"I'm not going to give you the answer." Hm, she wasn't going to be very happy when she got home was she? Probably not...oh well, Malik had more than enough paperwork that she could be distracted with. "Okay so you know what it isn't so what it is, is what it isn't. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't see you constantly engaging in those travesties." And quiet again, perhaps contemplating what she was going to say or perhaps not say.

Arthur gave a light smile when she giggled and smiled at his nudging, he liked to do little things like poke her and nudge her, it was just a friendly then between them that's all. "Well I love your specialty, it's a wonderful thing to have at your fingertips really. Though I'm just happy with being able to use the four elements." Well there were those would could do what Arthur can do and then there were those like Isle, who had a specialty that was more different than the regular kind of magic. "But don't worry about the food down here Isle, I think you'll be able to eat some things that are down here, fish are easy it's the other meats that will fill you up pretty quickly." But he let that little say go without any worry in it, he didn't want to control what she ate after all that would be weird. But when Isle asked him how far they are going out he didn't answer her soon he just looked around to gain a sense of where they are. "Well...twenty minutes and I say we will be far out enough...then we can just sit back and relax or whatever it is we want to do..." And so Arthur stared straight ahead, hands grasping the wheel in front of him as he turned it slowly to the left, this was his sea and he knew it well.
Well after twenty minutes like he said Arthur left his position and stopped the ship in it's place then threw out his anchor allowing it to settle on the bottom and finally pull the boat to a quiet stop, the fog was still rolling in thanks to Isle which made him even more happy. So he quickly disappeared below deck to a holding area which could hold enough things for a person but he made it big enough for two just incase, but as Arthur said before he cleared mostly everything out except for rum, glasses, his hammock and other things that he didn't need on land. So minutes later Isle could see the elf setting up his hammock down on the deck while there was a bottle of rum with two clean shot glasses ready to be used, once he was able to tie the final knot Arthur sat down on the large hammock and swung back and forth a little bit with a small smile. "It's still good..." Though he looked up to see his friend and lightly grinned. "Come. Sit, have a small drink if you want." He said as he spread his arms out around him, the light emitting a soft glow around the spot.

She was quiet for those twenty minutes, after all with her vision enhanced as it was, she could see perfectly in the fog now couldn't she? Of course. Thus just watching the underdark go by, the occassional bat or something, until of course she noticed Galesen moving about. And she merely watched as he disappeared adn then came back setting up a hammock and duely invited her over. Oh gods...opportunity to mess with him just because. But don't jump too fast there Isle. Walking over she flopped down in the hammock with him, giving a giggle. "I think I'll just rest for now." Thus stretching herself out, nudgeing or bumping into him with her movements accidentilly on purpose.

Arthur watched the elf lightly as he swung a little back and forth on his hammock, but when she came over he was a bit upset that she didn't want to drink with him but bells went off a little in his head when Isle said she wanted to rest and started to stretch out. "Well go right ahead, I'm not stopping you..." But as she went about trying to rest on the hammock he noticed how she was bumping into him and nudging him, all by mistake really...well hopefully. Oh gods... He thought and shook his head lightly as he grabbed the bottle and a glass, pouring himself some rum he looked back a little to see the beautiful elf just lying there in his hammock, why in the same of everything did he get so nervous like this? "Must be how I was raised..." He muttered to himself and drank down what was in his glass, and boy did it feel good. Well after a few minutes he took another one for courage then set the bottle and glass down before turning to Isle. "Can you move over? I want to lay down..." He told her and when she did he stretched out and laid fully on his back, his arms rested behind his head while his feet stay mostly straight on the piece of cloth.

"Gonna drink that all by yourself then?" She didn't know if she wanted any or not. Men got kind of uptight around her when she drank, mostly because she could be quite the drinker. That somehow or another hurt thier egos or something like that. But when he mentioned laying down, she scooted herself so he could. Of course when he did, hammock physics kicked in and she almost got dumped out. Damn hammocks. "I don't think we can sit like this..." Him laying and her sitting wasn't going to work. So then, she'd solve the problem. Trying to keep in a laugh she laid back next to him, her head resting on his shoulder and attempted to make it look like she wasn'y trying to let her body touch his out of respect for his personal space. Fun times. "You know...this Depths quiet is nice."

The water around Arthur's boat suddenly shuttered, as though a great wave fluttered away from the floating object in all directions with such speed it could not be considered natural in the least. The rocking stopped quickly, and a watery spunnel lifted from the lake, and landed keenly on the ship. The spunnel disipated into a humoniod form, but composed entirely out of water. The being stoop roughly five and a half feet tall, and looked rather scrawny. The creature's face had elvish features, or maybe just angelic motiffs.
"Sorry to interrupt you, offworlder. Can you tell me if I should recall my colleague from Malik's lair before he enter's the dragon's mouth, or will my friend be safe." The female voice, or what must be female, spoke in a very bubbly rythem.

