"Hi daddy..." she smiled at him, then stared a little making sure that was Powell. It was.
"I know what this looks like but..." karen didn't have to say anything as Carol stepped in.
"Mr. Starr, my name is Carol Danvers, I am with the Avengers." She shook his hand and had him take a seat, it felt like a parent teacher conference. "Allow me to explain. Your daughter is a remarkable young woman. She single handedly saved an entire bank full of people. However, she then asked for payment for this feat. Although not illegal, this coaght our attention."
Karen rolled her eyes. "They kept me here for no reason and wasted my time! And yours daddy." Karen practically shouted but instead just spoke loudly.
"Excuse me, but that's just the reason why Karen is here. She could make a wonderful hero. She had the potential the the worlds mightiest hero. But the only thing stopping her is her attitude."
Karen scuffed and rolled her eyes, "What's wrong with my attitude?"
Carol continued, "I believe with some supervision Karen could reach her goals. But she needed additional assistance to the classes she's taking at hero high."
She slides Mr. Starr a file with forms inside.
"With your permission as her parent id like to enroll her into the Avengers Initiative. Whould you like you daughter to be the best she can? "

*Dear Baby Jesus...small, tiny, miniscule Baby Jesus...thank you. Thank you for this, Chris thought to himself. Time to make Karen pay for ragging on him all year long. YOUR UPPENCE HAVE COME, KAREN STARR!*
Ms. Danvers, I cannot thank you enough for this. You see, my wife and I are at our wit's end.
*Chris pretended to get choked up and took a moment to compose himself.*
You've heard how she talks. She talks to us like this all of time! And we can't even wash her mouth out because of her powers! We tried to find friends that could be a good influence on her but nothing works. We even tried to set her up on a date with a boy named Christopher Powell. Young Powell is a good egg...in fact I believe his mentor is Captain America.
I digress. Karen abused this poor boy to no end and he couldn't date her. Nobody can help us....
*Chris pretended to wipe a tear.*
I will happily sign off on everything! Please mentor my daughter. Help us, Ms. Danvers, you're our only hope.

She glared at him with meaning. It spoke volumes. You sign that paper and I will melt your brain through your eyeballs. Don't. You. Dare!
"Daddy... don't you think you should talk to mom about this? Or even me?" She kicked him under the table, but the inhibitor cuff was still on so she didn't do much damage.

Your mother and I need help. I believe Ms. Danvers is the answer to our prayers. I firmly believe she would agree one hundred percent with this. We trust the Avengers.
*Chris quickly signed all the papers.*
Thank you, Ms. Danvers. You're a godsend. Do..do I take her back to school now?

"She is free to leave, we are releasing her now, thank you for your cooperation. We look forward to seeing you twice a week. You start bright and early Saturday."
Removing the cuff from Karen, Carol walked away, while Karen screamed.
"But that's my weekend! Great!"
She glared at her dad grabbing hold of him. "Come on dad... ill give you a ride home...."
BOOM!
Karen sonic speeded away and to the sky.
"POWELL! What the hell!? I thought they were just going to talk to you, but now I have to give up my weekends? You! You! You! !AGr!"

Listen here, Chesty LaRue, you put me in a bad situation! I had to lie to CAPTAIN FREAKING MARVEL! Do you know the level of badass she has achieved? SHE'S ONE OF THE BEST AVENGERS! You're lucky to have her as a mentor! Plus...you deserved that. Pulling me into your hijinks. Hmph...I am not your boyfriend no matter how much you wish I was!

Cassie looked at Dani..
"Linda Lang huh? I guess we could ask her... provided she's still not trying to get into the squad."
Cassie sighed, she had nothing against Linda but she simply didn't make the cut. She began to wonder if Dani had completely forgotten that Cassie was the head cheerleader... If Linda was still trying to get in good with her it would be awkward to say the least.

Theo Altman "I'm doing fine. Honest," Teddy said, holding up his fingers like a scout. "I mean, I miss my mom a lot, and the holidays are going to be really weird...but ...I'll get used to it. I'm really lucky to have the friends I do and to be at a school that can handle this sort of thing. Mr. Wayne has been really supportive, and he checks in on me. So does Mr. Banner. All of the staff really." Teddy smiled, a smear of orange goo around his mouth that he quickly wiped away with a napkin. "There's no need to worry. If there was, I'd let you know."
His hand reached for Billy's, giving it a gentle squeeze. "How have you been? Ok and everything?"
Billy gave him two thumbs up.
The two teens finished eating and headed from the mall to Blackhawks for Chris's surprise party with their gifts in tow. As they approached the door, Billy paused to look at Teddy.
"Oh, I almost forgot Teddy. Um, my parents heard about your mom and they've invited you to spend the summer with us. My brothers are going to camp so there'll be lots of room."

Dani Chuckled a little. "Lang somehow made by the skin of her teeth last year, I think it was because Karen Starr dropped out and they needed an extra person. But I hear she's more into the science and art thing now then cheer leading." She shrugged, the Chair was going to be moved to the School and delivered but night fall, she the girls wouldn't have to lug it around town. "I think he'll love it! So how about we head over to Zinda's and see how the preparations for the Party are coming along? Plus, i'm am getting hungry..."

Not planet. Last ting In ALL of EXISTENCE! It was YOU who put ME in a BAD situation!!" She poked his armored chest. "Because Of YOU!! I have to Give up my Weekends! Listen, I know you have problems with thinking logically with all the blood rushing out of your head and into your chest but Captain Marvel is AWESOME. You should be kissing my butt for giving you such a good opportunity! And with a mouth like that, I'm sure your parents won't miss you that much.
And of course you're in love with me, Busty McGee, it's sooo obvious! You're like that little girl who shows her affection by picking on the boys! Always calling me names and screaming about how I shouldn't look at your chest...I bet you do that on purpose! You call attention to your chest to try and seduce me away from Cassie. You need quit that...I am an one demigoddess kind of guy!

*Chris flew off, laughing to himself. He'd love to see the look on Karen's face when Captain Marvel absorbed the energy from the heat vision and sent it back at Karen.
So...a party. EXCELLENT! Chris flew down to his dorm to get a shower.*

*Grabbing his head, Chris dropped to his knees. Emma Frost's voice pierced his brain. OW!*
Dr. Richards says you haven't called! Get over there...NOW!
*Grumbling, Chris started towards the science building.*
