gonk I've got this damned thing stuck in my head. And I'm not even watching the twins.
crying Round, and round the garden. To catch a teddy bear. One step, two step....
TICKLE UNDER THERE!!!
Omg. I used to play that on my baby sister when she was actually a baby... she always laughed and flinched happily when I started "stepping".
I used to be so good at playing with kids, having 3 little sisters and all... but recently when I got to watch over my cousin's 8-month-old baby for a few minutes, I froze up speechless and didn't know how to talk to her.
The only thing I've "baby talked" to for the last few years has been my CAT... and I can't very well click my tongue and go "mew mew mew!" to her.
I was only taught this a few years ago, when my first nephew(Ethan) was still very young.
And I never knew about the "tickle under there" until the twins were big enough to play with. I just tickled after the second step and laughed.
As do the twins. They've only just started doing the motions of circling the palm and walking the arm.
xd I didn't know how to act with Ethan when he was born. Because he was the first baby I really had the chance to learn with.
But I'm guess I'm good with kids. Until they drive me crazy. I.E. Ethan, when he starts to fight.
gonk I just do what I was taught as a child that I remember, and how I think my brother would like things done.
Because I'll spank, if I need to, or sit him on time out, or send him to his room.
I might make a good parent, as I'm always told. But I don't know how I'd manage keeping sane. I have my limits for being patient.
burning_eyes Sure you can, I don't know how she'd act though.
razz I miss doing that call to my first cat, and my second cat won't answer to it.
You'd have to whisle to have a small chance of her to even think about coming over.