Arthur blinked a few times, she wanted to drink? Then why didn't she go ahead and grab a glass when he offered her to come and sit with him? Well Arthur didn't want to stress himself out so he gave a small shrug. "The bottle is for both of us to share, if you want some then drink, if you want to take shots with me than I be glad to." Well he wouldn't mind testing how she could hold herself when she drank, especially with strong stuff like rum. But of course when he laid back he forgot what would happen to Isle, but luckily she didn't just fly off from where she was sitting but it made a nice dilemma with the way things looked right now. "Well then fine I'll..." But before he could do anything the elf was already moving and then she was laying right next to him, her head on his shoulder and her body was close to touching his own but yet it somehow stayed off a bit; till the situation did make him blush a tiny bit. "Oh yes it is...that's why I love sailing down here...the peace makes up for the lack of light on the surface in my opinion."
Though before he could even do a thing he felt the boat rock a little which made the elf sit up just a bit, then he went for his katana but realized it was leaning on a barrel a few feet from him when the water funnel came out of the lake and landed on the deck, so he'll settle for his dagger incase things got ugly. Though when a solid form, even though it was made out of water, came forth Arthur just listened silently to what it was asking then paused for a second in confusion. "There's someone at the fortress?" He asked back with a raised eyebrow, well whatever was over there must of came after he and Isle left to go out onto the open waters, oh well maybe whoever this creature was looking for would survive while over there, hopefully.

Well damn that put a little kink in her plans didn't it? Though when Galesen sat up those damn hammock physics again worked against her. Good thing she could balance. But she watched a moment as water did freaky water things and then well...there was indeed a freaky water thing. This place was full of surprised. Though at the word of 'offworlder' Isleandra blinked and pointed at herself in the 'me?' gesture. But she shared Galesen's thought on it...there was someone back at the fortress? "Um...he should be safe I guess...if you know, he's not swinging weapons or speaking death and destruction and all of that..." Blink.

"Oh. This is not good." The water creature said with a very timid sound. "Compared to you, Offworlder, How fares Malik's mind? It is our experience that Malik and Piper swtiched selves six years ago. Minds are not the same as before. Offworlder, do you trust Malik?"

Arthur blinked a few times, was this thing calling him an off worlder? Well he isn’t but his appearance might mistake him for one, oh well he'll let it slide, for now. But he watched the creature lightly as the sea water pushed itself against the boat, this was just going to be fun huh? "Malik right now is fine...he is as stable as he could ever be and if your friend chooses his, or hers, words carefully then they will be fine." Though there was a pause for a moment. "How about you wait on the shore..." He pointed to the right of him. "Up the coast line about twenty minutes from here by boat for an hour and if your friend doesn't show then call him back? It's the best way to be sure in my opinion..." Well that's what he would do if he was this water creature in front of him, but it seemed to worry about it's friend so hopefully the other one will come back.

And why was it not good? Most likely whomever was at the fortress was going to cause trouble. Oh yes...Piper would love that seeing as Malik was supposed to be on some sort of 'vacation'. "Um...I'd say he's stable..." Though Isle had no clue what the thing was talking about considering some personality switch or something, what was that all about? Uh huh..."I trust Malik...he did marry my best friend after all." Yes tis was all very strange. And a poke at Galesen. "Do things approach as not hostily as this in the Depths or is this something I should just remember to keep my guard up because not everyone is this...um, nice?"

The water creature looked at the elf who spoke, then the other one. It moved in a very strange way, which made it appear to be confused. "If it is so easy to trust Malik, why does my summoner fear to do so?"

Arthur nudged Isle back and whispered. "This has never happened to me before...but you don't have to keep your defense up all the time...just be openly cautious..." Though he looked back at the creature with a tilt of his head and blinked a few times. "Your summoner may fear him because of the things he has heard about Malik, right now he should be pretty stable and your friend will no be in harms way so don't worry about it." Well he just hoped that whoever wanted to go see Malik had a good reason and best of luck to them.

"Summoner's fears based on eyes, not ears." Simple retort, but sufficient from the waters perspective to convey the meaning. " If reputation was sufficient for evidence, then why was I summoned to ask you offworlder and elf the question?"

She was more blunt however. "Maybe because he's overly paranoid or has the wrong sources of information." Simple at that some people just were overly paranoid. Kind of made sense down here now didn't it. Though another blink as the creature merely continued. "Well then your whoever has seen some wrong thigns or bad days. Then again that would be spying wouldn't it?" Though a shrug on your part. "You were sent to ask such a thing shouldn't you know that?"
