's lower back and started pressing his fingers firmly against that area, massaging her slowly. It was as much as affectionate gesture as it was a way of making his argument; hopefully Nana was now less inclined to disagree with the point if anything. "Given three young children, I'm not sure if one could ask for better tempering and behavior. It's been a while since I've seen them quarrel anyway."

Since you've seen them quarrel yes it has been a while, but I see it more often when teaching them, even little things like a pencil or eraser can cause small outbursts.
*Whether or not the new information would change Mastema's opinion was to be seen, but for now Nana would rest her head by one of Mastema's shoulders. He certainly did make the bed more comfortable, a hidden talent perhaps. However the fact remained, the children did still quarrel, so perhaps that was why Nana had made mention of rules and consequences. A light huff would be heard escaping Nana's lips before she closed her eyes lightly, and ran her hands over and then under each sholder*

Mastema didn't pass off the information completely, but it wasn't enough to him to warrant strict rules for the lens. "I see. However, this is meant for private use, dear. I don't imagine the lens being used outside of their own spaces or unless they indeed to keep them close. I think the children will understand once they realize how important the lens is to using the private screens. The lens themselves won't provide anyone access though. I'm sure you have protection on things like your journal to keep others from reading it, even when it's not on your terminal." The pencils could be stolen easily and for reason in class, but the same wasn't true of whatever personal things the children chose to use Zio for. As if on cue, Mastema's caresses against Nana's back became more tender and covered a larger area, to keep Nana's tension from rising anymore.

Hnn... I hope so.
*Another light huff would be heard before Nana opend her eyes again and focused them on a nearby cover. It was late, and they should probably get some sleep. The morning would arrive soon enough, giving them new challenges for the day, Thanatos' arrival back home, and one step closer to a completed renovation. There were some things to think about, and weigh in Nana's mind for the remainder of the night. Security lens, new lessons for the children, alternative renovating ideas, safety of the whole family, yes Nana had a lot to think about. In a fluid movement, Nana would move one arm out from under Mastema's shoulder, grab the corner of the cover, and pull it up and over the two of them. She would over extend her arm a little while doing so, but she would be alright*

As Nana reached to bring the cover over them, Mastema's hand suddenly stopped her and he chuckled softly. "Now, don't strain yourself dear. I wouldn't want your arm feeling sore in the morning." Mastema reached for the covers as well, aiding Nana so that she wouldn't be over extending her arm. When Nana finally turned back to him, Mastema didn't seem to be in the mood to hear any objections to his intention and kissed her to make sure she wouldn't open her mouth to talk any time soon. He stopped massaging her as well, opting instead to snuggle her close and keep her thoughts from straying to anything else.

Mphf~ heart
*There was little time for Nana to make a remark, had she been able to, she may have been able to utter, "It wouldn't--" before Mastema had kissed her, but alas no luck for Nana. Elsewhere in the tower, Micha was still stiring unable to find rest. As such the boy saught a way to search out sleep. Much like an older person might do, Micha decided on books to try and help him sleep. If all else failed he could find the most boring book he was able, sleep was sure to lye not far beyond that. Taking a few minutes to dress himself, the boy would casually exit his room and began wandering down the hall towards the stairs*

Mastema was in no state of mind to hear Nana's objections to his help anyway. Let the moment pass, with ex-admirals blowing their former cronies to smitherens and broody, old figures reappear by the forest after a long absence; Mas didn't particularly care about it at the moment.
Some time after Mas kissed Nana and one thing led to another, Thanatos finally returned home from the semi-successful party. Really, he thought of it as more successful than not, and all the other guests were just too dumb to notice it. Best of all, he didn't have to blow Tegral and his henchmen to the great recycle bin in the sky, as he'd been prepared to do. That, and now he could perform a little experiment at a later date with his loot. Upon nearing the tower, however, Thanatos noticed that one of the familiar people he sensed was not where he should have been. "Now what's he doing out that far this late at night?" Than questioned himself, continuing past the tower and toward the library. "Growing into a teen already..."
Some 15 minute walk later, Than arrived at the library, with his shoulder bag on and fully dressed for once. "Micha~.... are you in here?" Than decided to leave his bag by the door as he wandered in. This was a slightly delicate matter to handle, since he was blind and Micha mute. It was an interesting marco polo game at worst.

*Perhaps Thanatos was right, or at the very least it was a foreshadowing. Though not teens yet, the children were getting closer now, and a few habits were slowly making their way into at least one of the children for now. Sitting quietly at one of the large tables, Micha was reading away trying to find something to knock him out, so far nothing was working for him. Perhaps an even odder choice, Micha was reading the catalogue cards that showed where certain books were. Numbers, rows, isles, names and authors, they were all there and being informative, but... they weren't putting the boy to sleep. About the time Micha put down a card referencing insects one might find in the garden, Thanatos wandered in. Looking up from his card to the door, Micha would eye Thanatos up and down as he wandered farther into the library. His elder brother was much better at many things, including knowing where he was at any given moment, like now in the library. Thanatos' senses must have been sharpend once he lost his eyes, his body needed to compensate for the loss of sight with better external senses, touch, sound, the ability to read where familiar auras were. As was by now well expected of the boy, Micha said not a word while Than wanderded about*

"Oi, what're you doing up this late, bud? You're supposed to wait till you're older to follow your big brother's bad example of going out late at night." Than chuckled, in much better humor than he'd been when he left Twice royal. It wouldn't take long for Than to wander up to Micha's table and reach his hand out to the boy's head, affectionately patting his hair. "Hmm, you're kinda tired. Having trouble sleeping, maybe?" Than was somewhat perceptive when it came to physical contact. It was easy for him to understand Micha might be a little insomniac; Than himself had a few episodes where he just couldn't sleep, mostly due to strong urges to try something out at night. That, or Than was just getting good at guessing things with the brother he wished he could communicate with better. Than sat down down in the chair next to Micha's and put his hand on Micha's shoulder. "I know the feeling, don't worry about it. Been a weird night for me too." Than's expression turned from a smile to yawning, letting himself unwind a bit now that he was home.

*The boy would blink back to his brother, the yawning only making him a little more tired. There was a hint of blood in the air hanging around Thanatos, Micha couldn't even begin to imagine what went on at the party Thanatos had attented earlier. KB's death for-- well who could count how many times now, Thanatos dressing up like a clown, talking to Apollo, enertaining random people, yelling, fighting, sitting, contemplating... Where as Micha just went about his normal business, having dinner, interacting with Trilla, perhaps having a shower and then going to bed only to find he couldn't sleep. By comparison, Micha and the others lead a much less volitile and violent life. This was all thanks in part to Mastema, Nana, and everyone else inside the Citadel who wanted the children to grow up without too much to worry over. The children would be able to grow up as children and play, learn and experience, all the while happily and untainted... at least that was the hope*
